It’s been an intense week for MTT players – all thanks to Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series 4.0 – and the four high-value events at the stop dominated much of the Thursday action!

The Millionaire Series had four events on the Thursday schedule, including the first starting flight of the Millionaire Series Main Event.

The two-time ‘Player of the Year,’ Young Gun Gaurav Sood, improved his chances of defending the title for a third consecutive time by taking down the day`s biggest guaranteed tournament, Spartan Poker’s ₹65 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series #16 – High Roller, for ₹21 Lakhs (his second-best career finish). He`s now the second player after Young Gun Anuj Yadav to have won The Millionaire title thrice. Sood also FT-ed PokerBaazi’s The Summit (4th for ₹1.82 Lakhs), and his Thursday run has catapulted him to #5 in the annual leaderboard rankings.

Wilson Yomso (Won Millionaire Series #17 for ₹1.44 Lakhs) and Vikhyat Ahlawat (Won Millionaire Series #15 for ₹91,757) rounded out the trio of Millionaire Series title winners.

Madhur Kapoor headlined the PokerBaazi winners as he took down The Summit for ₹5.45 Lakhs. Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram finished runner-up for ₹3.81 Lakhs.

The 2021 ACL champion Arun Sriram came out on top in PokerStars India’s Highroller and won the Thursday title for the third time, banking 2.26 Lakhs. The recent BPT 35K Main Event runner-up finisher Aditya Sushant added 1.75 Lakhs in second place.

MTT pro and coach Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi took down Adda52`s Monster Turbo for ₹1.72 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh (2nd for ₹1.57 Lakhs).

Aditya Parashar, Siddharth Gangwar, Shriram Varma, Sandeep Singh Kohli, Adarsh Subham, and Mithilesh Choubey won the other Thursday marquees.
