It was an eventful Wednesday for our team of PokerGuru Ambassadors, who dominated the action, winning three marquee titles alongside numerous deep runs. Here`s a recap of all that transpired.

Spartan Poker

The head-turner on Wednesday, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD Destiny was the biggest guaranteed tourney on offer across all domestic platforms. Logging in 624 entries, the ₹5,500 buy-in event accrued a guarantee-smashing ₹31.20 Lakhs prize pool. The last three players cut a deal that saw

‘icantwin’ walking away with the title and the biggest piece of the prize money worth ₹5.90 Lakhs. The runner-up Raghav ‘Maddytilt’ Madan collected ₹5.21 Lakhs, while third-place finisher Anant ‘Pro’ Purohit walked away with ₹4.80 Lakhs.

This happens to be Madan’s biggest score on Spartan Poker to date, surpassing the previous best ₹2.34 Lakhs that he was awarded for winning the ReCharge on June 16.

PokerBaazi

Wednesday’s at PokerBaazi are reserved for the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride. The ₹3,300 buy-in event clocked in 334 entries last night to collect ₹10.02 Lakhs in the prize pool. Suraj ‘soorajtodi’ Todi came out on top to win the title for ₹2.21 Lakhs after edging past online reg Sagar ‘sagarpupul’ Choudhury (runner-up for ₹1.55 Lakhs) heads-up.

For Todi, the victory brought him a new personal-best online score taking his lifetime cashes tally over the ₹10 Lakh-mark. His previous best finish was in Spartan Poker’s UVS Monster Stack that he won for ₹1.18 Lakhs.

Adda52

There were two showstopper events lined up on Day 17 of the AOPS series, each offering a ₹15 Lakhs prize pool guarantee.

The first of them, the ₹2,500 buy-in AOPS Maverick, brought in a guarantee-busting 738-entry field that helped collect ₹17.93 Lakhs in the prize pool. Walking away with the lion`s share of the prize money worth ₹4.48 Lakhs was none other than PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘arjan30’ Singh Chadha. The Chandigarh-based pro defeated Sumit ‘runrabbitrun’ Advani (runner-up for ₹2.41 Lakhs) heads-up to win his second prominent title at the ongoing series.

Chadha, who only recently crossed the magical ₹5 Crore-mark in lifetime cashes, is a regular face on final tables. Yesterday too, he FT-ed two tourneys. His other deep run was a ninth-place finish in PokerBaazi`s The Pride for ₹22,144.

The other ₹15 Lakhs GTD tourney at Adda52 was the ₹7,500 buy-in AOPS Monster Stack. It registered 263 entries to accrue a massive ₹18.02 Lakhs prize pool. Racing past the competition was Ankit ‘ankitmodi’ Modi, who defeated Sachin ‘funky_srs’ Sharma (runner-up for ₹3.68 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹3.79 Lakhs after a HU deal. This was Modi`s second-best finish to date. His sixth-place finish in the AOPS Mini ME Finale for ₹4 Lakhs continues to be his career highlight. For Sharma, the runner-up finish fetched him his best score on the site, surpassing his previous best score of ₹3 Lakhs that he had won for finishing sixth in Full House Finale on June 8.

The ₹6 Lakhs GTD AOPS Moonlight was the other featured event gracing Adda52`s Wednesday schedule. The event sold 405 registration slips to easily surpass the advertised guarantee and garner ₹6.64 Lakhs in the prize pool. Siddharth ‘si151190’ Mehndiratta took down the title to win ₹1.23 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Ayaz ‘khan1977’ Khan (runner-up for ₹1.12 Lakhs). Mehnriratta has cashed over ₹18 Lakhs this year, while his lifetime tally stands at ₹73.83 Lakhs.

PokerStars India

The ₹10 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars was the featured tourney of the day on PokerStars India. Like the last few days, again, a below-par turnout of 330 entries resulted in the site having to fill in a sizeable overlay worth ₹1.75 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘b00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan got the best deal on the dead money in the pool as he came out on top to win ₹1.86 Lakhs – his best-recorded score on PokerStars India. Wadhawan is currently ranked #23 on the yearly leaderboard with more than ₹1.16 Crores in winnings. Wadhawan defeated ‘dangermouse84’ (runner-up for ₹1.34 Lakhs) heads-up to win the title.

The other big-ticket tourney on the site was the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush. The tourney played out amid 217 runners yesterday, distributing a prize pool of ₹5.42 Lakhs.
