India’s grandest online MTT series, Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Crores GTD India Online Poker Championship, is just a day away! Even as players eagerly await the start of the mega fest, Tuesday delivered the usual tournament action with PokerStars India`s Winter Series after-party driving the action several notches higher!
Harsh Karanpuria emerged as the Tuesday chartbuster! The former IOPC #60 – The Elite champion converted a ₹385 satellite buy-in into an impressive ₹4.23 Lakhs payday after winning Adda52`s The Mint.
The former The Millionaire champion Ayush Garg shipped PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour for ₹3.58 Lakhs, beating Abhishek Paul (2nd for ₹2.51 Lakhs) heads-up.
Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble played down to a heads-up between Kanav Parwal (1st for ₹3.35 Lakhs) & Sanket Arora (2nd for ₹3.14 Lakhs).
PokerStars India`s “Star of the Month” – February 2021, Armaan Kochhar emerged as the biggest winner on the site. He came out on top in the Winter Series#49 Bounty Builder HR to win ₹2.66 Lakhs and made away with over ₹2.96 Lakhs across four ITM finishes. Nitin Arora came second for ₹1.44 Lakhs.
After four close misses (runner-up finishes), Siddharth Gangwar finally clinched his first title of the year as he crossed the finish line in Spartan Poker’s The Race for ₹1.29 Lakhs. He accumulated ₹1.87 Lakhs in total winnings. Gangwar chopped The Race title heads-up with Aurkodyuti Das (2nd for ₹1.15 Lakhs)!
Mohak Kapoor kept his title-winning spree going as he took down PokerBaazi’s SPRINT for ₹1.62 Lakhs, picking up his eighth title this month. ‘bungakat’ came second for ₹1.13 Lakhs.
Sunday’s Winter Series Main Event champion Daniel Rymbei carried the winning form to the after-party, winning the Winter Series#51 Uppercut Mini for ₹1.01 Lakhs. ‘The first women’ came second for ₹81,322.
Pawan Tez, Karan Sitlani, and Parth Shah were the other prominent winners of the day!

Spartan Poker
The next 18 days promise to unleash electrifying action on Spartan Poker, with the site all geared up to host the massive ₹30 Crores GTD IOPC starting tomorrow! In the lead-up to the flagship series, the site ran the Mega Stack (Millionaire Bubble) yesterday that returned with an increased ₹18 Lakhs prize pool guarantee. The 8 PM event saw 688 players ponying up ₹3,300 to enter, generating a ₹20.64 Lakhs prize pool. Last week’s Wednesday Vibes winner Kanav ‘slickooo’ Parwal clinched his second title of the year and a ₹3.35 Lakhs payday after striking a heads-up deal with Sanket ‘BANK$Y’ Arora (2nd for ₹3.14 Lakhs).
The top 63 places got paid, and Ankit ‘ON_MY_MAC’ Bajaj money-bubbled the event in 64th place to win a free ticket to Day 1A of the upcoming The Millionaire.
The second Tuesday marquee, ₹6.50 Lakhs GTD The Race, also played down to a heads-up deal. The ₹1,650 buy-in event registered a 510-strong entry field, and only 47 among them took a bite out of the ₹7.65 Lakhs prize pool. After an impressive four runner-up finishes earlier this month, including a second-place in Monday’s ReCharge, Siddharth ‘cooking_nuts’ Gangwar finally got his hands on the elusive title in The Race for ₹1.29 Lakhs. Aurkodyuti ‘ad87’ Das collected ₹1.15 Lakhs in second place, courtesy of the heads-up deal.

PokerBaazi continues to ride high on the success of the inaugural PokerBaazi Classics, with its marquee tournaments consistently obliterating their guarantees. The ₹12 Lakhs GTD The Endeavour also blew the advertised guarantee out of the park – going over for more than 50% after 526 entrants bought in for ₹3,850 – and 63 of them got to share the ₹18.41 Lakhs prize pool. The former The Millionaire winner Ayush ‘proman502’ Garg is no stranger to winning flagships and took down The Endeavour for the third title last night for ₹3.58 Lakhs, bringing himself on the edge of the ₹5 Crore Club. Abhishek ‘Theheisenberg’ Paul placed runner-up for ₹2.51 Lakhs, posting his fourth-best career finish.

The former Game Changer runner-up finisher Mohak ‘tiltin’ Kapoor walked away with the lion’s share of the prize money worth ₹1.62 Lakhs after besting ‘bungakat’ (2nd for ₹1.13 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

Given the overwhelming response to the Winter Series, PokerStars India rolled out the ₹1.40 Crores GTD Winter Series Afterparty yesterday! Day 1 of the six-day series had seven events handing out titles!
Last night, the top draw on the site was the Winter Series#49 Bounty Builder HR. The ₹12 Lakhs GTD event drew a reg-laden field of 183 contenders, collecting ₹12.81 Lakhs in the prize pool. After over seven hours of non-stop action, the “Star of the Month” – February 2021 Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar walked away with the title and ₹2.66 Lakhs in prize money (includes ₹1.52 Lakhs in bounties). Nitin ‘Checkshoveit’ Arora finished runner-up for ₹1.44 Lakhs (includes ₹60,675 in bounties).

Harsh ‘harsh20’ Karanpuria had a dream run last night as he converted a ₹385 buy-in into a whopping ₹4.23 Lakhs payday. The former IOPC #60 – The Elite winner, Karanpuria, bested ‘void191’ (2nd for ₹2.46 Lakhs) heads-up en-route to winning his first-ever The Mint title.
‘void191’ also final-tabled Voyager, finishing 8th for ₹9,500.
Kovid ‘KovidS’ Saraswat (5th for ₹88,200), Vishal ‘vishalmaharaj’ Maharaj (6th for ₹61,740), and Guruprasad ‘guruprasad_gupta’ Gupta (7th for ₹44,100) also FT-ed The Mint.
