Kanav Parwal emerged as the day`s top scorer after winning The Millionaire Series The Elite for ₹13.99 Lakhs. Young Gun Gaurav Sood finished runner-up for ₹5.35 Lakhs, climbing up to #2 on the annual rankings. PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal Bajaj placed third for ₹4.98 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan earned his first Super Achiever badge for crossing the benchmark ₹5 Crore mark in lifetime earnings last night after placing second in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹4.23 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank Desai completed the trifecta of top finishes for PokerGuru Staking by taking down PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller for a site-best ₹4.07 Lakhs. Yudhisthir Singh Rathore finished runner-up.

Deepak Choudhary came out in top in PokerBaazi’s COVID-19 relief tourney, The O2 Initiative, adding ₹2.78 Lakhs to his bankroll. PokerBaazi, in partnership with GiveIndia, will donate all the rake, i.e., ₹3.31 Lakhs, generated from the event to provide oxygen assistance to those in need.

Haider Madraswala, Piyush Jain, Kuttappan Assina, and poker streamer Gautam Rohilla shipped the other marquee tourneys of the day.

The Millionaire Series 2.0 has entered the home stretch, and Friday saw Spartan Poker flagging off the showstopper ₹1.50 Crore GTD The Millionaire. Day 1A of the ₹11,000 entry buy-in event logged in 306 participants, and 44 stacks advanced through to Day 2. The mystery user ‘avikon’ (205,687), Raman ‘tathagat’ Gujral (187,772), and The Elite third-place finisher PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘CrownUpJr’ Bajaj (184,972) bagged the top stacks of the day. The multi-flight tourney has another four flights to run before Day 2 on Sunday.

MTT players had two other headline tourneys on Spartan Poker to choose from last night. The day`s featured offering, the ₹40 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series #8 The Elite, had 538 contenders signing for ₹11,000, creating a juicy ₹53.80 Lakhs prize pool (over a third more than the listed guarantee). The 9:30 PM tourney ended at 6:34 AM today, with the former Destiny champion Kanav ‘slickooo’ Parwal coming out on top to win a career-best ₹13.99 Lakhs, making him the fourth Millionaire at the ongoing series.
