The seasoned pros headlined what turned out to be a reasonably eventful Thursday. Here’s the complete recap.
Spartan Poker
The tournament action on Spartan Poker was headlined by the Ultron. The event saw its guarantee lowered by ₹2 Lakhs from last week to promise a ₹18 Lakhs guaranteed prize pool. The turnout was considerably lesser than last week, but with 460 runners (217 unique, 78 re-entries, and 165 rebuys), the event successfully crushed its guarantee, collecting ₹18.40 Lakhs. The final 39 players shared the spoils with Rubin ‘icantwin’ Labroo banking the lion`s share worth ₹3.69 Lakhs after eliminating Sahil ‘ImHighIshove’ Mahboobani in second place.
Labroo, the reigning India Poker Champion, made another podium finish, placing third in PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD The Summit for ₹2.12 Lakhs. He earned over ₹5.80 Lakhs from these two finishes to boost his online record to ₹5.13 Crores.
Mahboobani, who had placed third in the Godfather for ₹2.85 Lakhs last week, collected a runner-up payday worth ₹2.45 Lakhs to send his online scorecard soaring to ₹5.97 Crores!
The ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack was championed by TLB crusher Neeraj ‘SelfClaimedPros’ Kumar, who rose atop a 363-entry field to win ₹1.30 Lakhs after reaching a three-way deal with ‘RK0503’ (runner-up for ₹1.10 Lakhs), and ‘Hurricane-chan’ (3rd for ₹1 Lakhs).

PokerStars India
PokerStars India`s Thursday headliner, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut MAGIC Edition, logged in 275 entries on its latest run, including 143 unique players. The bumper turnout ensured a guarantee-busting ₹11 Lakhs prize pool.
‘Addysonu’ worked their way up the ranks to win the title and ₹2.43 Lakhs (₹85,616 in prize money and ₹1.57 Lakhs in bounties) after striking a heads-up deal with the former INSCOOP MAMMOTH champion Vineet ‘’TheMentalistNo1′ Kumar (runner-up for ₹1 Lakhs).
