The online MTT grind is back to the usual now that the WPT Online India and FTS are over. Nonetheless, there were several action-packed events crowning champions last night.
Here’s the complete recap.
Spartan Poker
With the FTS now over, Spartan Poker’s run-of-the-mill events have got going once again, and Thursday was primarily about the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Ultron where a 473-entry led to an overlay of ₹1.08 Lakhs. Rajeev ‘onlywinner007’ Atal waded through the competition to clinch the title for ₹3.89 Lakhs. Atal dominated Ankur ‘Crimemastergogo’ Sehgal in heads-up play.
Sehgal, who had made a deep run in the ₹2 Crores GTD FTS #19 Main Event for an 18th place finish worth ₹1.62 Lakhs on Sunday, picked up a runner-up score of ₹2.47 Lakhs and now sits with over ₹1.55 Crore in MTT earnings. Among the prominent FT scorers were Vishal ‘BLueWhale222’ Madan (4th for ₹1.50 Lakhs) and Young Gun Anujkumar ‘aatmaan108’ Kodam (5th for ₹1.18 Lakhs).
Kodam charted a breakout run on Thursday with three FT finishes, collecting over ₹4 Lakhs for the day. Alongside his fifth-place finish in the Ultron, he placed fourth in Adda52`s Godfather for ₹1.97 Lakhs while picking up a third-place score worth ₹85,222 in PokerStars India’s ₹12 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush-31 Uppercut SE.
The ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Monsterstack crowned a champion in ‘lastmountain,’ who bagged ₹1.46 Lakhs after dominating Vaibhav ‘Vakeel_sahab’ Arora in the heads-up finale. Arora added ₹1.18 Lakhs to his bankroll.
PokerStars India
The featured tourney on PokerStars India was the ₹4,400 entry buy-in ₹12 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush-31 Uppercut SE, where a turnout of 316 entries (148 unique entries and 168 re-entries) generated a guarantee-smashing ₹12.64 Lakhs prize pool. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘chipcharity999’ Munot toppled Jai Kiran ‘ZEEKE777’ Kumar (2nd for ₹1.35 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹2.22 Lakhs.
Young Gun Anujkumar ‘aatmaan108’ Kodam, who final tabled two more events last night, placed third for ₹85,222. Sanat ‘durrsanta’ Mehrotra (4th for ₹56,505), Ranjeet ‘Bedevilforyou’ Negi (5th for ₹37,047), and Amar ‘PsykoEko’ B Iyer (6th for ₹30,255) were the other online regs who FT-ed the tourney.
All 59 ITM finishers in the Uppercut accumulated points towards the final week of the “Star of the Month” – November leaderboard race.
The other qualifying tourney, i.e., the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush- 34 Ultrasonic, registered 172 entries, overlaying ₹28,000. The 27 ITM finishers accrued points towards the leaderboard race. Anonymous player ‘sanjbat’ was the last player standing in the Ultrasonic and won ₹52,544 after striking a heads-up deal with Akshay ‘ak7208’ Panwar (runner-up for ₹23,926).

Adda52
With the WPT Online India now in the rear-view mirror, Adda52’s Thursday mainstay ₹25 Lakhs GTD Godfather returned after a nearly month-long hiatus at 8 PM last night. The ₹5,500 entry buy-in tournament registered 564 entries to collect a smashing ₹28.20 Lakhs prize pool. The final 63 contenders earned a share from that, with Manish ‘newkidpoker’ Lakhotia walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool worth ₹6.62 Lakhs.
This is the first Godfather title for Lakhotia, who had made his closest run to winning the event back in December 2018 – finishing runner-up in Godfather 6.0 for ₹3.31 Lakhs. Last night’s win has boosted his online MTT record to ₹4.18 Crores, at the same time, getting him across ₹2 Crores in earnings for the year.
Runner-up ‘anonymous789’ pocketed a hefty ₹3.86 Lakhs. Vinod ‘Iliketobluff’ Megalmani (3rd for ₹2.56 Lakhs), Young Gun Anujkumar ‘thekinganuj’ Kodam (4th for ₹1.97 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘emperor457’ Veeravalli (5th for ₹1.41 Lakhs), Avneesh ‘IamAM’ Munjal (6th for ₹98,700), Akshat ‘akshat03’ Sharma (7th for ₹77,500) and Kunal ‘kvohra’ Vohra (8th for ₹56,400) were the other known players to feature on the 8-max FT.
The other big-ticket attraction on the site, the ₹2,750 entry buy-in ₹4 Lakhs GTD Table for 6, like the Godfather, easily crushed its guarantee, generating a ₹4.92 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 197 entries. The field whittled down to a heads-up showdown between last week’s WPT Mini 6-Max champion Devrat ‘Vickypune’ Singh and ‘aishni12.’ Once again, Singh rode his way to the finish line to pocket a ₹1.36 Lakhs payout, with the latter conceding to a runner-up finish for ₹80,031.
Singh was on a rampage yesterday as this was the third tourney he won on Adda52. He had earlier won the Punch for ₹28,000 while also taking down the Evening Adda for ₹12,790.
PokerBaazi
PokerBaazi’s The Summit was one of the biggest buy-in tourneys playing out yesterday, offering a prize pool guarantee of ₹15 Lakhs at an entry price of ₹8,250. A field of 204 entries (121 unique and 83 re-entries) signed up to play, collecting a generous ₹15.30 Lakhs. 23-year-old Delhi-based pro, Young Gun Ujjwal ‘Mr_Robot’ Narwal, outran a stacked FT that included his heads-up opponent Aditya ‘gangajal’ Sushant to win ₹3.69 Lakhs.
November has proved to be a very profitable month for Narwal, who would have ranked high on the monthly leaderboard had he not opted out of our tracking. He had shipped the ₹20 Lakhs GTD WPT Friday Feature on Diwali eve for ₹6.45 Lakhs and posted two FT scores this past Sunday when he placed third in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT India-Mike Sexton Tribute for ₹4.14 Lakhs and a runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for ₹2.94 Lakhs.
Sushant, fresh off his Wednesday night victory in the Maverick for ₹3.75 Lakhs, padded his bankroll by ₹2.59 Lakhs after finishing runner-up in The Summit. He currently sits with over ₹4.33 Crores in recorded MTT cashes.
PokerGuru Ambassador’s Ankit ‘d00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan (3rd for ₹1.66 Lakhs) and Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbaby’ Chadha (4th for ₹1.23 Lakhs) and Young Gun Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta (5th for ₹92,570) were others on The Summit`s 7-max FT.
The ₹4 Lakhs GTD Thursday 6-Max DeepStack witnessed a footfall of 125 hopefuls to fall ₹87,500 short of its advertised guarantee. The event eventually handed out the title and the ₹1.07 Lakhs first-place cash prize to ‘rakshajindal,’ with PokerBaazi Team Pro Abhishek ‘AbhishekRathod’ Rathod placing runner-up for ₹75,080. Rathod also placed sixth in Adda52’s Table for 6 for ₹21,178.
The ₹2 Lakhs GTD PBBS#19 Main Event ran its fourth starting flight on Thursday, and only 10 runners from a starting field of 110 entries could bag stacks for Day 2. ‘imtijamir’ (267,000), ‘yashassr’ (258,000) and ‘dayanandprass’ (243,000) carried forward the top stacks of the day.
