What a fantastic Tuesday it was for tournament pro Nishant Sharma! Clinching three titles, the Mumbai lad banked over ₹12.4 Lakhs in cumulative winnings last night. His biggest win for the night came in Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack ₹30 Lakhs GTD that registered 1,121 entries (508 unique, 209 re-entries and 404 rebuys), generating ₹33.63 Lakhs in prize money. Sharma aka ‘FunkyouFTW1’ trounced the field and bested ‘shai91’ (runner-up for ₹3.89 Lakhs) heads-up to pocket a colossal ₹6.36 Lakhs top prize.

Not done winning the biggest GTD tourney on Spartan Poker, Sharma repeated the same feat on PokerBaazi, where he raced past a packed field of 696 entrants (337 unique and 359 re-entries) in The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD. Playing under the moniker ‘nishant177,’ Sharma grabbed the most significant cut of the ₹24.36 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹4.49 Lakhs.

Completing the hattrick, Sharma shipped PokerStars India’s Micro Series-16 Sixth Sense ₹10 Lakhs GTD as well for a cool ₹1.61 Lakhs, following a three-way deal with PokerGuru Ambassadors Rony ‘GoGetters1’ Chowdhury (runner-up for ₹1.45 Lakhs) and Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja (3rd for ₹1.40 Lakhs). The tourney logged in 486 entries, generating a ₹12.15 Lakhs prize pool.

Another seasoned pro, Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk’ Singhvi has been making a splash these past few days. He finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Legends ₹1.5 Crores GTD on Sunday. Continuing with his stellar run, Singhvi outlasted the 500-strong entry field (264 unique and 236 re-entries) in Adda52’s AOPS Hitman ₹12.5 Lakhs GTD. He toppled Raghav ‘balugawhale’ Bansal heads-up and walked away with ₹4.34 Lakhs in first-place prize money. Bansal received ₹2.34 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja may have lost the title to Sharma in the Micro Series-16 Sixth Sense ₹10 Lakhs GTD, but he more than made up for it by shipping Adda52’s AOPS Falcon ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.45 Lakhs. The tourney pulled in 246 participants (118 unique and 128 re-entries), resulting in a marginal ₹8,000 overlay. Ahuja bested fellow Team Ambassador Mithun ‘themiths’ Mahesh heads-up and the latter took home ₹82,516 for coming in second.

Joining his fellow teammate Ahuja on the podium was PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘Nutpeddling729’ Singh. He came out on top in PokerBaazi’s Endeavour Mini ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD and pocketed a winner’s payday worth ₹1.81 Lakhs, after outlasting a field of 211 entries (110 unique and 101 re-entries).

The other big-ticket tourney on Spartan Poker, The Race ₹12 Lakhs GTD attracted 832 runners (398 unique, 122 re-entries, and 312 re-buys), generating a prize pool worth ₹12.48 Lakhs. Harry ‘hypnotiser’ Singh triumphed over the field and defeated PokerGuru Ambassador Parikshit ‘zapdos1311’ Dhall (runner-up for ₹1.51 Lakhs) heads-up to win the title and the top prize of ₹2.40 Lakhs.

The Afternoon Showdown – Monster Stack ₹8 Lakhs GTD on Spartan Poker was another high-value MTT that registered 368 hopefuls (178 unique, 56 re-entries and 134 rebuys) – falling ₹64,000 short of the posted guarantee.
