Two days into the week, and we have Team India going full throttle at WPT Cambodia. With Laksh Pal Singh already putting up a runner-up finish, we have Gaurav Sood and Ravi Shankar Metlapalli vying for the WPT title on the Megastack Freezeout final table. Several others, including PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan, Abhinav Iyer, and Deep Raina have also made FT finishes. Over at the domestic virtual felts, it was business as usual with the signature Tuesday tourneys making their weekly appearance.

Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack ₹17 Lakhs GTD dominated the headlines, and unlike the most prominent events across other sites, the tournament enjoyed a smashing run. A turnout of 718 entries (323 unique, 154 re-entries, and 241 rebuys) ensured that the prize pool guarantee was obliterated to smithereens with the final tally overstretching by ₹4.30 Lakhs! Walking away with the title was none other than tournament regular Myron ‘mehhhhh’ Pereira. Pereira, who is a local from Goa, was last seen posting a live score at the BPT Goa where he final-tabled the series-ending ₹20K PLO. Pereira has been on a scoring spree recently. On Sunday, he had won the SSS#41 Electric Big Daddy ₹6 Lakhs GTD on the site. This time he defeated ‘JhingaLala’ heads-up to win the title for ₹3.40 Lakhs.

Like the Mega Stack, the other big event on Spartan Poker, Daily Hi-Fi ₹6 Lakhs GTD, surpassed its guarantee by logging in ₹6.18 Lakhs in prize money. ‘mariokart’ walked away with the lion`s share worth ₹1.19 Lakhs.

Among the other prominent winners on Tuesday was Anurag ‘13anurag’ Srivastava. Early this month, Srivastava found a notable mention in our online report after he took down Adda52’s The Ballers ₹15 Lakhs GTD for ₹3.08 Lakhs. While he’s been regularly adding to his tally since then, yesterday night, he hit the jackpot after topping a field of 417 entries (228 unique entries and 189 re-entries) in PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD. The event fell some ₹40,500 short of the guarantee and rewarded Srivastava with ₹3.01 Lakhs in his account.

The year has been fantastic for Team PokerGuru, and Tuesday was no different. Ratul ‘Atriohm’ Steves who had only a day before finished runner-up finish at the Recharge on Spartan Poker posted another deep run, finishing third in the Mega Stack for ₹1.87 Lakhs.

On PokerBaazi, we saw PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbaby’ Chadha, outlasting a 210-strong field (127 unique and 83 re-entries) to win the Tuesday MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.01 Lakhs. That was not all! PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank ‘GOAT-245’ Desai was another big winner who got his hands on the major title after piercing his way through a 278-entry field (142 unique and 136 re-entries) at the PokerStars India Sixth Sense ₹8 Lakhs GTD. Desai collected ₹1.24 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘MH1024’. The other event on the site, DeepStack ₹2 Lakhs GTD, was captured by Vishal ‘DeadGrinder1’ Madan for ₹29,047 after a three-way deal.

It was a profitable Tuesday for Adda52 pro Tarun ‘aggtarun’ Goyal as well. Goyal bested a field of 196 entries (109 unique and 87 re-entries) last night to take down the Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD on his sponsor’s site for ₹2.08 Lakhs. There was a massive overlay worth ₹1.22 Lakhs in the event.

On 9stacks, the daily regular StackUp @8 PM ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD had a marginal overlay of ₹11,500. Rishi ‘Skilled-2’Gupta came out on top to win ₹67,500.

PokerDangal’s Battlefield Tuesday ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD attracted 120 entries (82 unique and 38 rebuys), resulting in an overlay of ₹30,000. The top 20 places made it in the money, and it was Ayush ‘Ashwinvijay’ Jain, who took home the top prize of ₹33,000 after defeating ‘Pavbhaji’ heads-up.
