Tuesday brought on another hectic day of tournament action for players, with Day 17 of the WPT Online India Series on Adda52 stealing most of the limelight. Yesterday also marked the beginning of the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Dangal Value Series Main Event on PokerDangal. Running from August 15 – 22, the series guarantees ₹35 Lakhs in cash prizes across 18 events.

The day belonged to PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh and Akshay Asawa, with both players making multiple deep runs. The former IOPC – The Crown champion, Laksh Pal Singh, topped the Tuesday charts with ₹7.65 Lakhs in cumulative winnings. He bagged his career-first WPT trophy in the WPT Tuesday Feature shortly after chopping PokerBaazi`s The Endeavour with Nikhil Arora.

Akshay Asawa was not far behind, winning two marquee events – Spartan Poker`s Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble and PokerBaazi`s Daily Sprint. This, along with two other deep runs, saw him adding₹5.30 Lakhs in Tuesday winnings!

Himanshu Bagdwal, Pradip Ghosh, PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh Veeravalli, Arindam Nayak, Pradeep Ghosh, Jimmy Arora, Yash Chitre, Abhishek Chhajer, Gautam Rohilla, Chirag Sodha, Md Saddam Hussain, Karan Jain & Praveen KR headlined the other marquee tournaments.

Spartan Poker’s Tuesday flagship, the ₹16.50 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack –Millionaire Bubble, posted another smashing run with an entry field of 563 players generating a profitable ₹16.89 Lakhs prize pool. Akshay ‘powershell’ Asawa was unstoppable last night as he powered his way through the reg-laden field to win the title for ₹3.28 Lakhs. The user ‘DONKT@RD’ placed second for ₹2.08 Lakhs.

Akshay Asawa added a second title, winning PokerBaazi’s Daily SPRINT for ₹1.18 Lakh. With two more deep runs, Asawa raked in over ₹5.30 Lakhs.

The second Tuesday marquee on Spartan Poker, The 6.75 Lakhs GTD The Race, kicked off 90 minutes after the Mega Stack and registered a starting field of 425 participants. The mystery player ‘vedabhambhani’ proved the eventual champion and won ₹1.35 Lakhs, beating Young Gun Sanat ‘orhem3001’ Mehrotra (2nd for ₹89,978) to the finish line.

Sanat Mehrotra also posted a seventh-place finish in the Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble for ₹55,061, cumulatively winning ₹1.45 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtilt23’ Pal Singh shipped the WPT trophy event of the day, the ₹22.50 Lakhs GTD WPT Tuesday Feature 8-Max for ₹5.40 Lakhs. He trounced a field of 543 entries en route to winning his career-first WPT trophy!

The Young Gun, currently ranked #3 on the annual leaderboard, went on a tear on Tuesday as he all but took down a second flagship title last night, chopping PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour for ₹2.25 Lakhs. Singh`s explosive Tuesday night run fetching him an impressive ₹7.65 Lakhs!

The WPT Tuesday feature champion PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ’emperor457′ Veeravalli was gunning for back-to-back WPT titles in the ₹8 Lakhs GTD WPT Mini 6-Max. However, Himanshu ‘baagdi’ Bagdwal denied him the honors by bagging the title for ₹1.71 Lakhs. Veeravalli netted an equally impressive ₹1.64 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal.

The ₹1 Crore GTD WPT Unreal is arguably the most ambitious online tournament hosted by an online site. The ₹499 entry buy-in event ran its 17th flight yesterday, with 735 entrants joining the action. Only 72 among them progressed to Day 2, and Shekhar ‘Brat_Poker’ Singh (544,475), ‘sass1920’ (412,298) and ‘tjs4297’ (412,233) topped the day-end chip counts.

There was a second ₹1 Crore GTD event running a starting flight yesterday – the WPT Quad 9. Day 1B of the ₹9,999 entry buy-in event logged in 128 entries, and only 13 players made it through to Day 2. The inaugural IOPC Mastermind Aniket ‘anteman’ Waghmare (292,984), ‘dharanvallabhaneni’ (257,052), and Sahil ‘ImHighIshove’ Mahboobani (229,080) bagged the top three stacks of the day.

The top order of the WPT Online India Mega Leaderboard standings remains unchanged from Monday, with Raghav ‘FuckedUpLife’ Siddalanga (864 points) retaining the #1 spot. PokerGuru Ambassadors Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja (845 points) and Ankit ‘d00mtr003r’ Wadhawan (756 points) are still occupying the #2 and #3 ranks, respectively.

The PPL MoneyMaker fourth-place finisher Nikhil ‘blastupinside’ Arora came out trumps to capture The Endeavour title for the second time this year for ₹2.26 Lakhs. He had previously won The Endeavour on July 13 for ₹3.05 Lakhs. This happened to be Nikhil Arora’s third title win this year and boosted his lifetime earnings to ₹46.28 Lakhs (₹10.36 Lakhs in net profits). PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh secured a runner-up payday worth ₹2.25 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up chop.

The ranked #3 player of the year, Laksh Pal Singh, topped the Tuesday charts as he also took down Adda52’s WPT Tuesday Feature for ₹5.40 Lakhs. With ₹7.65 Lakhs in Tuesday winnings, Singh`s online scorecard crossed ₹7.87 Crores (₹3.76 Crores in net profits) last night.

He denied PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ’emperor457′ Veeravalli the chance to clinch back-to-back WPT titles. The latter chopped the title heads-up with Bagdwal for ₹1.64 Lakhs.

Mohit ‘Gandiaa’ Dhingra (5th for ₹43,992) and Mitesh ‘mit2015’ Gupta (6th for ₹29,610) earned final table payouts.

The tourney posted a ₹8.46 Lakhs prize pool, and the top 43 runners received payouts.

Young Gun Sanat ‘orhem3001’ Mehrotra settling for a runner-up score of ₹89,978.

Sanat Mehrotra also placed seventh in the site`s Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble for ₹55,061, netting ₹1.45 Lakhs cumulatively on the site.

After five hours and 40 minutes of non-stop action, the APT#33 Championship Event third-place finisher Akshay ‘powershell’ Asawa came out on top to collect ₹1.18 Lakhs.

Asawa shipped a second title yesterday, namely, Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble for ₹3.28 Lakhs. He finished ITM in two more events that included an FT score, collecting a cumulative ₹5.30 Lakhs.

Vinay ‘Vinstill’ Bk placed runner-up in the Daily Sprint 7-Max for ₹82,550. He ITM-ed three more events for a cumulative ₹1.33 Lakhs. His other scores were:
