It was an action-packed Wednesday with Spartan Poker’s FTS 3.0, PokerStars India’s INCOOP, and PokerBaazi’s IMPS, keeping players across stakes busy.

Karan Mehta topped the Wednesday charts after overcoming a stacked FT in the FTS#14 Challenger on Spartan Poker for a career-best ₹7.72 Lakhs payday. The three-time The Summit champion Harsh Dembla placed runner-up for ₹4.86 Lakhs.

Vikash Kumar championed Spartan Poker’s FTS#18 for a personal-best (on Spartan Poker) ₹4.80 Lakhs.

Ankur Sehgal took down Adda52’s Maverick for ₹3.82 Lakhs. Mohit Dhingra came second.

The #13 ranked player of the year, Sagar C, came out on top in PokerStars India’s INCOOP – 18 Night on Stars for ₹1.82 Lakhs beating Kunal Yadav heads-up.

PokerGuru Ambassador Akshay Kapoor shipped PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2.57 Lakhs.

Kaji Samsudeen walked away with the FTS#16 title, collecting a personal-best (on Spartan Poker) ₹1.44 Lakhs. Bhanu Prakash KC finished runner-up.

Vishal Singh, Rishab Malik, Siddharth Pandey, Karan Malhotra, Sandeep Varma, Murali Mohan, Nishant Pandey, Aryaman Arora, Basant Kumar Singh & Sharad Haridasan won the other marquee events.

Spartan Poker’s FTS 3.0 had four events running on Wednesday alongside the final table of the ₹40 Lakhs GTD FTS#14 Challenger.

On Tuesday, FTS #14 Challenger attracted 666 participants, filling in ₹6.70 Lakhs in overlays. The top 71 places benefitted from the value on offer, with each assured at least ₹15,200. The eight-handed final table resumed at 5 PM yesterday. Karan ‘shanky2507’ Mehta was second in chips on the FT and eliminated four players on the final day to win the fifth FTS 3.0 marquee for a career-best ₹7.72 Lakhs. The three-time The Summit champion Harsh ‘aaja maal phuka’ Dembla came second for ₹4.86 Lakhs.

The IOPC – Legends champion Amit ‘Kavipri’ Suresh Gehani will be returning today as the FT chip leader with a stack of 2,571,911. Besting the 569-player field was Sunday’s Adda52 Millions sixth-place finisher Ankur ‘Aceleration’ Sehgal, who won the ₹3.82 Lakhs top prize after beating Mohit ‘Gandiaa’ Dhingra (2nd for ₹2.17 Lakhs) heads-up.

Sehgal had a fantastic run in August, scoring three standout scores, starting with a third-place finish in the APT #35 Super Highroller for a personal-best ₹9.30 Lakhs. He also placed fifth in the WPT India Super High Roller for ₹8.29 Lakhs before taking down his first WPT trophy in the WPT Gladiator for ₹7.88 Lakhs. Sehgal’s Maverick win is his first title win of September and boosted his lifetime winnings to ₹2.70 Crores.

The ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna found a winner in Monday’s Nighttide DST Adda champion Vishal ‘Mitsen’ Singh. Singh overcame the 231-entry field, eventually beating Nitin ‘Bigbluffs’ Arora (2nd for ₹64,000) heads-up to grab the top prize of ₹1.10 Lakhs. The IOPC Legends champion, Amit ‘Kavipri’ Gehani, was among the 440 runners who ponied up ₹16,500 to enter the event. He ran past a host of onerous regs to bag the overnight chip lead with a stack of 2,571,911.

Not far behind Gehani is Arunkumar ‘denoi’ Singh (2,044,712), the only other player with a 200K-plus stack on the FT. The #3 ranked player on the FTS 3.0 leaderboard standings Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar (1,610,517), is third in chips, making him a likely contender to move up further in the standings.
