Thursday saw the usual weekly flagships making a return, and the regs came out all guns smashing last night.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh, the erstwhile annual leaderboard topper, featured among the day`s top scorers with over ₹4.27 Lakhs in winnings. The IOPC – The Crown champion posted a third-place finish in both Godfather and The Summit last night, climbing up two places to #2 on the yearly leaderboard!

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra was another trailblazer! The 29-year-old IIT and IIM alumni bagged ₹3.28 Lakhs last night. Another Young Gun and the FTS 2.0 Main Event champion, Siddharth Karia, took down Adda52’s Monster Turbo 5L for ₹1.54 Lakhs.

Vikram Mishra and Siddharth Pandey featured among the top winners of the day.

Spartan Poker’s Daily Poker Marathon rolled out the ₹16 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday and the ₹7 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack last night.

Starting at 8 PM, the Trending Thursday dragged in 571 runners, ensuring a generous ₹19.98 Lakhs prize pool collection. The tourney got over in under eight hours, with Wednesday’s La Luna champion Siddharth ‘champ-ak’ Pandey taking down the title, his second on consecutive days, for ₹2.65 Lakhs. He struck a four-way deal with Subhojit ‘subhojitR’ Roy (2nd for ₹2.50 LakhS), Rahul ‘sttoned’ Kumar (3rd for ₹2.38 Lakhs), and Bhanu ‘spectre’ Prakash KC (4th for ₹2.14 Lakhs).

The mystery user ‘chiku16’ came out on top in the ₹7 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack to win ₹1.86 Lakhs. Akshay ‘Jacks24Kadam, who has gained a reputation for placing runner-up in the marquee tourneys on Spartan Poker, added another close finish to his tally, pocketing ₹1.18 Lakhs.

Yesterday again, a starting field of 159 runners ensured a guarantee-smashing ₹11.13 Lakhs prize pool. Young Gun Sanat ‘durrsanta’ Mehrotra trounced the competition to ship the event for ₹1.97 Lakhs (₹95,785 in bounties). Umesh ‘dhondu.chilll’ Sharma placed second for ₹1.47 Lakhs (₹47,223 in bounties).

The day`s featured tourney on PokerBaazi, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit, had 223 hopefuls signing up for ₹8,250, generating a prize pool worth ₹16.73 Lakhs. The top 27 spots got paid. Walking away with the bragging rights was the mystery user ‘aryamancr7’, who won ₹3.93 Lakhs after besting Vikram ‘Poker_lover’ Mishra 2nd for ₹2.76 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

Adda52`s Thursday night extravaganza, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Godfather, put up the most massive prize pool guarantee of the day. However, the event could only muster 478 entries, filling in ₹1.10 Lakhs in overlays. The mystery player ‘dillan747’ championed the tourney, banking a personal-best ₹5.52 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with ‘ShamalDas’ (runner-up for ₹4.43 Lakhs).

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtilt23’ Pal Singh finished third in the Godfather for ₹2.50 Lakhs. The Chandigarh-based pro also placed third in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹1.78 Lakhs, netting over ₹4.28 Lakhs on Thursday.
