Wednesday wasn’t just midweek; it was a poker eruption! The DPT Xpress exploded at Casino Deltin Royale in Goa, drawing poker luminaries and hardened grinders to India’s poker mecca. The live tables blazed, with Angad Kaura seizing the first trophy in the DPT Rush and setting the tone for an action-packed series.

Online, the virtual felt shimmered with its own brand of excitement. Flagship tournaments held court, while value-laden events teemed with opportunity and overlays galore, giving every player a chance at glory.

This week might be a slight detour from what’s shaping up to be a colossal month for online poker. With PokerBaazi’s ₹100 Crores GTD NPS India 2025 just around the corner, expectations are sky-high for an online poker explosion. Pocket52 is also fueling the fire, offering a juicy ₹5 Crores on its Cash Game Leaderboards and over ₹5.50 Crores in tournament guarantees.

But Wednesday belonged to Gaurav Bhandari. This former IOPC Legends finalist and The MoneyMaker 33.0 runner-up turned last night into a personal victory parade. After a 20-month dry spell, he rewrote his poker destiny with a resounding victory in PokerBaazi’s The Pride, banking a massive ₹5.04 Lakhs – his second-biggest score on the platform. Another deep run sweetened the deal, pushing his total winnings for the day to ₹5.16 Lakhs and landing them on top of the day`s earnings charts! Equally captivating was ‘utkarsh420,’ a player who had toiled for 17 months without a breakthrough. Their near-miss in The Pride, a second-place finish worth ₹3.01 Lakhs, was a game-changer, over 20 times their previous best cash and a result that launched them into profitability on PokerBaazi for the first time.

Advait Rajguru, the 2024 POY #5 and PokerGuru Staking coach, continued his fiery run. Straight from a win in Adda52’s Big Whale, he captured his first-ever victory in PokerBaazi’s WTF, bagging over ₹3.06 Lakhs (his third win of 2025). A sixth-place finish in Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets and a pair of other deep runs boosted his Wednesday earnings to ₹3.61 Lakhs, bringing his year’s total to a staggering ₹41+ Lakhs. Rajguru is making a serious case for POY contention! Shubham Agarwal, The MoneyMaker 87.0 champion, almost tasted victory for the first time in nearly four months, finishing runner-up in the WTF for ₹2.03 Lakhs.

Vaibhav Temani, a former IOPC The Crown champion, kept his streak alive. After a warm-up with a third-place finish in The Endeavour Lite and a sixth-place finish in the Big PLO-5 the night before, he conquered the same Big PLO-5 on PokerBaazi, banking ₹2.01 Lakhs – his second win of the year and his seventh tracked PLO victory. The seasoned ‘JCchon413‘ added a twist with a second-place finish in the Big PLO-5, earning ₹1.69 Lakhs.

Mohit Mehta was another star, though his string of near misses persisted. After a fourth-place finish in Tuesday’s Big PLO-5, he again came within striking distance of ending his eight-week title drought. He posted two podium finishes, taking second place in Natural8 India’s Daily Hypersonic 15 (₹1.49 Lakhs) and third place in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 (₹1 Lakh) for a combined ₹2.49 Lakhs, making him the fourth-biggest scorer of the night.

On Adda52, Jabalpur’s Saransh Garg pulled off a heist, capturing his first-ever Maverick DPT Edition title for over ₹1.90 Lakhs. Another deep run fattened his wallet, bringing his total winnings to almost ₹1.96 Lakhs. Veteran Adda52 grinder ‘supernuts13‘ nearly snatched their first title of the year, finishing a hair’s breadth away for ₹1.39 Lakhs.

Over at Pocket52, Ravi Kant Kumar, still buzzing from his recent Pocket Rockets win, continued his torrid pace with an incredible repeat performance. He took down the Pocket Rockets for the second week in a row, earning ₹1.88 Lakhs – his second-best score on the platform. Another deep run brought his total winnings to over ₹2 Lakhs. Sagar Maheshwari experienced the agony of a near miss in the Pocket Rockets for the second time this year, finishing with ₹1.32 Lakhs and closing out the day with ₹1.36 Lakhs across two deep runs.

Other PokerBaazi flagship winners include Vishal Maharaj (Won Daily Last Chance for 1.79 Lakhs) &‘killfish09’ (Won The Pride Lite for 1.32 Lakhs).

On Junglee Poker, platform regular ‘tonkaaaaaa’ conquered the Wednesday Superstack apparently for the first time, banking a site-best 1.53 Lakhs.

Wednesday also saw impressive victories from the 2024 TLB (points) leaderboard topper Mohak Kapoor, Jaikumar V, Satyapal, Abhishek Agarwal, and Kashish Sachdev in the other marquee events.

Here are the Wednesday highlights!

PokerBaazi just dealt out a mid-week haymaker, and one familiar face rose above the rest. Gaurav ‘Zillastar’ Bhandari, the former IOPC Legends finalist and The MoneyMaker 33.0 runner-up, blasted back onto the scene, conquering the 30 Lakhs GTD The Pride. After a 20-month dry spell since his victory parade in Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack in May 2023, Bhandari was itching for another win. He’d come close a few times, but last night, he finally broke through, and in the biggest event on PokerBaazi, no less.

The Pride, PokerBaazi’s 8 PM Wednesday headliner, always attracts a swarm of hungry sharks, and the same trend continued last night. The action was still hot despite the DPT Xpress pulling some regulars away to Goa. A stacked field of 617 entries (327 unique) whipped up a poker tempest that raged for over eight hours and 15 minutes.

Bhandari weathered the storm like a true champion, relentlessly firing three bullets and keeping his focus amidst the chaos. He battled his way through the field slowly but steadily, eventually capturing his first-ever The Pride title and his first major win of 2025. This breakthrough performance earned him a massive 5.04 Lakhs – his second-biggest score on the platform and seventh-best overall. This win also clawed back 10% of his online losses. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also cashed in the Big PLO-5, finishing 22nd for 12,000. All told, Bhandari walked away with nearly 5.16 Lakhs, making him the day’s top earner!

‘utkarsh420, a relatively unknown player who’s been active at the smaller stakes on the platform for just 17 months, nearly pulled off a massive upset. They came this close to their first-ever platform win and in The Pride of all events. While they narrowly missed the top spot, their second-place finish still netted them a platform-best 3.01 Lakhs— a staggering over 20 times their previous top score. This windfall not only dwarfed their previous best but also pushed them into the green on PokerBaazi for the first time.

utkarsh420’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: 3.88 Lakhs | Site Profits: 1.85 Lakhs

With several big names in Goa for the DPT Xpress, The Pride final table featured some regulars but many fresh faces. ‘RampageR1’ took third place for 2.40 Lakhs, while Monday’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost finalist Archit ‘RareAbility’ Saraogi finished fourth for 1.85 Lakhs. ‘EbIchinNikz, ‘drwoo, ‘Openender, and ‘SinWithAGrin’ rounded out the top eight, earning 1.36 Lakhs, 1.11 Lakhs, 90,082, and 69,413, respectively.

As has become customary with PokerBaazi’s flagships, the 5,750 buy-in The Pride easily surpassed its 30 Lakhs guarantee, generating a 30.85 Lakhs prize pool. The top 101 finishers all earned a payout, with a minimum of 9,872. It was a mid-week poker explosion on India’s hottest online poker platform, delivering the thrilling action and big rewards the poker community has come to expect from PokerBaazi.

Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru isn’t just shaking up the online poker scene; he’s setting it on fire. If 2024 was his coming-out party, 2025 is shaping up to be his coronation. Fresh off a victory in Adda52’s Big Whale—his second major title in as many Sundays—the 2024 POY #5 kept the heater burning bright, taking down PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD WTF last night for a sizzling ₹3.06 Lakhs payday. That’s a hat-trick of titles this year already!

Advait Rajguru
Advait Rajguru

The 7:30 PM flagship event saw the PokerGuru Staking coach weave through a dense jungle of 848 entries (458 unique), grinding it out for seven hours and 46 minutes before claiming his first-ever WTF title. It also happens to be his third-biggest score of the year.

But Rajguru’s hunger wasn’t sated. He put in a true grinder’s shift, making another solid final table run in Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets (6th for ₹37,760) and also cashing in PokerBaazi’s The Pride (88th for ₹9,872) and Adda52’s Maverick DPT Edition (44th for ₹7,051). That pushed his nightly haul to over ₹3.61 Lakhs.

From making a splash in his PSL debut at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 and steering Deccan Aces to a record-extending victory to his impressive run in Season 1 of PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit’ and his consistent online dominance, this poker phenom has been on a tear everywhere. His recent explosive form has already rocketed him past ₹41 Lakhs in total winnings for the year, making him a serious contender in the POY race.

Advait Rajguru’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹12.66 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.13 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3 | Annual Winnings: ₹41.05 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹30.32 Lakhs | Drops to #48 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard

Shubham ‘backchod’ Agarwal, the former The MoneyMaker 87.0 champion, who has been posting some solid results this year, was hunting for his first title in four months, and he came so close in the WTF. The Rajasthan-based reg battled hard only to finish runner-up for ₹2.03 Lakhs—his best score of 2025 so far.

The WTF final table was a who’s who of poker crushers. Tuesday’s The Mint DPT Edition winner Arjanveer ‘holdbaby’ Singh Chadha locked up ₹1.50 Lakhs for third place, while Friday’s PLO-5 Boost champ Neeraj ‘SelfClaimedPro’ Kumar bagged ₹95,053 for fifth. Also making deep runs were the 2024 POY #20 Vinay ‘Vinstill’ B (6th for ₹77,623), Cholaraj ‘C11R’ G (7th for ₹60,802), and satellite qualifier Ashish ‘ASHISH199’ Thawani (8th for ₹44,385).

And just like The Pride, the ₹2,750 buy-in WTF smashed its guarantee, generating a prize pool of ₹20.27 Lakhs. The top 121 finishers all pocketed at least ₹5,675—more than double their buy-in, making it a mid-week poker party for the online masses.

Vaibhav ‘vane_shado’ Temani is on a mission in 2025, and he’s not taking any prisoners! Just three weeks ago, he stormed to victory in PokerBaazi’s The Summit, and he’s kept the pressure on ever since. Back-to-back final table appearances in The Endeavour Lite and Big PLO-5 on Tuesday hinted at what was to come. But last night, he wasn’t just content with a deep run; he was out for blood. The same event that humbled him with a sixth-place finish the night before became his redemption stage; this time, he was calling the shots!

Vaibhav Temani
Vaibhav Temani

Temani bulldozed through the competition in PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5, seizing the ₹2.01 Lakhs first-place prize and adding another PLO title to his overflowing trophy case. Seven PLO wins in the last five and a half years speak for themselves. This guy is a straight-up crusher, no matter what game he’s playing.

The 9 PM PLO flagship was a six-hour slugfest. With 192 entries (105 unique) throwing down, the swings were brutal. But when the smoke cleared, Temani, a proven champion in events like IOPC The Crown and Millionaire Series #5 – Double Millionaire, stood tall. This Big PLO-5 win is his first in the event and ranks as his fourth-highest score among his eight recorded six-figure PLO cashes.

Vaibhav Temani’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹7.85 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.47 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2

But victory wasn’t a gift. ‘JCchon413’—a site loyalist whose history stretches back to August 2022—fought tooth and nail. The December 2022 APT Super HighRoller champion was inches away from their first title of the year before settling for a hard-earned ₹1.69 Lakhs, their best score on the platform this year!

JCchon413’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹1.68 Crores | Site Profit: ₹32.28 Lakhs

Online stalwart Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta (opted out of our tracking) was also in the mix, fresh off his fourth-place finish in Tuesday’s Big PLO-5. He was looking to break his eight-week title drought since his WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo win last December. But the near-miss curse continued. Mehta snagged two podium finishes last night, including a runner-up spot in Natural8 India’s Daily Hypersonic15 and a third-place finish in the very same Big PLO-5. While the title eluded him, Mehta still had a profitable day, racking up at least ₹2.49 Lakhs, a haul that landed him fourth among the day’s top earners!

> 2nd in Natural8 India’s Daily Hypersonic 15 for ₹1,48,659

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹1,00,000

The Big PLO-5 final table was stacked with firepower, featuring regulars like the ever-consistent Shivam ‘daddyaddy’ Kumar Dubey (4th for ₹71,300), Sam ‘thereallokimon’ Anand (5th for ₹55,500), and Netra ‘BoB_Das’ Kumar Das (6th for ₹40,300).

Unlike PokerBaazi’s bigger NLH flagships, the Big PLO-5 recorded a substantial ₹1.65 Lakhs overlay, a juicy bonus for the players. With a ₹5,000 buy-in, the top 27 players were guaranteed at least ₹12,000, a welcome reward for the PLO faithful.

Final Table Results

  1. Vaibhav ‘vane_shado’ Temani – ₹2,01,402
  2. JCchon413 – ₹1,68,598
  3. Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta – ₹1,00,000

The Pride Lite – ₹10 Lakhs GTD

Buy-in – ₹2,000

Re-entries – 226

Prize Pool – ₹10,00,000

PokerBaazi just threw a mid-week bash, and as is becoming a tradition on India’s hottest online platform, we saw a comeback story for the ages unfold in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride Lite.

killfish09’ (opted out of our tracking), December`s WPT#17 Megastack finalist, dove into the 7:30 PM showdown. This primetime event delivered the goods, drawing a packed house of seasoned sharks and aspiring grinders. A competitive field of 543 entries (317 unique) clashed in a six-and-a-half-hour free-for-all. When the dust settled, ‘killfish09’ was the last one standing, clutching their first-ever The Pride Lite title and a sweet ₹1.32 Lakhs prize, courtesy of a heads-up deal!

But this victory was anything but easy. Standing in their way was Gautam ‘Actaeon6079’ Bharadwaj! Bharadwaj, a former The MoneyMaker 32.0 and (1000X) BSS Superstack champion has been putting in the work, but victory had been just out of reach for five months since their The Endeavour Lite takedown in September. The heads-up duel between these two was a nail-biter, but in the end, ‘killfish09’ snagged the top spot. Bharadwaj still walked away with a very respectable ₹1.22 Lakhs from the same heads-up deal—a score that easily ranks among his top ten on PokerBaazi!

Gautam Bharadwaj
Gautam Bharadwaj

Adding a little extra cream to his coffee, Bharadwaj also made a deep run in the WTF, earning ₹9,120 for 33rd place. That pushed his Wednesday winnings to almost ₹1.31 Lakhs—his best showing in 2025 so far and a sign of even bigger things on the horizon.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹1,21,527* (heads-up deal)

> 33rd in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹9,120

Gautam Bharadwaj’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹74.72 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹22.48 Lakhs

The Pride Lite final table was like a poker family reunion, with familiar faces like the mid-stakes pro Tanay ‘tanay0405’ Kauntia (4th for ₹57,000), M ‘Bluffmaster055’ Jimmy (5th for ₹48,300), long-time reg Dhinesh ‘dhineshrocky007’ Kumar (6th for ₹39,800), and Anup ‘Anupkumar001’ Kumar (8th for ₹23,300) all in the mix.

While The Pride easily crushed its guarantee, the more budget-friendly ₹2,000 buy-in The Pride Lite felt the pinch of the DPT Xpress, which has many regulars playing at this price point busy in Goa. The event fell just ₹55,180 short of its advertised guarantee. However, this created incredible value for the players who did participate, with a generous ₹10 Lakhs prize pool distributed among the top 87 finishers. Everyone who cashed earned at least ₹4,400, making it another rewarding mid-week grind on India’s leading online poker platform.

  1. killfish09 – ₹1,31,673*
  2. Gautam ‘Actaeon6079’ Bharadwaj – ₹1,21,527*

Saransh ‘don004’ Garg has a flair for the dramatic. Just over two weeks after conquering Adda52’s The Mint, this Jabalpur poker pro has struck gold again! Last night, he stormed through the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Maverick DPT Edition, seizing the title and a hefty ₹1.90 Lakhs prize.

Saransh Garg

With the DPT Xpress in full swing in Goa, Adda52, the force behind the live series, has adjusted its MTT guarantees. Like The Mint DPT Edition before it, the 8 PM mid-week flagship, also carrying the DPT Edition badge, sported a slightly lower ₹10 Lakhs guarantee, down from its usual ₹12.50 Lakhs. While it didn’t quite hit the mark, this primetime showdown still attracted a fierce field, with 150 players (319 total entries) vying for glory. But Garg was simply unstoppable. He sliced through the competition like a hot knife through butter, claiming his first-ever Maverick title and second-biggest score of 2025. And the magic didn’t end there! A cash in PokerBaazi’s WTF (119th for ₹5,675) boosted his Wednesday winnings to almost ₹1.96 Lakhs!

Saransh Garg’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹7.05 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.75 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2

Long-time Adda52 grinder ‘supernuts13’ (anonymity requested), who’s been a fixture on the platform since March 2018, came within a whisker of their first title of the year in the Maverick. They fought tooth and nail but had to concede defeat, taking home a respectable ₹1.39 Lakhs for second place.

supernuts13’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹27.99 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹6.58 Lakhs

Pranav ‘pkpok’ Khandalkar, hot off a Pocket Bullets final table appearance the previous night, also had a successful Wednesday. He accumulated close to ₹1.31 Lakhs across four deep runs, including a third-place finish in the Maverick DPT Edition and a fourth-place run in the Nighttide DST Adda. Adding a touch of magic to his Maverick performance, this banker-cum-poker-reg spun a mere ₹335 satellite entry into a dazzling 305X ROI!

Pranav Khandalkar’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.23 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.37 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1

The Maverick DPT Edition’s final table was a shark tank. Last night’s Pocket Rockets podium finisher, Abhimanyu ‘PsychoDrama’ Mittal, grabbed ₹74,872 for fourth place. Last week’s WTF champion on a roll, Yash ‘Babyshark21’ Chitre, pocketed ₹40,227 for sixth. And Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo rounded out the list with ₹21,614 in eighth.

With the DPT Xpress luring players to the sun-kissed shores of Goa, the ₹3,350 buy-in Maverick DPT Edition fell ₹74,900 short of its guarantee. But this created a golden opportunity for the 47 players who cashed, each locking in at least ₹7,051—more than double their buy-in!

Pocket52 is cranking up the value in 2025, and the virtual felt is scorching hot, especially this February, with a monstrous 5.50+ Crores guaranteed across their tournaments. And last night, their mid-week mainstay, the 8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Rockets, delivered another dose of high-stakes poker drama.

This 8 PM showdown was a no-holds-barred cage match, with 228 contenders (142 unique) throwing down for the title and a slice of the prize pool. Ravi ‘shivguru123’ Kant Kumar, fresh off his Pocket Rockets victory last week, was hungry for seconds. After firing a second bullet, Kumar carved his way through a gruelling seven hours and 18 minutes of intense poker warfare to achieve an incredible feat: winning the Pocket Rockets for the second consecutive week. That’s his fourth title on the platform (his second in 2025), and it earned him a cool 1.88 Lakhs—his second-best score on Pocket52.

Sagar ‘Mogambo007’ Maheshwari, a sporadic streamer and online reg, also made a strong run in the Pocket Rockets. He battled hard but fell just short in second place. Like Kumar, this was Maheshwari’s second runner-up finish in the Pocket Rockets this year. Despite the heartbreaking repeat near miss, he still walked away with a respectable 1.32 Lakhs—his best score on the platform. Another small score in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost earlier in the day helped push his Wednesday total to over 1.36 Lakhs.

The Pocket Rockets final table was a star-studded affair featuring last night’s Maverick DPT Edition fourth-place finisher Abhimanyu ‘Holy_Grail’ Mittal (3rd for 84,960), the unstoppable WTF champion Advait ‘ronaldinho18’ Rajguru (6th for 37,760), last night (PLO-5) Boost runner-up Vikhyat ‘Payakan57’ Ahlawat (7th for 31,360), the stylish banker-turned-poker reg from Pasighat, Wilson ‘AjeebSaNaamHain’ Yomso (8th for 25,120).

Although the 2,750 buy-in Pocket Rockets experienced a 1.46 Lakhs overlay, Pocket52 ensured the top 27 finishers received a share of the 8 Lakhs prize pool. Everyone who cashed walked away with at least 6,640—more than double their buy-in. It was another night of big action and big wins on Pocket52, proving their commitment to value and excitement is as strong as ever.
