With the weekend fast approaching, it was another action-packed night on the virtual felts last night with MTT beasts Kartik Ved, Abhishek Rathod, Raghav Bansal, Manish Lakhotia and Kunal Patni taking down the Thursday marquees. Here is a quick recap.
Spartan Poker
The Spartan Poker headliner, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Ultron, was championed by well-known poker pro and MTT coach Abhishek ‘nbc345’ Rathod who ran past a field of 612 entries and eventually beat out ‘CH@MP’ (runner-up for ₹3.01 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹4.74 Lakhs. The ₹4,400 buy-in tourney registered a guarantee-smashing ₹24.48 Lakhs in the prize pool that was distributed among the top 55 finishers.
The final table was replete with MTT regs like Raghav ‘thatssosick’ Bansal (3rd for ₹2.17 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot (5th for ₹1.39 Lakhs), Vaibhav ‘AllinPavBhaji’ Temani (6th for ₹1.07 Lakhs), Priyank ‘Piko’ Kothari (7th for ₹79,804), Sumit ‘Sands Myth’ Sapra (8th for ₹57,772) and Siddartha ‘siddyk20’ Khandelwal (9th for ₹46,756).
The ₹6 Lakhs GTD Knockout attracted a 258-entry field. Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia outlasted all others, including his heads-up opponent Vaibhav ‘Nikka Zaildar’ Sharma (runner-up for ₹1.01 Lakhs) to win ₹1.49 Lakhs in prize money.
M ‘star.pkr95’ Khan took down the Monster Stack ₹4.5 Lakhs GTD for a ₹1.06 Lakhs payday.
PokerBaazi
The ₹8,250 buy-in The Summit logged in 297 entries, easily surpassing its ₹20 Lakhs prize pool guarantee with a collection of ₹22.28 Lakhs. An unidentified player ‘yusufkh’ came out on top in the tourney to walk away with ₹4.92 Lakhs in prize money after defeating ‘DEEPAKALLIN’ (runner-up for ₹3.45 Lakhs) heads-up.
Like the Ultron, the final table of The Summit was a reg-fest as well with prominent regs like Dhaval ‘Rehab77’ Mudgal (3rd for ₹2.22 Lakhs), Shardul ‘duuurrrr’ Parthasarathi (4th for 1.64 Lakhs), Neeraj ‘neeraj2828’ Bajaj (5th for ₹1.23 Lakhs), Sagar ‘sagarpupul’ Choudhury (6th for ₹98,678), Siddhanth ‘ender’ Kripalani (7th for ₹81,972), Sriharsha ‘ivey2’ Doddapaneni (8th for ₹65,711), and Guneet ‘guntz’ Kwatra (9th for ₹49,228), all in the running.

PokerStars India
Spearheading the Thursday run of the tournaments at PokerStars India was the ₹7,700 buy-in Highroller. With 236 entries joining the action, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD was comfortably surpassed with the final tally touching ₹16.62 Lakhs. In the end, it was seasoned MTT pro Raghav ‘OMGZ_ITS_RB’ Bansal, who squared off with Jaideep ‘NNOmadas’ Sajwan in the heads-up play. The duo agreed to a chop with Bansal winning the title and ₹2.77 Lakhs in prize money, while Sajwan picked up ₹2.75 Lakhs for his runner-up finish. It was a very eventful Thursday for Bansal, who took down the Highroller and placed third in Spartan Poker’s Ultron for an additional ₹2.17 Lakhs in winnings.
The ₹2,750 buy-in Battle Royale Mini brought together 221 entries, and the top 34 places took a bite out of the ₹5.52 Lakhs prize pool. Racing past the competition was ‘Infic11,’ who earned ₹1.06 Lakhs in prize money after defeating ‘guns4655’ (runner-up for ₹42,771) heads-up!
Adda52
Headlining the Thursday roster of tourneys on Adda52 was the Godfather that suffered a shortfall of ₹50,000 on its ₹30 Lakhs guarantee with a below-par turnout of 590 entries (300 unique entries and 290 re-entries).
Dominating them all was PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘Pegasus1505’ Ved, who bested a star-studded final table featuring Amit ‘newcomer’ J (3rd for ₹2.73 Lakhs), Dhaval ‘dirtyzoso’ Mudgal (4th for ₹2.10 Lakhs), Ritesh ‘ritesh5812’ Tripathi (5th for ₹1.50 Lakhs), Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla (6th for ₹1.05 Lakhs), and Neeraj ‘kumartomar’ Kumar (8th for ₹60,000). Ved eventually collided with an anonymous player ‘pofunder’ (runner-up for ₹4.11 Lakhs) heads-up before claiming the top prize worth ₹7.05 Lakhs.
Running alongside the Godfather was the Hexagram, and again, the site had to fill in a ₹22,000 overlay on the ₹3 Lakhs GTD prize pool. The tourney logged in 139 entries with the top 15 places making ITM finishes. Topping them all for the second day running was Aditya ‘Adit11’ Kulkarni, who defeated ‘DADDY5050’ (runner-up for ₹55,500) heads-up to win ₹84,750. Kulkarni had notably won this same tourney on Wednesday as well.
Another player who clearly stood out last night was Dhaval ‘Rehab77’ Mudgal. Even though the musician-turned poker pro did not win a title yesterday, he FT’ed two flagship tourneys. Mudgal finished third in The Summit for ₹2.22 Lakhs and on Adda52, where he plays with the moniker ‘dirtyzoso’, he finished fourth in the Godfather to win ₹2.10 Lakhs!
