It turned out to be a fantastic Wednesday for Nitin Gupta, the top winner of the day, as he took down the Destiny title on Spartan Poker – his third time winning the tourney.

PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh earned his second “Super Achiever” badge for crossing the ₹5 Crore-mark in online earnings last night after winning the Maverick. Mohit Mehta crushed the Adda52 marquees. He shipped the La Luna, also placing runner-up in the Maverick.

Utsav Taneja championed The Pride on PokerBaazi while Armaan Kochhar won the February Finale on PokerStars India to become the “Star of the Month” – February.

Spartan Poker`s Wednesday signature Destiny clocked in 533 entries last night, overlaying ₹1.70 Lakhs on its ₹23 Lakhs guarantee. After over eight hours of play, MTT reg Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora came out on top to win ₹6.10 Lakhs and his third Destiny title. ‘DKDS84’ secured a runner-up payday of ₹3.80 Lakhs.

Arora, whose career-best score is the ₹6.89 Lakhs he won in the Destiny last year in October, is closing on the ₹2 Crore-milestone with lifetime winnings worth ₹1.97 Crores. He also booked his seat for the Destiny 18.0 SnG Finale scheduled for March 21.

The ₹5.50 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes logged in 405 runners, generating ₹6.08 Lakhs in the prize pool. Daulat ‘rahulh1’ Gupta was the last player standing and cashed ₹1.01 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Utkarsh ‘Utkriish’ Somaiya (runner-up for ₹1.01 Lakhs).

It was a special Wednesday on PokerStars India with the 100 qualifiers for the “Star of the Month” February Finale converging to play down to a winner. Making his way to the top after almost four hours of non-stop play was Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar.

The La Luna champion Mohit ‘thejokerrrr’ Mehta missed out on his second title victory of the day, placing runner-up for ₹2.21 Lakhs.

Last night`s score has catapulted Vivek Singh into the “₹5 Crore Club” earning him his second Super Achiever badge in 28 weeks. This is the second six-figure score of the week for the PokerGuru Staking member. On Monday, he placed runner-up in The Mint for ₹2.25 Lakhs.

The Maverick runner-up, Mohit Mehta, had a breakout run on Wednesday. He toppled 216 entrants in the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna to collect ₹99,303 after striking a heads-up deal with ‘Hell12’ (runner-up for ₹74,497). In all, Mehta cashed over ₹3.20 Lakhs yesterday, improving his lifetime tally to ₹1.22 Crores.
