It was an action-packed Wednesday; still, most of the flagships had to fill in sizable overlays. PokerGuru Ambassadors enjoyed a breakout run with the team booking multiple deep runs that included one title, an impressive three runner-up finishes, and a third-place finish between them.

Young Gun Arsh Grover was the day`s biggest winner for championing Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Destiny for ₹6.63 Lakhs.

PokerStars India`s “Star of the Month” leaderboard race also crowned its first-star last night with Shailesh ‘ArithemeticMean’ Patel overcoming the 100 qualifiers in the October Finale to win ₹1.15 Lakhs in MTT tickets and a goodie bag. The runner-up Partho ‘SpidermanIndia’ Datta received ₹35,000 worth of MTT tickets.

Offering the biggest prize pool guarantee yesterday was Spartan Poker’s 25 Lakhs GTD Destiny. The signature Wednesday flagship logged in 485 entries, resulting in an overlay shortfall of 75,000. After a little over eight hours of play, Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover navigated his way to the top to score a 6.63 Lakhs payday along with a seat in the Destiny 17.0 SnG Finale. PokerGuru Ambassador Nadeem ‘blindgame’ Basha finished runner-up for 4.13 Lakhs.

Grover happens to be the #2 ranked player on the yearly leaderboard for several weeks now, and the Destiny score has pushed his annual tally to an incredible ₹3.41 Crores.

The other marquee tourney running on the site, the ₹4.25 Lakhs GTD UVS #18, brought in 575 hopefuls to post a guarantee-crushing ₹5.18 Lakhs prize pool. Starting at 11 PM, it took almost six hours before PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘FreeFlow’ Veeravalli came out on top to win the ₹1.01 Lakhs first-place cash prize. Mayank ‘desithug007’ Gupta finished runner-up for ₹64,067.

The cash-game specialist Veeravalli is an October Millionaire Champion, who had won the prestigious title for a career-best 17.8 Lakhs on October 19. He booked an impressive three deep runs last night that included a third-place finish in Adda52’s Maverick for 1.49 Lakhs and a seventh-place finish in La Luna for 13,000. With 2.63 Lakhs in total earnings last night, he currently sits on 2.52 Crores in lifetime online winnings.

Utsav ‘rannyOO6’ Taneja had a breakout run last night, winning two flagship titles that included PokerStars India’s Big Bubble Rush. The tourney played out amid 185 runners, to post an overlay of 37,500. Taneja championed the tourney to win 98,112 (including bounties), following a heads-up chop with PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘bhasm@sur1’ Arya (runner-up for 69,069).

Taneja`s smashing run saw him taking down PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride as well for ₹2.35 Lakhs. He collected ₹3.33 Lakhs in total earnings for the day – his second-best payday this year, improving his MTT record to ₹1.36 Crores.

The other ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourney on PokerStars India, the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars, logged in 262 entries to post an overlay of ₹41,500. After a little under eight hours of tournament play, Young Gun Anmol ‘Kaanchacheena’ Mehta championed the tourney to win ₹89,010 following a heads-up deal with ‘Burglar90’ (runner-up for ₹77,074).

Mehta ended a 50-day title drought with this win, pushing his online tally to ₹2.76 Crores. The victory also secured him the #4 spot on “Star Of the Month” – November Week# 1 leaderboard.

PokerStars India also found its first “Star of the Month” champion last night! Shailesh ‘ArithemeticMean’ Patel won the bragging rights of becoming the “Star of October” after defeating a field of 100 qualifiers in the October Finale. He has won ₹1.15 Lakhs in MTT tickets on the site along with a PokerStars India goodie bag. The runner-up Partho ‘SpidermanIndia’ Datta received ₹35,000 in MTT tickets.

Adda52’s signature Wednesday tourney, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Maverick, clocked in 565 entries to experience a shortfall of ₹2.15 Lakhs. After eight hours and fifteen minutes of play, mystery user ‘thepokerfaceblr’ came out on top to win ₹3.83 Lakhs for the outright victory. ‘anand1895’ finished runner-up for ₹2.18 Lakhs.

‘thepokerfaceblr’ is a former AOPS Blizzard winner with ₹74.21 Lakhs in recorded winnings on the site. The Maverick victory brought them their fourth-best score on Adda52, pulling them out of a loss to an overall profit of ₹2.11 Lakhs on the site.

Unlike the Maverick, the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna had to fill in only a marginal ₹4,760 overlay shortfall after registering 241 entries. ‘CHERRYPAJI’ was the last player standing in the tourney and won their best-recorded score on Adda52 worth ₹1.1 Lakhs, even as the former IOPC Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag ‘NormanBates’ Srivastava finished runner-up for ₹64,000.

PokerBaazi

The headline tourney on PokerBaazi was the 10 Lakhs GTD The Pride. Sporting a 3,300 entry buy-in, the event registered 237 entries to experience a significant 1.70 Lakhs shortfall. Once again, Utsav’ ranny006’ Taneja championed the tourney to win his second tourney title of the day for 2.35 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun ‘thepokeraja’ Mahesh finished runner-up for 1.65 Lakhs.
