It was an eventful Wednesday, even though most flagship tourneys had to fill in sizable overlays. Alongside the big-ticket events, there were a slew of moderately priced tourneys running as part of Spartan Poker’s Ultimate Value Series (UVS) and Adda52’s Nano Poker Series (NPS).

Here’s a quick recap of the Wednesday action!

Spartan Poker

After a week’s gap on account of the inaugural Millionaire Series, Spartan Poker’s signature Wednesday flagship, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Destiny, made a smashing comeback last night. The event logged in 547 entries to post a guarantee-crushing ₹27.35 Lakhs prize pool. After more than eight hours of play, ‘papertiger’ (anonymity requested) navigated their way to the top, claiming a site-best ₹5.96 Lakhs and a seat in the Destiny 17.0 SnG Finale. The Spartan Poker reg, ‘papertiger,’ was last in the news for winning the Ultron for ₹3.23 Lakhs on December 3. Their total winnings on the site have reached ₹12.39 Lakhs with ₹1.83 Lakhs in net profits.

Day 3 of the Ultimate Value Series (UVS) was all about 6-Max events. The biggest of them, the ₹4.75 Lakhs GTD UVS #18 6-Max, crowned a winner in Varun Raj ‘Arch1806’ Mahajan who won a personal-best (on Spartan Poker) ₹75,248 following a four-way deal with Ashish ‘intrcptr101’ Kaushik (runner-up for ₹67,802), ‘FloatingMonkey’ (third for ₹62,229), and ‘notoriusB.I.G’ (fourth for ₹60,043).
