It has never been a better time to play online MTT`s with the nation-wide lockdown prompting online operators to dole out massive guarantees. Yet again, it was Spartan Poker that played host to the biggest guarantee tournament on offer yesterday. The Mega Stack ₹25 Lakhs GTD stole the show on Tuesday after logging in a monstrous field of 929 entries (407 unique entrants, 165 re-entries, and 357 re-buys). It was a climactic ending that saw the first-ever ‘The Millionaire United’ champion Mahima ‘mambojojo’ Walia Das adding another flagship title to her name! What’s even more incredible is that the 32-year-old had sattied her way into the tourney and defeated ‘sheep1214’ (2nd for ₹3.32 Lakhs) heads-up to win the ₹5.34 Lakhs first-place cash prize! Not just Das, her husband Anirban Das was in phenomenal form as well, final tabling an impressive three major tournaments while posting a top 12 finish in another for a total take-home of ₹1.74 Lakhs!

The other Spartan Poker marquee, The Race ₹10 Lakhs GTD, crowned a champion in ‘gogobhai’ who collected ₹1.60 Lakhs in prize money following a three-way deal with Guruprasad ‘DONKAKING’ Gupta (2nd for ₹1.48 Lakhs) and ‘Shefking’ (3rd for ₹1.26 Lakhs). Gupta deserves special mention was his blistering run yesterday as he also took down the Afternoon Showdown – Monster Stack ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.12 Lakhs and finished seventh in the Mega Stack for ₹86,118.

The Tuesday flagship at PokerBaazi, The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD, pulled in a packed field as well. The ₹3,500 buy-in event clocked in a massive 566-entry field (282 unique entries and 284 re-entries), and the top 72 places took a bite out of the ₹19.81 Lakhs prize pool. In the end, it was Ankit ‘helter_skelter’ Kapoor who snagged the title along with the ₹3.74 Lakhs first-place cash prize after defeating a mystery user ‘sharmak1393’ (2nd for ₹2.62 Lakhs) heads-up.

Meanwhile, it was Vivek ‘lazyguru’ Singh who shipped the Endeavour Mini ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD for a ₹1.76 Lakhs payday after relegating Dinesh ‘Daddu26’ Singh (2nd for ₹1.24 Lakhs) to the rail in runner-up place.

Over at PokerStars India, it was the online reg Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani, who championed the site`s Tuesday flagship Sixth Sense ₹10 Lakhs GTD. The Mumbai resident raced to the top of a 341-strong entry field (including 166 unique runners and 175 re-entries) to win ₹1.79 Lakhs, denying PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved (runner-up for ₹1.27 Lakhs) the title.

It was a dominating run by the PokerGuru Ambassadors on PokerStars India as Vivek ‘Mystic Peaks’ Singh took down the Super Tuesday ₹5 Lakhs GTD on the site for ₹88,673 following a heads-up deal with ‘iamhunting’ (2nd for ₹84,843).

Adda52`s Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD registered 332 participants (168 unique and 164 re-entries) and paid out 34 places a share of the ₹10.62 Lakhs prize pool. Running past the competition was ‘thepokerfaceblr’ who defeated ‘dashamipoojitha23’ (2nd for ₹1.77 Lakhs) in the heads-up play to win ₹2.91 Lakhs.

Rounding out the standout performers last night were Ankit Jajodia and Gagandeep Singh. Jajodia posted two final table finishes that included a title victory in PokerBaazi’s Tuesday MonsterStack for ₹80,855! Jajodia is undoubtedly back to his winning days, having shipped the Monday MegaStack ₹2 Lakhs GTD just a day prior for ₹60,000. Singh FT’ed two tourneys as well, namely The Endeavour and Adda52’s Hitman.
