Monday’s online poker tournament action may have been slower than usual, with most featured tournaments reporting overlays, but PokerBaazi’s PLO Championship 2.0 managed to provide some excitement by hosting four PLO tournaments alongside other regular marquee events.

With PokerStars India’s ‘5 Year Anniversary Fiesta’ starting its Anniversary Special boosted guaranteed tournaments from tomorrow, April 26, and PokerBaazi’s ₹3+ Crores GTD India Micro Poker Series Gold Edition kicking off on April 30, the online poker action is expected to pick up soon.

Despite the slow start to the week, Himanshu Arora, the first The MoneyMaker champion of the year, made a significant impact last night. Arora made it to two final tables and cashed a third event, bagging away the day’s best ₹2.73 Lakhs in total earnings. Although he almost won PokerBaazi’s PC#19 (PLO-5), he scored a better ₹2.05 Lakhs in second place after striking a heads-up with Anubhav Ray (1st for ₹2.04 Lakhs).

Dhaval Doshi finished #2 behind Himanshu Arora in total earnings, scoring ₹2.27 Lakhs from three deep finishes. Doshi made a big breakthrough in Adda52’s Iron Man, winning the Monday flagship for the third time for ₹2.05 Lakhs – his third title this month.

Saturday’s PC#11 (PLO-6) champion Neeraj Kumar hauled up 2.39 Lakhs from seven deep runs! The #3 ranked player on the annual TLB leaderboard clinched his second PLO Championship title in PokerBaazi’s PC#17 (PLO-5) for 1.22 Lakhs. Akshay Gupta finished runner-up for ₹78,146.

The three-time India Turbo Masters title winner Satyam Verma took down PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for the second time, netting 1.79 Lakhs.

Abhimanyu Mittal conquered Spartan Poker`s The CashMaker – Triple Chance for ₹1.69 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with the user ‘noobnoob’ (2nd for ₹1.46 Lakhs).

The top-ranked player on the annual TLB leaderboard, Mohak Kapoor, made a sparkling Monday run with 1.14 Lakhs in total earnings. He scored a thumping victory in Adda52’s Nighttide DST Adda (1st for 31,209), finished runner-up in Voyager (2nd for ₹40,625), and FT-ed PokerBaazi`s The Big Show (8th for ₹33,735)!

Jimmy Arora posted his first victory in PokerBaazi’s ongoing PLO Championship (won his third PC title) with a victory march in PokerBaazi`s PC#20 (PLO-6) for 1.23 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with ‘Amank01′ (2nd for 1.03 Lakhs).

Friday’s The Big Bash champion, PokerStars India reg ‘nirwair’ shipped Eliminator [8-Max] for ₹93,177, with ‘manth_shravs,’ banking ₹61,811 in second place.
