Wednesday also marked the start of India`s biggest online tournament, the ₹5 Crores GTD #BBE ENDBOSS! PokerBaazi ran the first of five starting flights of the ENDBOSS last night, with 123 players advancing to Day 2.
Kanav Parwal emerged as Wednesday’s top scorer. He took down Adda52’s Maverick for ₹3.90 Lakhs, grabbing his first title in four months. The #1 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, playing from Nepal, secured a runner-up payday of ₹1.90 Lakhs.
The IOPC JULY 2021– United champion Piyush Jain captured Spartan Poker’s Wednesday headliner, Destiny, for ₹2.92 Lakhs and a seat in the Destiny 23.0 SnG Finale after striking a heads-up deal with poker streamer Nitin Rawat (2nd for ₹2.65 Lakhs).
The sports entrepreneur settled in Dubai, Siddharth Pandey, pulled out one of his most prolific runs of the year, winning two headline tournaments for ₹3.81 Lakhs overall. The two-time BSS SuperStack champion took down PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2.72 Lakhs and PokerStars India’s Night on Stars for ₹1.05 Lakhs.
Hemant Meena was another trailblazer on PokerBaazi! He won the (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹1.25 Lakhs and chopped the title with Ankit Khattar (2nd for ₹1.23 Lakhs). He also crossed the finish line in the super-fast Hyper SPRINT (₹48,300) and cashed another four events, netting ₹1.90 Lakhs overall.
This week`s Sunday Highroller champion, Young Gun Karan Radia, came out on top in Adda52`s La Luna to collect ₹1.10 Lakhs, picking up his second title this week.
Puneet Sachan bagged his first title in almost four months in PokerBaazi’s Daily SPRINT, netting ₹1.05 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with Aamir Husain (2nd for ₹1.04 Lakhs).
Poker streamer Animesh Thakur was another player with two title victories to his name. He took down Spartan Poker’s Night Rider – Monster Stack (₹42,000) and PokerBaazi`s Daily Morning SPRINT (₹14,479), rounding up ₹58,486 in Wednesday earnings!
