It has never been a better time to play online MTT`s with the nation-wide lockdown prompting online operators to dole out massive guarantees. Yet again, it was Spartan Poker that played host to the biggest guarantee tournament on offer yesterday. The Mega Stack ₹25 Lakhs GTD stole the show on Tuesday after logging in a monstrous field of 929 entries (407 unique entrants, 165 re-entries, and 357 re-buys). It was a climactic ending that saw the first-ever ‘The Millionaire United’ champion Mahima ‘mambojojo’ Walia Das adding another flagship title to her name! What’s even more incredible is that the 32-year-old had sattied her way into the tourney and defeated ‘sheep1214’ (2nd for ₹3.32 Lakhs) heads-up to win the ₹5.34 Lakhs first-place cash prize! Not just Das, her husband Anirban Das was in phenomenal form as well, final tabling an impressive three major tournaments while posting a top 12 finish in another for a total take-home of ₹1.74 Lakhs!
