It was an action-packed Thursday, and the good news is that there’s much more to look forward to these next ten days, with Spartan Poker’s ₹12 Crore GTD FTS 3.0 taking flight at 4 PM. The 30-event series runs right until September 19, pushing the ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire into a two-week hiatus.
It was almost déjà vu as the NPS Main Event champion Mohammad Azhar once again topped Spartan Poker’s The Big Deal, winning the high roller title for a second consecutive week for ₹7.80 Lakhs. At the same time, last Thursday’s The Summit champion, Young Gun Sahil Chutani, placed runner-up for ₹5.27 Lakhs.
Vijendra Kumar Sharma won Adda52’s Godfather for the second time this year, netting a site-best ₹6.12 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh placed runner-up.
Kunal Patni championed PokerBaazi’s The Summit for an incredible fourth time yesterday (second time this year) for ₹3.92 Lakhs, moving up to #4 in the annual leaderboard. The ranked #1 player in the country, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, placed runner-up.

Because of the FTS, the site’s weekend flagship, The Millionaire, goes on a hiatus for two weeks.
