On the heels of a firecracker Sunday, Monday too had a lot to offer with our PokerGuru Ambassadors dominating the action. Spartan Poker’s Spartan Super Series is setting the virtual felts on fire, and the biggest draw on Monday was the SSS#33 ReCharge ₹18 Lakhs GTD. Attracting a field of 1,058 entries (460 unique, 210 re-entries, and 388 rebuys), the tournament smashed its advertised guarantee and posted a massive prize pool of ₹21.16 Lakhs. In tune with the current crisis, it was a player with the moniker ‘corona virus’ who took down the tourney to win ₹3 Lakhs, following a three-way deal with Dhirendra ‘dhiru91’ Kumar (runner-up for ₹2.70 Lakhs) and Alok ‘Mazacar’ Birewar (3rd for ₹2.59 Lakhs).

Online reg Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia beat out another site regular Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma heads-up to win the ₹2.01 Lakhs up top. Verma pocketed the second-place prize money worth ₹1.36 Lakhs.
