The Wednesday MTTs packed quite the punch with two inaugural stops – Spartan Pokers ‘Winter Celebration Series and Adda52s ‘Series of Legends’ steering the mid-week action!

Young Gun Kanchan Sharma shipped the biggest guaranteed event of the day, Spartan Poker`s WCS #62 Destiny for 6.62 Lakhs, winning the flagship title for the second time this year (third overall)!

Juli Kumari has been crushing the ‘Series of Legends’ flagships. Following through on her runner-up finish in Tuesday’s The Courageous Arjan, she went the distance in Adda52s Minissha Money Bag last night to collect ₹4.01 Lakhs. Nitesh Katiyar, who had placed sixth in The Courageous Arjan the day before, settled for a runner-up payday worth ₹2.28 Lakhs.

The former IOPC – The Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag Srivastava kept his December scorecard ticking as he took down PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2.51 Lakhs. Srivastava has moved up to #5 in the December leaderboard rankings.

Vishal Ojha was the last player standing in Spartan Poker`s WCS #64 Wednesday Vibes and won 1.55 Lakhs.

Young Gun Karan Radia came out on top in Pokerstars Indias Night on Stars to win ₹1.06 Lakhs, just as Ram Kakkar placed runner-up for ₹81,665.

Himanshu Aggarwal, Shashank Mehrotra, Chandan Arora, Rehmat Singh Walia, Aditya Parashar, Shivkesh Meena, Clinton Tavares, Mohit Kumar Singh, and Aryan Singh were the day’s other prominent winners.

Spartan Poker

The featured event on Day 8 of Spartan Poker`s Winter Celebration Series (WCS), the ₹25 Lakhs GTD WCS #62 Destiny, was the biggest guaranteed event running across the top poker platforms. The 5,550 buy-in event logged in a 468-entry field, filling in ₹1.60 Lakhs in overlays. It took under eight hours of non-stop action for Young Gun Kanchan ‘Midge Maisel’ Sharma to walk away with the title and the 6.62 Lakhs up-top.

The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars was PokerStars India`s featured Wednesday event. The ₹2,750 buy-in event recorded 220 entries, collecting ₹5.50 Lakhs in the prize pool. The event ran from 8 PM to 2:46 AM, and Young Gun Karan ‘Annihilator’ Radia (opted out of our tracking) was the last player standing and won ₹1.06 Lakhs. Ram ‘TheLagLawyer’ Kakkar came second for ₹81,665.

Karan Radia had won at least three titles last month, and last night`s win was his second flagship victory in December.

Chandan ‘RunBarryRun’ Arora took down the ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush for ₹46,284 (includes ₹29,625 in bounties), and ‘shanesmarty’ finished runner-up for ₹27,930 (includes ₹11,234 in bounties).

Wednesday marked Day 3 of Adda52`s ‘Series of Legends,’ and the day`s star attraction was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Minissha Money Bag – named after Adda52’s celebrity ambassador, Minissha Lamba. A total of 583 hopefuls (includes 264 re-entries) ponied up ₹3,000 to join the action, generating a guarantee-smashing ₹15.74 Lakhs prize pool. The top 63 got paid. The former The Ballers champion and Tuesday’s The Courageous Arjan runner-up finisher, Juli ‘Lily8’ Kumari, championed the event for ₹4.01 Lakhs, grabbing her second top finish on consecutive days. The Courageous Arjan sixth-place finisher Nitesh ‘nitkat’ Katiyar finished runner-up for ₹2.28 Lakhs.

Like previous two SOL events, the Minissha Money Bag featured a ₹5K bounty on Minissha Lamba and Neeraj “neeraj2828” Bajaj walked away with the bounty prize for eliminating her from the event.

Running alongside the Minissha Money Bag was Day 1C of the ₹1 Crore GTD Patni Millionaire. Only 11 from the starting field of 150 runners survived the day`s play. The Minissha Money Bag eighth-place finisher Karan ‘gogikaran’ Malhotra (551,343) topped the day-end chip counts, with PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘GigaaBet’ Bajaj (423,940) and Mayank ‘AreyBetaRaise’ Maruka (272,079) carrying forward the other top stacks.

The ₹5,500 buy-in event has filled in 467 entries across the first three starting flights and has five more flights to run before the Day 2 Finale on Sunday (10 PM on December 19).

Khelo365 user ‘DanCingRose47’ defeated ‘PROTECT7’ heads-up to win the 25K GTD 6 Feet Under Deepstack PLO for 9,250. The latter collected 6,250 for their runner-up finish.
