It was an action-packed Thursday that saw Sanat Mehrotra and Young Gun Arsh Grover sweep the felts clean with two deep runs each. Priyank Kothari, Mahima Walia Das, & PokerGuru Ambassador`s Ankit Wadhawan and Parikshit Dhall were the other prominent winners!

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker’s Thursday flagship, Ultron ₹30 Lakhs GTD, pulled in a stacked field of 694 entries that left a shortfall of ₹2.24 Lakhs for the site to fill in. The top 63 places got paid, and collecting the fattest cheque in the tourney was online reg Priyank ‘Piko’ Kothari, who closed out the event to win ₹5.03 Lakhs. Kothari’s heads-up rival ‘pofunder’ had to settle for ₹4.42 Lakhs in prize money.

The Knockout ₹6.5 Lakhs GTD saw the mystery crusher ‘Tokio999’ walking away with the title and ₹1.52 Lakhs in prize money after a heads-up deal with ‘sheep1214’ (2nd for ₹1.03 Lakhs).

Making the winner`s list was the first-ever Millionaire United champion Mahima ‘mambojojo’ Walia Das, who shipped the Monster Stack for ₹1.22 Lakhs. She even final tabled the Ultimate PLO tourney, crossing ₹50 Lakhs in profits this year.

PokerBaazi

The Thursday special on PokerBaazi was the PMVS HR Summit ₹30 Lakhs GTD, and the crown jewel and the cool ₹6.89 Lakhs up top went to an anonymous user ‘lamfish’. Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover settled for the runner-up spot and collected ₹4.84 Lakhs for his efforts. Grover also won the INSCOOP HR yesterday.

The other featured tourney on the PMVS schedule, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD MegaStack, was taken down by PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘d00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan who took home a paycheck worth ₹2.36 Lakhs after defeating ‘acejamal’ (2nd for ₹1.65 Lakhs) heads-up.

Adda52

The AOPS continues to drive the MTT action at Adda52, and Thursday was all about Sanat Mehrotra, who won the two biggest tourneys on the site. The most prominent of the two was the AOPS Mandovi ₹35 Lakhs GTD. Mehrotra plowed his way through the 789-entry field (403 entries and 386 re-entries) to collect the lion’s share of the ₹39.45 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹9.07 Lakhs! This happens to be Mehrotra`s career-best score to date. The IITian defeated mystery user ‘OMFG’ heads-up!

Mehrotra was far from being done for the night and had another ace up his sleeve. Not content with winning the Mandovi title, Mehrotra went on to take down the AOPS PLO Highroller ₹12.5 Lakhs GTD title as well for an additional ₹3.91 Lakhs. Here his heads-up opponent was the formidable Young Gun Gaurav ‘gauravarod’ Sood (runner-up for ₹2.46 Lakhs), who, with this runner-up finish has taken over the top spot on the 2020 profit leaderboard!

PokerStars India

Moving on to the marquee event at PokerStars India, the INCOOP Highroller ₹30 Lakhs GTD, brought in 249 entries (135 unique entries and 114 re-entries) to form a guarantee-smashing prize pool of ₹33.96 Lakhs and the top 41 places earned payouts. While he couldn’t seal the deal in PokerBaazi’s HR Summit, Young Gun Arsh ‘BiggggTymeR’ Grover did one better in this tourney. He cut a heads-up deal with ‘PsykoEko’ (runner-up for ₹5.03 Lakhs) to add another ₹6.29 Lakhs to his bankroll!

The INSCOOP The Classic ₹6 Lakhs registered a player pool of 270 entries (167 unique and 103 re-entries) and taking top honors was yet another Young Gun Anmol ‘Kaanchancheena’ Mehta, who beat out ‘luckybuoy’ (2nd for ₹1.01 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹1.35 Lakhs in prize money.

It was another fantastic day for the PokerGuru Ambassadors, with several among them scoring big. While Wadhawan was undoubtedly the biggest winner for the team, Parikshit ‘Zapdos123’ Dhall was another prominent winner. The former Millionaire champion came out on top in the INSCOOP Thursday Thrill ₹5 Lakhs GTD to win ₹96,018. Ashish ‘ragspoker’ Munot (3rd in AOPS Mandovi for ₹3.55 Lakhs), and Nadeem ‘nadeem0021’ Basha (4th in AOPS Mandovi for ₹2.68 Lakhs) were others who added to the team`s tally!
