It was a busy Tuesday with most of the flagships crushing their prize pool guarantees. The Young Guns had a field day in the biggest tournaments that ran yesterday. Here is a quick recap!
Spartan Poker
Lighting the virtual felts on fire, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack, offered the most massive guarantee among all the Spartan Poker tournaments that ran yesterday. The ₹3,300 buy-in tourney logged in 687 entries collecting ₹20.61 Lakhs in the prize pool. The heads-up for the title came down to a battle between Disha ‘shahzzadi’ Pandey and Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover. The former ultimately prevailed to claim the top prize worth ₹3.99 Lakhs. Grover, who is ranked seventh on our yearly leaderboard with ₹1.69 Crores worth of winnings, posted a runner-up finish for ₹2.51 Lakhs.
The other big-ticket tourney on the site, the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Race, had a successful outing. A turnout of 558 entries collected a profitable ₹8.37 Lakhs in prize money. In the end, the anonymous player ‘Hondrick’ topped the event for ₹1.63 Lakhs.
This is the player’s second title victory on the site in less than a week. The player had championed the Mega Freeze on Wednesday for ₹99,360.
PokerBaazi
PokerBaazi’s Tuesday flagship, The Endeavour, ran with a ₹15 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night. The tourney logged in an extended 481-entry field, striding comfortably past the break-even mark with a prize pool collection of ₹16.84 Lakhs. Young Gun Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta made a grand return to the podium yesterday by taking down the event for ₹3.38 Lakhs. He defeated Vaibhav ‘WakhraSwagNi’ Sharma (runner-up for ₹2.37 Lakhs) heads-up.
Mehta has cashed over ₹1.21 Crores this year, and with this win, his lifetime total winnings have crossed the ₹2 Crore-mark. He also final tabled the AOPS Afterparty PKO yesterday, where he placed fifth for ₹19,924.
Adda52
The ₹20 Lakhs GTD AOPS SuperStack drew 630 entries that helped collect a guarantee-crushing ₹22.05 Lakhs in the prize pool. The field whittled down to a heads-up between Rahul ‘rahulpalawat’ Jain and Eshan ‘eshankapoor’ Kapoor. Jain eventually conquered the title and padded his wallet with ₹5.18 Lakhs. This was his third-biggest score on the site, taking his lifetime online winnings to ₹47.89 Lakhs. The latter finished runner-up for ₹3.02 Lakhs.
The other marquee tourney on Adda52`s Tuesday schedule was the ₹5 Lakhs GTD AOPS Win The Button PKO. The ₹3,700 buy-in tourney witnessed an overlay of ₹11,300 on the back of a field of 181 entries. Championing the competition was PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja, who completed a hattrick, winning three flagship tourneys on consecutive days. With the Spartan Poker’s Sunday SuperStack and Adda52’s AOPS Inception titles under his belt, Ahuja extended his winning form by shipping the AOPS Win The Button PKO last night for ₹1.66 Lakhs. This was Ahuja’s third AOPS title of the series and his sixth overall.
Ranked second on this week’s leaderboard, Ahuja cut his way through a competitive FT featuring players like Nishaanth ‘superdeluxe’ Shanmughasundaram (2nd for ₹98,313), Srihari ‘zombieballs’ Bang (3rd for ₹63,500), Sagar ‘passivity’ Patnaik (4th for ₹45,000), Guneet ‘guntz’ Kwatra (5th for ₹31,250), Uday ‘udaymoola’ Moola (8th for ₹13,750), and Banmanlang ‘bml2012’ Lyndem (9th for ₹11,250).
The third-place finisher Bang posted two final table finishes yesterday. His other deep run saw him placing ninth in PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense for ₹22,854.
PokerStars India
Boasting a ₹10 Lakhs prize pool guarantee, the ₹3,300 buy-in Sixth Sense brought together 284 entries, registering an overlay of ₹1.48 Lakhs. Benefitting the most from the value on offer was Amar’ AceConsultant’ Mehta, who won ₹1.52 Lakhs for the victory after a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved. Mehta seems to have found the winning touch as he had only two days ago won the Sunday Special PKO for ₹3.42 Lakhs. Ved collected the bigger prize worth ₹1.60 Lakhs for his runner-up finish, courtesy the deal.
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Super Tuesday recorded 187 entries, falling ₹32,500 short of break-even. MTT crusher Vaibhav’ GTO_LIFE_GG’ Sharma topped the field, defeating the anonymous player ‘MeraDeshMahaan’ (runner-up for ₹74,126) heads-up to collect ₹99,391.
Sharma was a dominating presence on Tuesday with a top-two finish in two flagship tourneys. He placed second in PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour for ₹2.37 Lakhs, to garner a cumulative score worth ₹3.36 Lakhs yesterday.

Amar ‘AceConsultant’ Mehta, who had shipped PokerStars India’s Sunday Special – Progressive KO for ₹3.42 Lakhs on Sunday, added yet another six-figure score of ₹1.51 Lakhs to his bankroll after championing the Sixth Sense yesterday.
