There has been a visible drop in online MTT turnouts ever since the inaugural National Poker Series got over last Sunday, perhaps acting as much-needed downtime for the MTT regs before the IOPC July Edition starts on Sunday.

The Tuesday action was invigorating, with most flagships either crushing their advertised guarantees to filling in marginal overlays.

The top-ranked player of the year, Manish Lakhotia, bagged the single-largest score of the day worth ₹3.72 Lakhs in Adda52`s The Mint. The Siliguri-based MTT pro is the only player on our database sitting on over ₹2.50 Crores in annual earnings (₹2.64 Crores) and one of four players with over ₹8 Crores in online career winnings.

Chirag Sodha, Sagar Choudhury, Ankit Bajaj, Anuj Laddhad, Akansha Sehgal, Arun Sriram, and Himanshu Kataria dominated the other Tuesday flagships.

Here are the Tuesday highlights!

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker has been tweaking the prize pool guarantees of its flagship tournaments frequently. It had increased the guarantee for its Tuesday primetime event, the Mega Stack (Millionaire Bubble), to ₹20 Lakhs last week but reset it to ₹17 Lakhs again this week. The event ended up logging in a guarantee-crushing 622-entry field that whittled down to a heads-up showdown between mystery user ‘lailaterilelegi’ and MTT pro Sagar ‘maniacmachi’ Choudhury. The duo struck a heads-up deal with the former walking away with the title and a ₹3.06 Lakhs payday and Choudhury netting ₹2.81 Lakhs for his second-place finish.
