The MTT turnouts witnessed a noticeable uptick on Wednesday, with most of the day’s marquees surpassing their guarantees.

Rahul Lal was the star of the day for taking down Spartan Poker’s ₹23 Lakhs GTD Destiny for ₹6.24 Lakhs and a seat in the Destiny 18.0 SnG Finale.

Harsh Karanpuria, Gagandeep Singh, Danish Shaikh, Amit Kaushik & Siddharth Pandey featured among the day`s other top winners.

Spartan Poker`s Destiny 18.0 series crowned its eighth winner last night. The ₹23 Lakhs GTD ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney piled in a guarantee-crushing 471 entries. Rahul ‘Vasili Arkhipov’ Lal, who recently changed his moniker on the site, ended up taking down the tourney for ₹6.24 Lakhs. With the win, Lal booked himself a seat in the Destiny 18.0 SnG Finale set for March 21. He now has ₹42.68 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker (₹14.75 Lakhs in profits).

The four-time Destiny winner Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora came close to taking down his fifth Destiny title last night, eventually placing runner-up for ₹3.89 Lakhs. His lifetime scorecard has crossed ₹2.37 Crores after last night`s haul.

Starting precisely 90 minutes after the Destiny, the ₹5.5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes registered 418 runners to collect ₹6.27 Lakhs in the prize pool. Amit ‘a.kihsuak’ Kaushik championed the tourney for ₹1.26 Lakhs, with former IOPC Main Event winner Anurag ‘TheDarkKnightReturns’ Srivastava placing runner-up for ₹83,579. This was the second tourney title of the day for Kaushik on Spartan Poker. Earlier in the day, he had won the ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack for ₹63,037, raking in ₹1.89 Lakhs overall. His lifetime tally has touched ₹90.74 Lakhs after the two title victories.

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars registered 258 entries, overlaying ₹42,566. Upcoming talent Siddharth ‘siddonuts’ Pandey shipping the event for the second time encashed ₹87,724 following a heads-up deal with Chaitanya ‘crylighter’ Dhingra (runner-up for ₹78,361). Pandey had previously won this event in April 2020 for ₹1.55 Lakhs. He currently sits on ₹2.54 Crores in online MTT winnings.

The ₹1.75 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush collected a guarantee-smashing ₹2.251 Lakhs prize pool after 225 runners signed-up for ₹1,100. The 9:30 PM tourney ended at 2:36 AM, with online reg Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna walking away with the title and a ₹50,867 (₹20,742 in prize money, ₹30,125 in bounties) cash prize. Ram ‘TheLagLawyer’ Kakkar finished runner-up for ₹19,693 (₹15,037 in prize money, ₹4,656 in bounties).

This, for Bubna, is his second time championing the Big Bubble Rush. He had last won the event in May 2020 for ₹1.01 Lakhs. Bubna also FT-ed the Night on Stars, placing ninth for ₹8,370.

PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride registered 264 entries, filling in ₹76,000 in overlays. It took six hours and thirty-two minutes of play for MTT pro Danish ‘pagla’ Shaikh to navigate his way to the top, and he added ₹2.21 Lakhs to his bankroll. Tournament leaderboard crusher Neeraj ‘SelfClaimedPro’ Kumar placed runner-up for ₹1.55 Lakhs.

It was a busy Wednesday on Adda52, with the site running the third starting flight for its ₹2 Crores GTD ATOC Main Event. Day 1C registered 149 entries. Counting the two previous flights, the Main Event has already filled in 415 entries (Day 1A – 74, Day 1B – 192, and Day 1C – 149).

After the stipulated 29 ten-minute levels of play, only 11 survived through to Day 2. Leading them was ‘IMUNAGI’ (364,950) (anonymity requested), with PokerGuru Ambassadors Mithun ‘Themiths’ Mahesh (312,275) and Nadeem ‘nadeem0021’ Basha (259,205) rounding out the top three stacks of the fay.

The ATOC series awarded two ATOC trophies on Wednesday. The more prominent of the two, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD ATOC Deepstack, wrangled in 238 entries, filling in a glaring ₹3.76 Lakhs in overlays. The top 24 places got paid, with Aman ‘singhal07’ Singhal walking away with the lion`s share of the prize money worth ₹5.49 Lakhs. Harsh ‘harsh20’ Karanpuria finished runner-up for ₹3.2 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal. Singhal also finished fourth in the ATOC Kronus for ₹51,000, cashing almost ₹6 Lakhs last night. His recorded tally on Adda52 has practically doubled to ₹12.33 Lakhs (₹6.35 Lakhs in site-profits).

The ₹15 Lakhs GTD ATOC Wednesday Feature brought together a guarantee-busting 633 entries. The mystery user ‘Dgme’ was the last player standing and won a personal-best ₹4.04 Lakhs after defeating Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Singh (runner-up for ₹2.29 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

A former PokerGuru team member and one of the most well-respected poker coaches in the country today, Danish ‘pagla’ Shaikh, put some of his taught lessons to work as he topped a 264-entry field in The Pride to win ₹2.21 Lakhs.

His heads-up opponent was the TLB crusher Neeraj ‘SelfClaimedPro’ Kumar, who raked in ₹1.55 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

The Pride is the second PokerBaazi flagship title for Shaikh in the last ten days. He had won the BSS#4 SuperStack on February 21 for ₹4.15 Lakhs. His PokerBaazi scorecard reflects ₹1.61 Crores in lifetime earnings.

The tourney registered an overlay of ₹76,000 overlay, and 36 players finished ITM.
