All indications pointed to a massive Thursday with an extended line-up of high-value SSS tourneys set to play out on Spartan Poker alongside Day 1B of PokerBaazi`s ₹5 Crores GTD EndBoss! Unfortunately, a late-night system issue forced Spartan Poker to pause all its evening flagships, and according to the announcement made by the site, these will resume some time today.

In a post on Facebook, the Spartan Poker team apologizing for the inconvenience caused to the players said, “…To avoid further delay in your gameplay, we have paused all the tournaments for today. All tournaments would be continued tomorrow from where they were left off. The timings for the same would be communicated to everyone soon.”

The site seems to have resolved the issue and, in its latest post clarified– “Spartan Poker is back in action with all its offerings. With no changes in its schedule for today, Spartan Super Series (SSS) tournaments will resume at its scheduled time. Players remaining at the tables of the Centurion, EPIC, and the Ultimate PLO tournaments will be paid as per Spartan Policy. Each remaining user will get back the tournament fee, and the prize pool formed from the buy-ins will be distributed as per the following formula. Each player receives the minimum prize not yet awarded at the time of cancellation. The remaining prize pool is distributed proportionally according to the chip count of remaining players. Freerolls will be canceled, and VIP Points will be refunded to all players. All Satellite players will be awarded tickets for the target tournament. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during your gameplay yesterday.”

Paused SSS flagship tournaments like the Ultron ₹35 Lakhs GTD, Super High Roller ₹65 Lakhs GTD and Big Bounty ₹8.5 Lakhs GTD will also resume today with an update on the timings expected soon.

Meanwhile, the second starting flight of the EndBoss did even better than the first one, logging in 1,375 entries (906 unique and 470 re-entries) – keeping the tourney on track to make it across the 5,000-entry mark required to meet the guarantee. After hours of action, only 152 players were able to advance to Day 2. Bagging the most massive stack among this lot was Deepak ‘Dkrocks01’ Meena with 504,000.
