The virtual temperatures soared on Thursday, paving the way for an exciting weekend, with Spartan Poker’s Legend Poker Series, PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder Series, PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker, Pocket 52’s Pocket Friendly Series offering the MTT crowd plenty to choose from.

The IPC Megastacks Kickoff champion Mahesh Shyamsundar was the Thursday chartbuster with ₹23.98 Lakhs in total winnings. He won that distinction after taking down the second eight-figure GTD LPS flagship, Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #49 High Roller, for a career-best ₹23.25 Lakhs (over 3X his previous best score), reeling in his first title in almost three months and storming to the #1 position on the LEGEND High Roller leaderboard.

The #1 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, came second in the LEGEND #49 High Roller for ₹15.75 Lakhs (won ₹16.58 Lakhs overall), jumping to #3 on the LPS HR Leaderboard.

On the heels of his breakout run last Friday, the IOPC JUNE 2022 PLO HighRoller champion Karan Kapur emerged as PokerBaazi’s December The MoneyMaker champion, winning a personal-best ₹12.86 Lakhs (his second seven-figure score). Shantanu Bhardwaj (2nd for ₹7.93 Lakhs) and Shakir Mohammad (3rd for ₹6.29 Lakhs) rounded out the podium in the 1 flight ₹1 Crore GTD MoneyMaker.

Ankit Wadhawan accumulated almost ₹9.81 Lakhs from four deep runs, notably shipping PokerStars India’s BBS-17 High Roller Championship (₹6.22 Lakhs) & FT-ing PokerBaazi’s The Summit (₹1.53 Lakhs). His stablemate Debneil Mukherjee placed second in the BBS-17 High Roller Championship for ₹3.16 Lakhs.

Abhishek Sonu (Won two BBS titles – BBS-16 Bounty Builder for ₹59,228 & BBS-15 Alternate Blinds for ₹22,998), Dhinesh Kumar (Won BBS-19 Uppercut Mini for ₹94,041), ‘nikpokernoob’ (Won BBS-21 Blizzard for ₹39,577), Adwait Pol (Won BBS-20 Bounty Adrenaline for ₹16,273), and ‘abhi29399’ (Won BBS-18 Pulsar PLO Turbo for ₹13,770) won the other BSS marquees on PokerStars India.

Vivek Singh squeezed out an impressive ₹9.67 Lakhs across six ITM finishes, becoming the 13th player on our tracked database to cross ₹10 Crores in online winnings. He won PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) SPRINT (₹2.39 Lakhs) & FT-ed Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #49 – High Roller (5th for ₹6.90 Lakhs).

Mohammad Azhar collected over ₹7.44 Lakhs last night, shipping Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #47 Thursday Showdown for ₹6.92 Lakhs. LPS #25 Esteem champion Gursimrann Brar came second for ₹4.39 Lakhs (won ₹4.53 Lakhs overall).

Improving upon his runner-up finish in Maverick the day before, Vishal Ojha conquered Adda52’s Godfather, netting a personal-best ₹6.30 Lakhs (won ₹6.86 Lakhs overall). Dinesh Singh picked up ₹3.67 Lakhs as the runner-up.

Tuesday’s Daily Value Boost champion, Gaurav Bhutra, become the first player to win two Legend Poker Series titles on the same day. He took down the LEGEND #45 Lunar for a site-best ₹5.84 Lakhs and followed it up by conquering LEGEND #44 for ₹82,082. The #2 ranked player of the year, Ashish Ahuja, finished runner-up in LEGEND #45 Lunar for ₹3.61 Lakhs.

Bharat Kanaiyalal Chhunchha (Won LEGEND #50 PKO for 1.84 Lakhs), Piyush Ravi (Won LEGEND #44 for 94,773), and Ravinder Singh (Won LEGEND #48 PLO4 for 30,309) won the other LPS marquees yesterday.
