The Wednesday MTT action was nothing short of the weekend mayhem, with Spartan Poker’s Freedom Celebration Series adding the extra punch to the regular flagships running across the other platforms!

Karan Kapur was the day’s standout winner and topped the Wednesday charts with over 6.32 Lakhs in total winnings. The IOPC June 2022 – PLO High Roller champion went on a tear last night, taking down Spartan Poker’s FCS #57 High – Wednesday Celebration for 5.85 Lakhs. Anish Arora, who came second in the FCS #48 High Tuesday Celebration the day before, once again missed out on the glory of winning his second FCS Celebration flagship, collecting 3.71 Lakhs as the runner-up.

Last week’s Wednesday High Roller champion Armaan Kochhar drove up the Wednesday action again, taking down Spartan Poker’s FCS #60 PLO High Roller for 4.61 Lakhs. He chopped the title heads-up with the APT Summer Festival Hanoi – Main Event third-place finisher Ankit Jajodia (2nd for 4.56 Lakhs). Jajodia made another podium finish in PokerBaazi’s The Pride (3rd for 1.32 Lakhs), netting 5.99 Lakhs on the back of three deep runs!

PokerGuru Ambassador Advait Rajguru bounced back with a thumping victory in Adda52′s Maverick, scoring ₹3.82 Lakhs (his first title victory in almost seven weeks). Tuesday`s FCS #45 Mid champion Varun Meena settled for a runner-up finish worth ₹2.17 Lakhs. Meena made up for the near-miss by shipping Spartan Poker’s FCS #63 Mid 4 Card PLO for ₹1.16 Lakhs, banking ₹3.33 Lakhs overall.

‘BlindMan’sBluff’ (Won FCS #55 – Mid for 64,543), TLB crusher Neeraj Kumar (Won FCS #61 – Mid Turbo for 64,391), ‘KevinPieterson’ (Won FCS #58 – Mid – PKO for 67,621), Himanshu Kataria (Won FCS #56 – Low for 42,300), Avinash Kumar (Won FCS #62 – Low for 30,762), and ‘Getsuga’ (Won FCS #59 – Low – Boost for 18,35) won the other Freedom Celebration Series marquees on Wednesday.

The #7 ranked player of the year, Siddharth Gangwar, extended his title-winning spree to a third consecutive day by taking down PokerBaazi’s The Pride for 2.93 Lakhs. He piled on another seven ITM finishes last night, altogether adding ₹4.21 Lakhs.

PokerStars India reg Deepkant Agarwal won the Night on Stars title for the second time yesterday for 89,207 following an even-heads-up deal with Lavesh Meena (2nd for 89,207)!

Mampi Biswas took down MPL Poker’s Wednesday Bonanza for 70,310, beating ‘kirukku6’ (2nd for 48,980) heads-up.

Vinay Gaitonde, Puneet Dua, Vinay B, Rahul Melwani, Deepkant Agarwal, Kashish Gupta, Dinesh Singh, Ruhaan Malhotra, Surbhit Grover, and Ritvik Sabherwal won the other Wednesday marquees.

A week into the FCS, the POY race frontrunner Young Gun Anuj ‘br0ckLesnar95’ Yadav (2,263 TLB points) is still the player sitting on top of the ₹10 Lakhs added FCS High leaderboard. Last night`s FCS #57 High Wednesday Celebration runner-up finisher Anish ‘TheProtagonit’ Arora (2,110 TLB points) collected enough TLB points to climb to #2, displacing PokerGuru Ambassador Rony ‘Eunseom176’ Chowdhury (1,748 TLB points), who dropped to #3 in the standings.

The top order of the ₹6 Lakhs added FCS Mid leaderboard remained unchanged from Tuesday with Sanchit ‘scofield1210’ Nag (4,433 TLB points), ‘BlindMan’sBluff’ (3,718 TLB points) and Paras ‘Jhukega nahi $ala’ Jain (3,089 TLB points) occupying the top three positions.

Like the FCS Mid leaderboard, the top order in the FCS Low leaderboard also maintained the status quo yesterday, with Sumit K ‘Newsharkkintown’ Dogra (2,862 TLB points) on top, followed by ‘JULI1LLB’ (2,499 TLB points) and ‘Mndka2.0’ (2,483 TLB points).
