PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh outmaneuvered promising talent Anuj ‘brockLesnar95’ Yadav (runner-up for ₹3.30 Lakhs) heads-up to secure the title and the top prize of ₹4.70 Lakhs.

Another PokerGuru Ambassador who ran hot yesterday was Devvrat ‘flopCheck’ Arya. The elusive poker player bested a field of 270 entries (161 unique and 109 re-entries) in PokerBaazi’s PMVS#7 MegaStack ₹10 Lakhs GTD to win ₹2.20 Lakhs in first-place prize money. The UFC KO Series at PokerStars India has been pulling in the crowds, and last night, the UFC KO Series 28 Highroller ₹25 Lakhs GTD was the marquee tourney on the site. Registering 208 entries (117 unique and 91 re-entries), the event logged in a prize pool of ₹28.37 Lakhs. Up-and-coming player Joey ‘inisme’ Saha shipped the tourney for a colossal ₹7.37 Lakhs payday, even as online reg Sandeep ‘effuno007’ Varma RS came in second for ₹3.15 Lakhs.

Over at Adda52, the AOPS, aka Adda52 Online Poker Series, played host to the AOPS Godfather ₹35 Lakhs GTD yesterday. Another big-ticket event on Adda52 this Thursday was the AOPS Freeze Finale ₹25 Lakhs GTD. ‘pooltime741’ topped the field after defeating PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘d00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan heads-up to win ₹5.33 Lakhs in prize money. Wadhawan locked in a runners-up payout of ₹3.44 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, and young talent Anuj Yadav, all put in blistering runs last night with two final table finishes each. The second FT finish for each of them saw Wadhwan finishing fourth in Spartan Poker’s Ultron for ₹1.63 Lakhs, Sood placing fifth in PokerBaazi’s The Summit to win ₹1.18 Lakhs, and Yadav taking fourth place in PokerStars India’s Highroller for ₹1.76 Lakhs.
