Wednesday saw a similar response to Tuesday, with the vast majority of the day’s flagships falling prey to overlays. The day clearly belonged to the PokerGuru Ambassadors, with the team shipping the frontline tourneys across Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerBaazi.

PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat Arya was the day’s biggest winner as he took down Spartan Poker`s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Destiny for ₹6.63 Lakhs. His fellow Team Ambassador’s Naresh Veeravalli (won Maverick for ₹3.90 Lakhs) and Laksh Pal Singh (won The Pride for ₹2.21 Lakhs) dominated the other featured tourneys.

The remainder of the month promises to be full to the brim with action. Today marks the start of one of the most awaited online stops of 2021, the 10th IOPC edition on Spartan Poker. The inaugural APT 2021 Online Series India will be commencing its run on PokerBaazi tomorrow. Even Adda52 has launched its biggest-ever leaderboard race, the Adda52 Champions Leaderboard (ACL). Destiny, the site`s Wednesday flagship, ran with a ₹25 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night and registered 436 entries, overlaying ₹3.20 Lakhs. Winning his second tourney title of the year, PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘deranzzdd’ Arya navigated his way to the top to score a personal-best ₹6.63 Lakhs along with booking a berth in the Destiny 18.0 SnG Finale. Last night’s score has boosted Arya`s online scorecard to ₹4.41 Crores. The IOPC Contender champion, Guneet ‘GeeKay’ Kwatra, finished runner-up for ₹4.13 Lakhs. He also ran deep in Adda52’s Maverick, placing ninth for ₹22,500.

The ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD Mega Freeze logged in 79 entries to collect ₹2.79 Lakhs in the prize pool. Starting at 9:30 PM, it took almost six hours before the former IOPC Main Event champion Anurag ‘TheDarkKnightReturns’ Srivastava came out on top to win ₹56,380 following a three-way deal with Siddhanth ‘Liu Kang’ Kapoor (runner-up for ₹54,055) and Akshay ‘ONCE’ Pathak (3rd for ₹48,035). Srivastava’s lifetime scores have crossed ₹4.73 Crores after last night`s win.

PokerStars India, as always, ran its two ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourneys on Wednesday. The Night on Stars, the featured tourney of the day, logged in 232 entrants to overlay ₹1.31 Lakhs. The mystery user ‘LalaSaab’ shipped the tourney, recording their best finish on the site worth ₹1.13 Lakhs (₹60,882 in prize money, ₹52,122 in bounties). Shubham ‘theViperArena’ Chaudhary finished runner-up for ₹55,036 (₹44,999 in prize money, ₹10,037 in bounties).

The Big Bubble Rush played out amid 153 runners, overlaying ₹1.18 Lakhs. It was 2:14 AM on Thursday morning by the time site regular ‘Poker_Basilisk’ took down the tourney for ₹1.15 Lakhs (₹59,291 in prize money, ₹55,469 in bounties). PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘emperor457’ Veeravalli was the last player standing in the tourney and walked away ₹3.90 Lakhs richer. This is the second time the cash game reg has won the Maverick. A former AOPS Godfather champion, Veeravalli, now has ₹2.96 Crores in recorded lifetime earnings. The anonymous user ‘clinton_fern’ finished runner-up for ₹2.21 Lakhs.
