Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 has entered its fifth day, and it’s only going to get busier with PokerStars India’s India Championship of Online Poker (INCOOP) commencing its second edition today.

Arun Karthik walked away with the single-biggest payday on Monday as he overcame the eight-handed final table of FTS #8 Sunday Special to win ₹11.65 Lakhs. Haider Madraswala settled for a runner-up payday worth ₹7.38 Lakhs.

Even though he missed out on winning a second FTS title, Haider Madraswala placed one better in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show. He took down the Monday flagship for ₹1.66 Lakhs to make away with ₹9.06 Lakhs in Monday earnings.

The FTS #12 played down to a winner in Sachin Sharma, who locked up ₹1.79 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘chiku16’ (2nd for ₹1.71 Lakhs).

Dhaval Doshi shipped the Adda52-hosted Iron Man for a personal-best ₹2.04 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh Balodhi finished runner-up for ₹1.24 Lakhs.

Sunday’s FTS #7 champion, PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank Desai, went back-to-back by taking down FTS #10 for ₹1.25 Lakhs – his second FTS title on consecutive days.

Ashish Kumar topped PokerStars India`s Battle Royale for a site-best ₹1.12 Lakhs.

Shubham Agarwal, Nitin Tomar, Abhiroop Gupta, Bhavit Jain, Naman Aggarwal, and Dhirendra Kumar were the other Monday winners.

Here are the Monday highlights!

Spartan Poker

Monday reigned in another eventful day of FTS 3.0 events on Spartan Poker. Four events ran yesterday, including Day 1D of The Feast and the FTS #8 Sunday Special FT.

The ₹60 Lakhs GTD FTS #8 Sunday Special FT was hands down the day`s star attraction. Unfortunately, the FT action wasn`t live-streamed as initially planned. Nevertheless, it was a memorable Monday grind for Arun ‘Rohini Sharma’ Karthik. The former Destiny Jr Finale 2.0 champion was sixth in chips on the eight-handed FT and pulled off a fantastic run to win the FTS Gold Medallion for ₹11.65 Lakhs. Haider ‘Callmebabe’ Madraswala almost won his second FTS title at the series, with a runner-up finish for ₹7.38 Lakhs.

Despite the near-miss early in his Monday session, Haider Madraswala championed PokerBaazi’s The Big Show later in the day for ₹1.65 Lakhs, lapping up ₹9.06 Lakhs overall. Dhiraj Lakhotia placed runner-up for ₹1.16 Lakhs.

Haider Madraswala’s top scores include:

> 2nd in ₹FTS #8 Sunday Special for ₹11.65 Lakhs

> 1st in The Big Show for ₹1.65 Lakhs

The FTS #8 Sunday Special had registered 594 participants on Sunday, overlaying ₹60,000, and the top 55 places were paid.

Day 1D of the ₹1 Crore GTD FTS – The Feast drew 210 players, and only 24 survived the day’s onslaught. Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar (243,130), Shrey ‘Kingsb30’ Baj (116,490) and Sreeharsha ‘yUDdam’ Boneni (113,144) topped the day-end chip counts.

OVERLAY ALERT: The event has registered only 1,032 entries so far across four starting flights. There will likely be a landslide overlay in the event as it needs another 3,968 runners to enter the six remaining flights to break even.

The Monday FTS headliner, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS #11 Double Stack, attracted a guarantee-surpassing 635-entry field, making for a ₹25.40 Lakhs prize pool. The FTS – The Feast Day 1D chip leader Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar (9th for ₹46,228) bubbled the FT. Today, the eight-handed final table convenes at 5 PM and will be live-streamed from 6 PM onwards across various social media platforms, including PokerGuru`s Facebook page.

Archit Archit789’ Saraogi (11,180,599) holds a commanding chip lead on the FT and is the only player who will be returning with over 10 million in chips. Online phenom Mohammad ‘Cupid stunt’ Azhar (3,732,583) is a very distant second in chips, but the chip deficit won`t matter on his day. The user ‘Strangler’ (3,457,000), PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot (1,619,664), Dharambir ‘Baba1981’ Yadav (1,380,744), and Eshan ‘Ekapoor’ Kapoor (693,193) are others in contention for the FTS Gold Medallion.
