With the weekend closing in, the MTT turnouts on Thursday were encouraging, and the regs dominated most of the day’s flagships!
Young Gun Karan Radia (opted out of our tracking) single-handedly obliterated the Thursday flagships on Spartan Poker, winning the two biggest guaranteed tournaments running on the site for ₹13.40 Lakhs. He won the Thursday High Roller (6-Max) for ₹9.10 Lakhs and the Trending Thursday for ₹4.30 Lakhs (heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Chandan Arora).
Last week`s The Ballers winner Akshat Sharma finally clinched the elusive Godfather title on Godfather for ₹6.12 Lakhs (his second-best career finish)! The former The Millionaire champion Rohan Bhasin finished runner-up for ₹3.62 Lakhs.
Returning to the grind after a well-deserved break post his smashing IOPC leaderboard chase, Mohit Mehta raked in a hefty ₹5.06 Lakhs last night. He chopped PokerBaazi’s The Summit with Harsh Dembla (₹3.70 Lakhs) for ₹3.74 Lakhs and made two other ITM runs, including a fifth-place finish in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹1.25 Lakhs.
Harsh Bubna set the virtual felts ablaze last night. Coming in hot after winning the Maverick on Wednesday, the poker reg from Kolkata FT-ed three flagship tournaments (including a title win), banking ₹3.76 Lakhs overall. He won Pocket52’s PPC flagship of the day, PPC#24 Pocket Queens, for ₹1.04 Lakhs, along with top finishes in PokerStars India’s Highroller (2nd for ₹1.63 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi’s The Summit (5th for ₹1.10 Lakhs).
PokerGuru Ambassadors won two titles yesterday, and bringing the team its best score of the day was this week`s IOPC #127 – Sunday Prime winner, PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan, who took down PokerStars India’s Highroller (On-time Rake Refund) for ₹2.10 Lakhs.
