Coming back to the Friday highlights, Young Gun Karan ‘Majestic’ Radia was the day`s biggest winner. The long-time MTT pro bested a reg-laden 350-entry field in Spartan Poker’s The Elite to claim the single-biggest score of the day worth ₹7.40 Lakhs. He placed third in the Futuristic for ₹82,800 and fifth in the PLO BOOST Monster for ₹8,844, collecting a hefty ₹8.30+ Lakhs overall. Finishing second behind Radia in The Elite was Abhishek Pandey, who won ₹4.98 Lakhs.
Last week`s Maverick champion Armaan Kochhar came out on top in the DOPT – PLO Special for ₹4.71 Lakhs, also placing fifth in The Elite for ₹2.25 Lakhs. Kochhar ended a hugely satisfying Friday night grind with over ₹7 Lakhs in total winnings.
Online crusher Sagar Choudhury won PokerBaazi`s The Weekly HighRoller for the second time for ₹4.48 Lakhs.
The #1 ranked player of the week, PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul Raj, picked up a third-place score in The Elite for ₹3.51 Lakhs, supplementing that with two more FT finishes for almost ₹4 Lakhs in total winnings.
Rising Star Aman Parakh continued his hot run to post eight ITM finishes that included winning The Futuristic for ₹1.89 Lakhs. He added ₹2.80 Lakhs in total winnings.
Last week’s Summer Series Uppercut champion Tanmaya Sahoo defended the title to win ₹2.37 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker
Spartan Poker’s second The Millionaire edition of June ran Day 1B on Friday. The event added 332 entries, and 44 among them survived through to Day 2. The reigning “PokerGuru Star of the Week” Gokul ‘Super Kings’ Raj (230,655) grabbed the end of Day 1A chip lead with Rishab ‘NoChanc3’ Malik (170,285) and former Millionaire champion Saurabh ‘darksider’ Rohila (165,190) carrying forward the other top stacks.
Counting the 303 entrants from Day 1A, The Millionaire has filled in 635 entries already. There are three more flights to go before Day 2 on Sunday.
Spartan Poker’s The Elite has always been a runaway hit with players. However, with two flagship MTT stops running across other sites saw its player turnout dropping by almost 42 entries since last week. Nevertheless, the 350-entry field was enough to surpass the ₹35 Lakhs prize pool guarantee. Seasoned MTT reg and our former Young Gun Karan ‘Majestic’ Radia came out on top in the Friday night flagship to collect the single-biggest score of the day worth ₹7.40 Lakhs. Abhishek ‘abhi23451’ Pandey placed runner-up for ₹4.98 Lakhs.
Karan Radia placed third in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Futuristic for ₹82,800 and posted a few other ITM finishes, lapping up over ₹8.30 Lakhs in total winnings.
The top-ranked player of the week, PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul Raj, placed third in The Elite for ₹3.51 Lakhs. He made ITM finishes in a few other events, adding almost ₹4 Lakhs in cumulative earnings. He currently boasts over ₹5.22 Crores in lifetime online earnings.

Aman Parakh has been on a hot run this week. On Wednesday, he championed the Turbo and followed that with an incredible 13 ITM finishes on Thursday. He cashed in eight events yesterday, adding over ₹2.80 Lakhs.

Vaibhav ‘AllinPavBhaji’ Temani (Won UVS #27 PLO PKO ₹85K GTD for ₹20,776), ‘DreamBoat’ (Won UVS #25 KO 75K GTD for ₹12,637), ‘gingu1989’ (Won UVS #26 PKO ₹60K GTD for ₹12,137) and Somesh ‘nao’ Sekhar Sharma (Won UVS #28 KO ₹1.15 Lakhs GTD for ₹27,663) took down the other UVS titles on Friday.

Incidentally, the event registered 313 entries, the precise turnout as last week, collecting the same ₹12.44 Lakhs prize pool. And surprise surprise! Walking away with the title was none other than last week’s champion Tanmaya ‘tks5432’ Sahoo, who won ₹2.37 Lakhs (includes ₹1.34 Lakhs in bounties), with ‘machheley’ settling for a runner-up finish worth ₹1.23 Lakhs (includes ₹20,281 in bounties).
Tanmay Sahoo had won last week`s Uppercut title for ₹2.65 Lakhs and currently boasts ₹70.76 Lakhs in recorded winnings on PokerStars India (₹16.15 Lakhs in net profits).
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Summer Series – 106 Battle Royale filled in ₹10,000 in overlays after 196 runners registered to play. It was 4:03 AM by the time Tanmaya ‘RTDi27’ Gupta shipped the event to collect a personal-best ₹1.14 Lakhs (includes ₹69,316 in bounties). Online MTT reg Sagar ‘sagarpupul’ Choudhury ran past the competition to win the title for ₹4.48 Lakhs. ‘jaideepmanocha’ finished second for ₹3.14 Lakhs.
Sagar Choudhury has won The event once before on January 1 for 3.64 Lakhs. One of the more consistent MTT winners, he is ranked #11 on the annual leaderboard with ₹1.42 Crores in recorded winnings this year.

PokerBaazi`s 9 PM tourney, the 6-Max Holdem Boost DST, has become a hit among the MTT regulars and could see the site increasing the guarantee of the event soon considering the increasing interest. Last night again, a sizable 282-entry field helped generate a ₹2.82 Lakhs prize pool. The top 36 places got paid, and walking away with the lion`s share of the prize money was the DOPT Warm-Up champion and Monday’s The Big Show winner Aditya ‘adit11’ Kulkarni, who shipped the event for an impressive eighth time, netting ₹62,294. The user ‘brv07’ placed runner-up for ₹43,710.
Tuesday’s The Endeavour champion Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur was another big winner. He went on a rampage in the late-night marquees on the site, winning the midnight tourney, the Turbo ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD for ₹45,830, marking his 13th title victory of the year. He also placed runner-up in the ₹1 Lakh GTD PLO Boost Monster for ₹17,226.
Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh (Won PLO Boost Monster ₹1 Lakh GTD for ₹26,850), and ‘CMBharat’ (Won Night DST ₹1 Lakh GTD for ₹47,180) won the other PokerBaazi marquees.

Day 1B of the DOPT Main Event was the biggest Friday night draw on Adda52. The second starting flight clocked in 255 entries, and after the stipulated 29 levels of play, 33 players bagged a stack for Day 2. The top two stacks were top regs, bracelet winner Abhinav ‘checkshove’ Iyer (306,021), and the May ‘The Millionaire’ champion Deepak ‘bothras’ Bothra (266,833).
The ₹1.50 Crore GTD DOPT Event has clocked in 505 entries already with another four starting flights left to run. All the Day 2 survivors reconvene for Day 2 at 9:45 PM on Sunday.
There were 10 DOPT titles up for grabs on Friday, and the most prominent of them was the ₹17 Lakhs GTD DOPT – PLO Special. Starting an hour after Day 1B of the Main Event, the event logged in 266 entries to collect ₹18.14 Lakhs in the prize pool. PokerStars India`s “Star of the Month” – February Armaan ‘tandavam’ Kochhar was the last player standing and won ₹4.71 Lakhs with ‘YOGYA3011’ placing second for ₹2.81 Lakhs.

The showstopper event at the Deltin Online Poker Tour (DOPT), the ₹1.5 Crores GTD DOPT Main Event, witnessed 26 players from a starting field of 255 Day 1B entrants qualifying for Day 2.
India’s first solo WSOP bracelet winner, Abhinav ‘checkshove’ Iyer (520,773), was the end-of-day chip leader and has also taken the overall chip lead.
Vaibhav ‘alienrobot’ Sharma (325,073), PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘Gigaabet’ Bajaj (216,568), Harjas ‘jasthegreat’ Wadhwa (204,464), Karann ‘ICMsucks’ Dembla (190,071), Shalabh ‘shalabhpoker’ Bansal (168,642), and PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘arjan30’ Singh Chadha (158,941) were the known names on the top 10 survivor’s list.
The DOPT Main Event has registered 505 entries (Day 1A – 250 and Day 1B – 255) so far, with four flights left to go before Day 2 on Sunday.

Spartan Poker`s signature Friday MTT, the ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Elite, featuring an ₹11,000 entry buy-in, managed to exactly break even on the back of 350 contestants. The 9:30 PM went on till the wee hours of Monday morning, and the top 31 places boarded the money bus.
Karan ‘Majestic’ Radia was the last player standing and walked away with a winner’s paycheque worth ₹7.40 Lakhs. Radia had a trailblazing run last night as he placed third in Futuristic for ₹82,800 and added a few other ITM finishes, lapping up ₹8.30 Lakhs overall.
Abhishek ‘abhi23451’ Pandey had a memorable Friday night grind as well, as he placed runner-up in The Elite to win a personal-best ₹4.98 Lakhs!
Abhishek Pandey, who was in high spirits last night, was apparently down to just ₹15,000 on Spartan Poker, decided to take a punt in the ₹11,000 entry buy-in High Roller. And voila, from ₹1.71 Lakhs in net losses on the site, he is now sitting on ₹3 Lakhs in profits.

Defending his title from last week Tanmaya ‘tks5432’ Sahoo overcame the competition to win ₹2.37 Lakhs (includes ₹1.34 Lakhs in bounties). ‘machheley’ locked in the runner-up payday worth ₹1.23 Lakhs (includes ₹20,281 in bounties) payout.
Tanmaya Sahoo now has ₹70.76 Lakhs in recorded winnings on PokerStars India (₹16.15 Lakhs in net profits).

Last week`s top scorer Anirban ‘nocluewho’ D Das came close to claiming his second Summer Series title (his third title of the month), placing runner-up in Battle Royale for ₹61,887 (includes ₹16,895 in bounties).
