Wednesday packed quite the punch with four MTT stops running across different poker sites. While the regs had the flagship events to keep them busy, the recreational and micro-stakes players had two other poker platforms running more affordable events.

The banker turned MTT pro Kunal Patni picked up the day`s top score after winning Spartan Poker’s Destiny for a second time for ₹6.43 Lakhs. This is his fourth title victory in the last eight days.

Last month`s The Millionaire champion Deepak Bothra took down Adda52’s DOPT PKO for ₹4.24 Lakhs.

Advait Rajguru was the last player standing in Adda52’s DOPT Wednesday Feature and won ₹2.83 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.

Sahil Mahboobani championed PokerStars India`s Wednesday headliner, the Summer Series-82 Night on Stars, for ₹2.28 Lakhs.

Aman Parakh, Ashwin Vijay, Kunal Chaudhary, Tarush Gupta, Karan Malhotra, Sankalp Marwah, Praveen KR, Clinton Tavares, & Prashant Jha won the other marquee titles.

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker`s Destiny 19.0 series filled the last seat for the Destiny 19.0 SNG last night. The ₹28 Lakhs GTD event registered 577 entrants that helped collect a ₹28.85 Lakhs prize pool. The 8 PM tourney ended at 3:36 AM, with the former PPL High Roller champion Kunal ‘NutsTodayBluffTomo’ Patni walking away with the title and the ₹6.43 Lakhs cash prize that came with it. Patni struck a heads-up deal with ‘borntrouble’ (anonymity requested), who raked in an equally impressive ₹5.69 Lakhs.

Kunal Patni had won the Destiny for the first time last October for ₹5.41 Lakhs. The former Adda52 team pro is riding high on form as he clinched his 13th title for the year last night – his fourth flagship title in the last eight days. This win also helped him climb four places to #13 on the annual leaderboard.

The second Wednesday marquee running as part of Spartan Poker’s Daily Poker Marathon, the ₹8.5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes, accumulated a guarantee-smashing ₹9.24 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 616 entrants. After over seven hours of playing, the anonymous user ‘acesnkings12’ captured the title to win a personal-best ₹1.35 Lakhs following a three-way deal with ‘Gabbar1973′ (runner-up for ₹1.27 Lakhs) and Kapil ‘1Legend91’ Sachdeva (3rd for ₹1.13 Lakhs).

Running alongside the Wednesday marquees were six UVS tourneys, and Day 3 of the series was all about the 6-max events. The day`s featured event, the ₹5.10 Lakhs GTD UVS #18 6-Max, was taken down by ‘hodorthedog,’ who won ₹64,217 after striking a three-way deal with ‘DavidWarner21’ (runner-up for ₹64,143) and Nishant ‘nish1989’ Puri (3rd for ₹63,333).

Spartan Poker’s former SSS Super High Roller champion Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani outlasted the competition and defeated the Summer Series-39 Uppercut winner Tanmaya ‘tks5432’ Sahoo (runner-up for ₹1.71 Lakhs) heads-up to collect ₹2.28 Lakhs.

The Night on Stars victory fetched Sahil Mahboobani, his fourth title of the year, boosting his lifetime earnings to ₹7.6 Crores (₹2.71 Crores in net profits). He is currently ranked #20 in the annual leaderboard standings with ~₹1.21 Crores in yearly scores (~ ₹39 Lakhs in annual profits).
