The National Poker Series India 2025 is still THE place to be for online poker action! After a brief breather for Holi, this ₹100 Crores behemoth came back swinging on PokerBaazi this weekend. Day 21 was intense, a clear indication that this series is far from over as it barrels towards its grand finale. Five high-stakes tournaments ran alongside the opening salvos of three massive events—the ₹10 Crores GTD NPS#191 Main Event, the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush, and the ₹5 Crores GTD NPS#147 Mini Main Event. It was a perfect storm for some serious poker fireworks.

The poker community responded with unrestrained enthusiasm! A monstrous 6,578 entries poured in across Sunday’s events, sending the combined prize pool skyrocketing to a jaw-dropping ₹3.22 Crores. That’s a significant 11% above the already impressive ₹2.90 Crores that was on the table!

The overall statistics for NPS India 2025 are mind-boggling. A colossal ₹68.85 Crores in prize money has already been awarded, crushing the ₹61.70 Crores initially guaranteed at this stage. And there’s still over ₹38 Crores in prize money waiting to be won in the final eight days, promising some truly life-altering payouts as the series’ most anticipated headliners reach their dramatic conclusions.

Amidst the throes of intense action that defined this Sunday at the NPS India 2025, N S Nageshwari had a day that dreams are made of. Nageshwari scored an epic win in the NPS#140 Sunday Slam, claiming their first major flagship title (his second title overall) and an eye-popping ₹11.92 Lakhs. This was more than 13 times their previous best score! A complete breakthrough that boosted his account on PokerBaazi well into profitability and ended a six-month title drought. The win also landed Nageshwari a coveted NPS Gold Medal, making him the eighth player from Tamil Nadu to strike Gold at NPS India 2025 and elevating him to #7 on the state leaderboard.

Nikshit Lunia, a PokerBaazi regular since way back in August 2016, took the runner-up spot in the NPS#140 Sunday Slam. It was a career-best performance for Lunia as well, pocketing a massive ₹8.28 Lakhs. He also snagged his first NPS medal (a shiny Silver) and amazingly wiped out about 75% of his previous platform losses, jumping to #44 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

Tarush Gupta continued his scorching run at the NPS India 2025, adding another Bronze Medal to his overflowing trophy case for finishing third in the Sunday Slam. This became Gupta’s seventh career NPS medal, his fourth of the series, and earned him a cool ₹6.32 Lakhs. He’s now one of only ten players to win four or more medals in this series, skyrocketing him to #3 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard. Gupta cashed in two additional NPS events for a grand Sunday total nearing ₹6.55 Lakhs. He’s now #8 on the PokerBaazi 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard, #14 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, and has officially crossed the monumental ₹9 Crore mark in tracked online winnings.

Arush Pratap also delivered a breathtaking performance, winning his second Gold Medal in the ongoing series by conquering the NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff, banking a career-best ₹8.55 Lakhs. This win made him one of only 27 players to earn three or more medals this series. His total earnings for the night, amplified by deep runs in three other NPS events, topped ₹8.90 Lakhs. He’s now #2 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard (tied with two other players, all at 25 points) and has jumped to #19 in the PokerBaazi 2025 POY race and #41 on the NPS Series Leaderboard.

Sumit Sapra, a seasoned campaigner and three-time NPS Gold Medallist from Chandigarh, kept his hot streak alive, taking the Silver Medal in the Sunday Kickoff and adding a significant ₹6 Lakhs to his bankroll. This was his second medal of the series and his seventh NPS medal overall, strengthening his position at the top of the Punjab State Leaderboard. Sapra’s consistent performance is vital as he strives to get his state into the top 12, earning a berth in the National Poker Champion face-off in Goa. His total Sunday earnings from five NPS cashes were just over ₹6.52 Lakhs.

Raghav Ananth also made some serious noise, taking home the Bronze Medal in the NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff – his second Bronze of the series. He collected ₹4.58 Lakhs for his third-place finish. Ananth’s total Sunday take, bolstered by two other deep runs, was almost ₹4.75 Lakhs. This pushed him up to #13 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

Anurag Kureel reaffirmed his dominance on the NPS India stage, snatching his second NPS Gold Medal by winning the NPS#139 Knockout (KO). This victory ended a six-week dry spell and marked his eleventh title win of 2025, also his biggest to date with a handsome ₹5.99 Lakhs prize—almost double his previous highest earning. This win not only added to his impressive list of wins but also vaulted him to #12 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard. His performance earlier in the day, nearly reaching the final table in the NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT and earning ₹1.12 Lakhs, brought his Sunday winnings to over ₹7.10 Lakhs, making it his best day yet of his online journey.

Breathing down Kureel’s neck throughout the NPS#139 Knockout was Arbaaz Ahmed from Karnataka, a skilled player known for his runner-up finish at the December 2023 EndBoss 7.0 and a previous NPS Gold Medal winner himself. Ahmed nearly clinched his second NPS Gold but ended up with a Silver Medal, taking home ₹4.25 Lakhs. This was his third Silver and fifth NPS medal overall, pushing him to #14 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

Rounding out the NPS#139 Knockout (KO) podium was ‘gladiatorp,’ a relatively new player on the circuit, active since October 2024, who earned their first NPS medal, a Bronze, and a personal-best ₹3.20 Lakhs. This erased nearly 40% of their past losses and launched them to the #2 spot on the Chhattisgarh State Leaderboard.

Wilson Yomso, a recent Gold Medallist from Arunachal Pradesh (Won NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹3.91 Lakhs) and Jammu & Kashmir’s Mukesh Kumar (Won NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹5.60 Lakhs) also joined the Gold Medal club on Sunday.

The National Poker Series India 2025 continues to thrill with its inter-state rivalry fueling the competitive spirit across the board. Maharashtra still leads the charge, with a mighty total of 85 medals (25 Gold, 28 Silver, 32 Bronze). Delhi is hot on their heels with 67 medals (23 Gold, 24 Silver, 20 Bronze), determined to narrow the gap, while Uttar Pradesh holds a strong third position with 46 medals (15 Gold, 19 Silver, 12 Bronze), each state reflecting the fierce competition that defines this series.

On the NPS Series Leaderboard, Bhanu Prakash KC remains the one to catch, with a colossal 29,764 points from 112 cashes and five medals. Vinay Rajpal is in hot pursuit with 27,059 points from a staggering 122 cashes. Rising Star Aman Parakh holds onto third place with 25,233 points from 105 cashes. These top three are showing incredible endurance and consistency, having played nearly every single event in this month-long poker extravaganza!

While the NPS India 2025 continues to captivate the poker community, the action isn’t confined to just PokerBaazi. Natural8 India and Adda52 also hosted some serious poker battles. Vaibhav Temani made a splash on Natural8 India, finishing a very respectable fourth in the Bounty Hunters Circuit Freezeout 108. He battled through a massive field of 2,487 entrants to collect ₹9.04 Lakhs – his best score of the year on the platform and his fourth biggest overall.

Ashish Ahuja ruled the roost in the Adda52 Big Whale, claiming a whopping ₹8.05 Lakhs first-place prize. He almost pulled off an amazing back-to-back Adda52 double, finishing third in the Sunday Head Hunter for ₹1.17 Lakhs. With three more deep runs, Ahuja’s total Sunday winnings were a staggering ₹9.81+ Lakhs. Rising Star Ritwik Khanna, already a three-time NPS India 2025 medalist (2 Silver, 1 Bronze), has been a force of nature on PokerBaazi. Fresh off a ₹25.03 Lakhs runner-up finish in the NPS#143 HighRoller, he switched gears to Adda52, scoring ₹6.92 Lakhs for a second-place finish in the Big Whale—his third-biggest score of 2025. With six deep runs, Khanna’s Sunday winnings soared past ₹8.09 Lakhs.

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra, Rubin Labroo, Ravi Kumar Chandran, Arjanveer Singh Chadha, Myron Pereira, and Ambika Chowdhury also scored big wins in the other Sunday flagship events across the major platforms.

Here are the Sunday highlights!

The National Poker Series India 2025 returned with a vengeance this weekend, shaking off the Holi break that gave both players and us at PokerGuru a chance to recharge before the final, fiery stretch. Day 21, the series’ fourth Sunday, wasn’t just a return – it was an intensification, proving that the momentum is only building as it enters its crucial final stages.

With the series reaching its critical point, the second-to-last Sunday was an absolute poker maelstrom! Five high-energy tournaments ran alongside the starting flights of three gigantic events: the ₹10 Crores GTD NPS#191 Main Event (Qualifier 1), the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush (Qualifier 1), and the ₹5 Crores GTD NPS#147 Mini Main Event (Qualifiers 8 & 9 Turbo). This wasn’t just another Sunday; it was a full-blown poker explosion.

The players responded with unrestrained force. A mind-boggling 6,578 entries across all events sent the day’s prize pool soaring to an insane ₹3.22 Crores – a significant 11% leap over the guaranteed ₹2.90 Crores!

The numbers at NPS India 2025 are entering the stratosphere. With an astounding 189,325 total entries, the series has already dished out a staggering ₹68.85 Crores in prize money, effortlessly blowing past the ₹61.70 Crores guaranteed at this stage. And hold on tight—over ₹38 Crores is still in play in the final eight days, promising ludicrous payouts as some of the biggest NPS showstoppers reach their climax in the coming week.

The state-vs-state rivalry remains a central narrative of the series. Maharashtra, displaying consistent strength and a deep bench, topped the day’s medal count (for the 11th time in 21 days), adding three more medals, including one Gold. This further cemented their dominant lead in the overall standings, with a mighty total of 85 medals (25 Gold, 28 Silver, 32 Bronze). Delhi remains a tenacious challenger, holding 67 medals (23 Gold, 24 Silver, 20 Bronze), while Uttar Pradesh sits a distant third with 46 medals (15 Gold, 19 Silver, 12 Bronze).

Sunday nights are synonymous with epic showdowns, and this one was a genuine blockbuster! The ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#140 Sunday Slam—the 15th tournament of the series boasting an eight-figure prize pool—was the undisputed highlight of the night, drawing poker warriors from all corners of the country.

At the eye of this Sunday night hurricane was N S ‘Vadakdestroyer’ Nageshwari, a Tamil Nadu player who’d been quietly honing his skills for almost a year. But he wasn’t just playing this time—he was making history!

Firing three bullets in the 7 PM Sunday Slam, Nageshwari battled through a colossal 1,081-entry field (556 unique) in a nearly 10-hour poker marathon. When the smoke cleared at around 5 AM, he stood triumphant, capturing his first major flagship title (and second career title) in spectacular fashion! The crowning glory was a life-altering ₹11.92 Lakhs payday—a mind-boggling 13X+ improvement on his previous best score, making him the day’s top earner and, in one fell swoop, turning him profitable on PokerBaazi!

This wasn’t just another win—it was a redemption story. Shattering a six-month title drought, Nageshwari’s victory earned him his first-ever NPS medal, a gleaming Gold, adding a golden touch to his growing poker story. With this win, he became the eighth player from Tamil Nadu to strike Gold at the NPS India 2025 and leapt to #7 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

Riding the wave of his success, Nageshwari also snagged a Day 2 seat in the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush, setting himself up for another potential deep run.

The Holi festivities (and the inevitable recovery time) had hardly ended before the NPS India 2025 came roaring back, the guarantee-crushing momentum continuing with a weekend of fiery poker action. After a colossal Saturday, capped by the ₹2 Crore GTD NPS #134 HighRoller’s grand finale, Sunday unleashed another wave of high-stakes action: five flagship tournaments and four pulse-pounding qualifiers, ensuring the penultimate weekend of this historic series lived up to the hype.

Among the many incredible performances, one name blazed brighter than the rest—Arush ‘arush20000’ Pratap. If anyone questioned his abilities, last night served as a definitive answer. He’d already tasted NPS Gold in the NPS#15 Slamdunk and grabbed a Silver in the NPS#99 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT just weeks earlier, and Pratap returned to prove his recent dominance was no flash in the pan!

Arush Pratap
Arush Pratap

He chose the ₹75 Lakhs GTD NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff as his proving ground, and he dominated it like a warrior. The 2:30 PM tournament, boasting a ₹5,750 buy-in, attracted a sprawling 1,489 entries (794 unique), launching Sunday’s NPS action. It evolved into an eleven-hour poker marathon, a test of endurance, strategy, and nerves of steel – and Pratap aced the test.

Pratap`s path wasn’t a simple coronation, though. Two early bullets missed their targets, forcing him to dig deep and reload. But instead of tilting, he returned with a vengeance – focused, calculated, and lethal. He cut through the field, outmanoeuvring seasoned pros and ambitious up-and-comers alike. When the final chip had been pushed, Pratap stood alone, a two-time NPS Gold Medal champion, celebrating a career-best ₹8.55 Lakhs payday. He’s now one of a select group of just 27 players with three or more medals in this series (18 with three medals, eight with four and only Bhanu Prakash KC and Mohit Bohra with five).

And the Sunday Kickoff glory wasn’t all. Deep runs in three other NPS flagship events boosted his total Sunday haul to a shade over ₹8.90 Lakhs. This incredible performance had a ripple effect. He’s now locked in a three-way battle at #2 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard, tied with Vikhyat Ahlawat at 25 points (Nitesh Katiyar at #3 is also at 25!). The shockwaves continued – Pratap jumped to #19 in the PokerBaazi 2025 POY race and now holds a strong #41 position on the NPS Series Leaderboard (with a remarkable 64 cashes across 114 tournaments played).

This budding star, who’s been steadily climbing the ranks for the past eight months, has indeed found his stride at the NPS. And at this rate, the battle for the top of the UP State Leaderboard – and the chance to represent the state in the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa next month – is going to be a no-holds-barred war!

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff for ₹8,55,000

> 125th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#140 Sunday Slam for ₹18,000

> 85th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹12,542

Pratap wasn’t the only star of the Sunday Kickoff. Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra, a seasoned veteran from Chandigarh, was also very much in contention. A three-time NPS Gold Medallist, Sapra had already made waves last week by clinching victory in the NPS#108 Monday Medley, bagging his first medal (Gold) in this series. With momentum on his side and an appetite for more glory, he set his sights on the NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff, aiming for a fourth career Gold.

Sumit Sapra
Sumit Sapra

Throughout the tournament, Sapra played with the trademark finesse that defines his game. Every decision, every bet, every calculated gamble reflected his years of experience. But poker, as we know, is a fickle mistress, and the top spot remained just out of reach. Still, true champions recognize victory in every challenge, and Sapra’s determination earned him the Silver Medal – his second medal of this NPS and an incredible seventh overall. His runner-up finish delivered a hefty ₹6 Lakhs payday for his two entries—his second-largest score on the platform this year, extending his lead at the top of the Punjab State Leaderboard. However, with his state languishing at #11 in the national rankings, the pressure is on to deliver more medals in the final week to guarantee a spot in the top 12 and qualify for the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa.

Sapra’s competitive spirit didn’t end there. Cash finishes in four other NPS events brought his total Sunday winnings to a delicious sum, just a hair over ₹6.52 Lakhs.

Then there’s Raghav ‘scambrahm’ Ananth, a name well-known in the poker community, who’s been steadily climbing the ranks over the past two years, building his reputation with each deep run. On Sunday, he added another significant achievement, earning his second Bronze Medal of the series in the Sunday Kickoff, mirroring his podium finish in NPS#116 (7-Max) SPRINT. While he didn’t reach the top, his strong performance yielded a well-deserved ₹4.58 Lakhs—his fourth-largest score on the platform and the eighth-highest of his career.

Beyond his success in the day`s opening NPS event, two additional strong finishes boosted his Sunday winnings to nearly ₹4.75 Lakhs. His strong showing didn’t just translate to prize money – Ananth also made a significant leap on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard, climbing to #13.

The NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff’s final table was a shark tank of talent and ambition. Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal, currently #2 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, finished fourth, adding ₹3.34 Lakhs to his bankroll after two entries. NPS#53 Sunday Smash Silver Medallist and Poker Sports League Founder and CEO Pranav ‘Salmon123’ Bagai finished fifth, with a ₹2.42 Lakhs payday, Arun ‘vazharmorghulis’ Sriram took sixth, banking ₹1.68 Lakhs, and Zeshan ‘Deez49’ Hamza, a finalist in both NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle and NPS#100 (PLO-6) Knockout (PKO), placed eighth, collecting ₹1.07 Lakhs.

The NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff was the perfect start to another explosive day of poker at the NPS India 2025. Though the ₹5,750 buy-in event saw a minor overlay of ₹55,000, it simply meant added value for the 248 players who cashed, each grabbing at least ₹9,000, keeping the energy high in the final leg of this unforgettable series.

The penultimate weekend of the NPS India 2025 roared back after a refreshing Holi break, continuing the series’ explosive run. It’s full steam ahead as we charge towards the final week of action! Sunday saw five massive tournaments, plus four Qualifiers, and a fresh batch of champions – some new faces, some familiar ones – seizing those gleaming Gold Medals.

Among those five victors, a remarkable three were already former Gold Medalists, including the determined Anurag ‘AGENTP52’ Kureel! This long-time regular has been on an absolute roll this year, already boasting an incredible ten wins in the low-to-mid stakes. But for someone who’s been grinding the NPS since the get-go, diligently playing satellites to get into the bigger events, last night brought a long-awaited and well-deserved breakthrough.

Anurag Kureel
Anurag Kureel

Kureel got back on the winning track after nearly a six-week title-less spell since his Midnight SPRINT victory last month, adding his eleventh title win of 2025 and his biggest by a long shot. With relentless determination, this low-to-mid-stakes regular and satellite warrior has been steadily building his bankroll, one step at a time. And that grit finally paid off gloriously. In a nail-biting, down-to-the-wire finale, he conquered PokerBaazi’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS#139 Knockout (KO), seizing his second-ever NPS Gold (his first of this series)!

As the evening rolled in, 804 players (for a total of 1,621 entries) swarmed the PokerBaazi tables for the 6:30 PM NPS#139 Knockout (KO). Kureel, making a statement, fired a staggering six bullets after a terrible start. That’s a ₹27,600 investment, and he was determined to make it count. He endured almost 10.5 hours of gruelling, high-pressure poker. Then, just before 5 AM, he stood alone, the undisputed champion, adding a second NPS Gold Medal to his growing collection. He also pocketed a career-high ₹5.99 Lakhs (₹8,800 in bounties) – nearly doubling his previous best score! Safe to say, his return on investment was pretty sweet.

But this win was about more than just money. This sent him blasting to #12 on the fiercely competitive Maharashtra State Leaderboard. Hours before this victory, he almost reached the final table in the 3:30 PM NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, bubbling in fifth place for ₹1.12 Lakhs. The day was Kureel’s best one yet, and along with adding a precious Gold Medal to his collection, he took in winnings totalling over ₹7.10 Lakhs.

Anurag Kureel’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹68.98 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹22.21 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #11 | Moves to #12 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹17.02 Lakhs

Breathing down Kureel’s neck in the Knockout was Arbaaz ‘Abbc’ Ahmed, the December 2023 EndBoss 7.0 runner-up and an NPS India 2024 Gold Medalist from Karnataka, who already had a Bronze Medal from the NPS#78 Megadive earlier in this series. He came this close to snagging his second NPS Gold but ultimately took second place for a handsome ₹4.25 Lakhs (₹9,600 in bounties), his third Silver Medal (his second medal of the series and fifth overall). Ahmed now finds himself perched at #14 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

Joining Kureel and Ahmed on the NPS#139 Knockout (KO) podium was ‘gladiatorp’ from Chhattisgarh, a player who’s only been active since October 2024. They fired two bullets in the Knockout event and earned their first-ever NPS medal, a shiny Bronze, boosting their growing reputation and pocketing a site-best ₹3.20 Lakhs (₹3,200 in bounties) – erasing nearly 40% of their past losses on the platform. This podium finish made them only the third medalist from their state, shooting them straight up to #2 on the Chhattisgarh State Leaderboard.

gladiatorp’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹17.88 Lakhs | Moves to #2 on the Chhattisgarh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹6.16 Lakhs

Madhab ‘madhabpal2017’ Pal, ranked #9 on the West Bengal State Leaderboard and an NPS India 2024 Gold Medallist, also made an appearance at the NPS#139 Knockout (KO) final table. He already had two medals in this series, a Silver in NPS#65 (PLO-5) and a Bronze in NPS#110 Slamdunk. He finished sixth for a commendable ₹1.30 Lakhs (₹13,600 in bounties), just missing out on adding a third medal to his haul.

And, continuing the series’ trend of smashing expectations, NPS#139 Knockout (KO) was another monster hit, generating a gigantic ₹64.84 Lakhs prize pool – those bounties were clearly too tempting to resist, making it one of the biggest Sunday successes for the NPS, blowing past its guarantee by almost 30%! The top 260 finishers got a slice of the action, earning a minimum of ₹5,706, plus any bounties they could grab. Day 21 of NPS India 2025 was another day of pure, unadulterated poker excitement, and it’s only a taste of what’s still to come as this epic series barrels towards its final week.

The NPS India 2025 kept the adrenaline pumping on Sunday, and the night’s grand finale, the ₹40 Lakhs GTD NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT, was a fitting climax. Kicking off at 8:30 PM, this flagship event was a player magnet, drawing a whopping 1,206 entries (599 unique). Despite the massive field, a champion was crowned in under seven hours (six hours and 48 minutes, to be precise) of high-octane play.

In the end, Mukesh ‘gdgdg’ Kumar snagged his first-ever NPS Gold Medal and a career-best ₹5.60 Lakhs payday (edging out the ₹5 Lakhs he won from a runner-up finish in The Endeavour last December) – and in doing so, he put Jammu and Kashmir firmly on the medal map with their second Gold!

Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar

For Kumar, this win was a long time coming. His last win was way back in March 2023 in the BSS HighRoller. He’d participated in 24 tournaments this series, cashing in 13 of them, but the final table had remained just out of reach – until now, and boy, did he make it count. Kumar fired six bullets to get there, but it was all worth it in the end, as he made his first-ever NPS final table appearance a golden one!

With an additional deep run in the NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff (65th for ₹23,250), his total Sunday take-home reached almost ₹5.83 Lakhs, offering a welcome respite from a rough patch he’d been experiencing over the past three years. This win also launched him to #2 on the Jammu & Kashmir State Leaderboard with 10 points, now neck-and-neck with fellow Gold Medallist Siddharth Jolly, the current state leaderboard topper, with Avish Sharma standing as the only other player from the state with a medal.

Mukesh Kumar’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹97.14 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #2 on the Jammu & Kashmir State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹10.10 Lakhs

But Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat, last week’s NPS#105 Slamdunk Gold Medal winner, nearly crashed Kumar’s celebration, coming incredibly close to clinching his second Gold of this series in the NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT. This 2024 POY #11 has been on fire all year, and he brought that same intensity to his Sunday grind! He fired three bullets but fell just short in the heads-up duel, grabbing the Silver Medal (his second medal of the series and fifth overall) and boosting his bankroll with a sweet ₹3.91 Lakhs.

Neeraj Sattawat
Neeraj Sattawat

Sattawat, as is his custom, played a full schedule, and his total Sunday winnings across four NPS events climbed to over ₹4.74 Lakhs, pushing him to #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard with 15 points, trailing the formidable Shagun Jain, who still leads with 19 points. Sattawat’s deep runs also helped him cruise past ₹50 Lakhs in lifetime NPS earnings.

Completing the podium in the NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT, Narender ‘Char8’ Ahalawat captured his first medal of the series (Bronze) – adding to his collection that includes a Silver (NPS#26 Slamdunk) and Bronze (NPS#114 Megadive) from last year, pocketing ₹3 Lakhs – his second-biggest career score, trailing only his third-place finish in The Summit in January for ₹3.85 Lakhs! His Sunday winnings clocked in at over 3.42 Lakhs across deep runs in five NPS events, and he even made Day 2 in the NPS#191 Main Event with the sixth-biggest stack from Qualifier 1, now sitting at #24 on the Haryana State Leaderboard!

The NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT final table was a hotbed of talent, featuring regulars riding high on momentum, like the NPS#64 Deepdive Silver Medallist Debapriya ‘detulelungikhul’ Manna (5th for ₹1.60 Lakhs), satellite qualifier and NPS#106 (PLO-5) Bronze Medallist Amit ‘kavipri’ Gehani (6th for ₹1.17 Lakhs), and the NPS#90 Slamdunk Gold Medallist Drish ‘dpatron’ Aggarwal (7th for ₹91,174).

With a ₹4,600 buy-in, the NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT obliterated its guarantee, generating a tempting ₹48.24 Lakhs prize pool – over 20% more than the promised ₹40 Lakhs. The top 201 finishers walked away with at least ₹7,718—1.7 times their initial buy-in, continuing the trend of record-breaking action in this legendary series.

NPS India 2025 is playing out like a blockbuster poker movie, and Sunday delivered another action-packed scene to this historic series. Among the many warriors vying for poker glory, five champions stood tall, and one of them was Wilson ‘kalingkaling’ Yomso. The Arunachal Pradesh ace, known for sporting flamboyant hairstyles that are as loud as his poker game, might’ve had a quiet start to the series, but he’s turned into a gold-collecting machine. And he did it again on this particular Sunday, just two days after dominating the NPS#128 Megadive.

Wilson Yomso
Wilson Yomso

With the focus of a seasoned gladiator, Yomso outgunned a field of 544 players, which exploded to a massive 1,361 total entries in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT. The battle in this 3:30 PM afternoon clash was swift and brutal, a high-speed poker shootout that lasted just over four hours. But when the last chip was pushed, it was Yomso standing triumphant, claiming his second Gold Medal of the series and his third overall NPS podium appearance.

Yomso pocketed a cool ₹3.91 Lakhs for his dominance after firing two bullets. But for Yomso, it’s about more than just the cash—it was about establishing a legacy. His latest conquest further extended his command atop the Arunachal Pradesh State Leaderboard, the state now flaunting three Golds and one Silver, all thanks to Yomso’s heroics. He also leapt to #7 on the overall NPC Leaderboard.

Staying true to his workhorse reputation, Yomso didn’t settle for a single deep run. He cashed in three other NPS events and even punched his ticket to Day 2 of the NPS#147 Mini Main Event via Qualifier 9. By the time the night ended, his Sunday earnings had reached a sweet tune close to ₹4.35 Lakhs from four deep runs.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹3,91,288

> 81st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#140 Sunday Slam for ₹23,000

> 182nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#139 Knockout (KO) for ₹12,906

> 166th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹7,718

> Made Day 2 in PokerBaazi’s NPS#147 Mini Main Event (Qualifier 9)

Wilson Yomso’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.07 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹31.70 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2 (across all platforms) | Ranked #1 on the Arunachal Pradesh State Leaderboard | Moves to #7 on the NPC Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold & 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹20.63 Lakhs

But Yomso had to earn this victory because standing in his path to Gold was none other than Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan, a poker heavyweight and the 2023 POY runner-up. Narayan has been relatively under the radar in 2025, his last significant win being The Pride last August. However, this Kerala-based poker shark had already tasted NPS success, claiming Silver in the NPS#47 Slamdunk two weeks earlier, and he came painfully close to ending his seven-month title drought in the NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT.

Sreekanth Narayan
Sreekanth Narayan

Narayan is a fearsome competitor when he builds momentum, and he was in prime form on Sunday, outmanoeuvring a brutal field and taking down some of the game’s elite. Once more, he found himself in a heads-up battle, this time facing the scorching-hot Wilson Yomso. It was a confrontation worthy of the NPS legacy—charged, tactical, and packed with make-or-break moments. But Yomso refused to yield, and Narayan had to contend with another second-place finish.

While the Gold eluded him, Narayan’s performance was still remarkable. He collected a handsome ₹2.73 Lakhs, using two entries, claiming his second Silver Medal of the series (he had no medals in previous NPS editions).

But his Sunday grind didn’t stop there. His deep runs across three other events saw his total Sunday winnings swell to almost ₹3.15 Lakhs. More significantly, his consistent performance ensured he maintained his grip on the top spot of the Kerala State Leaderboard, a state that desperately needs to up its medal game if it hopes to crack the top 12 and earn a spot in the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa.

Ishita ‘Warrior08’ Arora, a former 2024 NPS#52 Sunday Kickoff Gold Medal winner, also made a spirited run on Sunday night, getting within grasping distance of her second Gold in the NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT. While she couldn’t close it out, she still managed a respectable third-place finish, pocketing ₹2.10 Lakhs for two entries (her sixth-largest score on the platform) and claiming her first medal of the series (Bronze)—her second medal overall. This boosted her to #6 on the Chandigarh State Leaderboard

While that medal breakthrough was a definite boost, she further padded her earnings with three more deep runs, cashing in two other NPS tournaments for a total Sunday take-home exceeding ₹2.28 Lakhs, and she even punched her ticket to Day 2 in the NPS#147 Mini Main Event.

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹2,09,934

Sriram ‘Srinegs9210’ Subramanian also delivered a standout performance, completing the NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT final table in fourth place, good for ₹1.54 Lakhs from his four entries.

The ₹2,875 buy-in NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT was another massive success story for NPS India 2025. It obliterated its guarantee, creating a gigantic ₹34.03 Lakhs prize pool – over 36% more than promised. Since his last victory in Junglee Poker’s Tuesday Phoenix in July 2024, this online regular—and dedicated PokerStars India grinder—has been quietly honing his skills, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Last night, Chandran unleashed a poker storm in the Sunday Special Knockout (sporting a trimmed ₹12 Lakhs GTD). In the 7:30 PM flagship event, Chandran outmanoeuvred a packed field of 228 players in a gruelling 7.5-hour war of attrition. When the final river card fell, Chandran, the BBS#33 Sunday Special Knockout runner-up, stood tall, seizing his first title of the year and a stunning ₹2.73 Lakhs (₹1.64 Lakhs in bounties) top prize – his biggest ever score on the platform!

While Chandran stole the spotlight, the enigmatic ‘ThatsAllIn,’ the 2022 Galactic Series-32 [Sunday Highroller] podium finisher, was a tireless hunter. They fought with grit and determination, chasing Chandran to the bitter end. Despite their fierce efforts, ‘ThatsAllIn’ had to settle for the runner-up spot, collecting a site-best ₹1.67 Lakhs (₹58,663 in bounties).

The Sunday Special Knockout final table was packed with notables, including last night’s Adda52 Sunday Big Slick runner-up and Spartan Poker’s Spotlight champion Ambika ‘IronThronee’ Chowdhury (6th for ₹36,833) and the Azadi Series Main Event podium finisher ‘happypunter’ (8th for ₹32,275).

The ₹5,750 buy-in Sunday Special Knockout delivered on its promise, offering incredible value with a juicy ₹60,000 overlay! The top 23 players shared in the treasure, with many others grabbing lucrative bounties, making it a night of explosive, high-octane poker action on Junglee Poker.

While the poker community was fixated on the penultimate weekend of the gargantuan ₹100 Crores GTD NPS India 2025, scorching the PokerBaazi felt, Adda52 defiantly refused to fade into the background. It fired back with its own salvo of high-octane flagships, led by the climactic finale of the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Big Whale.

And what a final showdown it was! This high-stakes arena witnessed some cutthroat competition, but Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja (opted out of our tracking) proved to be the apex predator, devouring the field and sinking his teeth into a massive ₹8.05 Lakhs first-place prize after dismantling a murderer’s row of a final table.

Ashish Ahuja
Ashish Ahuja

Ahuja, a beloved regular at PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit,’ roared back to top form after a somewhat quiet February (aside from snagging a Gold Medal in the NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper). This win followed his January hot streak, where he conquered PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 and finished runner-up in Adda52’s Iron Man.

The Big Whale was a veritable feeding frenzy, drawing 841 entries (460 unique) across five starting flights that stretched all the way through the weekend. Only 106 players survived the initial onslaught to return for the final brawl at 10 PM on Sunday. In a field teeming with seasoned professionals and hungry up-and-comers, Ahuja stood firm, played his cards right, and ultimately claimed the throne – along with the juiciest cut of the prize pool.

As if that weren’t enough, he nearly achieved a breathtaking back-to-back Adda52 double, coming agonizingly close in the Sunday Head Hunter, finishing third for a very respectable ₹1.17 Lakhs (₹25,821 in bounties). This brought his total Adda52 winnings for the night a staggering ₹9.22 Lakhs, establishing him as the undisputed boss of the platform!

And the man still wasn’t finished. The Chandigarh-based pro also squeezed in scores from three NPS events on PokerBaazi, padding his bankroll with another ₹59,143 and boosting his Sunday total to a staggering sum exceeding ₹9.81 Lakhs.

> 1st in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹8,05,332

> 3rd in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹1,16,567* (₹25,821 in bounties)

> 14th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹44,380

> 118th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#139 Knockout (KO) for ₹8,299

> 149th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#!38 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹6,464

Rising Star Ritwik ‘ritwik27’ Khanna has been an absolute wrecking ball on PokerBaazi lately, already sporting three NPS medals (2 Silver & 1 Bronze). Just a night earlier, he’d pocketed a jaw-dropping ₹25.03 Lakhs as the runner-up in the NPS#143 HighRoller. On Sunday, he turned his attention to Adda52, making a deep run in the Big Whale, again finishing second, this time for ₹6.92 Lakhs—his third-biggest score of 2025. Khanna’s Sunday exploits totalled over ₹8.09 Lakhs from six impressive runs. This unbelievable weekend, with winnings exceeding ₹33.37 Lakhs, has suddenly made this Noida-based poker dynamo a serious Player of the Year contender.

Tanay ‘rujula16’ Kauntia, fresh off a podium finish in Saturday’s Holdem Bash and a runner-up finish in the Big Whale two weeks ago, took fourth place for ₹3.32 Lakhs. Thursday’s Mystery Bounty champion ‘SPRINT King’ Pradip ‘Nit2Donk’ Ghosh finished fifth for ₹2.41 Lakhs. February’s Big Whale champ, Saurabh ‘saurabh21’ Rohila, landed in sixth place for ₹1.75 Lakhs, while veteran player Phanindra ‘iluvpoker’ Akkina placed seventh, collecting ₹1.27 Lakhs.

With the NPS India 2025 sucking up most of the oxygen from the online poker scene, other platforms have consistently seen overlays – a trend that’s become the new normal since the series kicked off. Even the Big Whale couldn’t escape, falling short of its lofty guarantee by a glaring ₹7.95 Lakhs, creating a juicy overlay for the players to exploit. The top 106 finishers locked in a minimum payout of ₹15,953—nearly 2.7 times the initial ₹5,750 buy-in, making for a value-rich Sunday session for many on one of India’s oldest and most respected online poker platforms.

Sunday night wasn’t just about the medal-hunting madness of the NPS India 2025; it was also a night of redemption, where Young Gun Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra finally cast off the “almost” and seized his first title win of 2025. Don’t be fooled – this long-time online crusher hasn’t been hibernating. He’d already racked up an insane 19 final table appearances, eight of which landed him on the podium, including a runner-up finish in Adda52’s The Mint and a Bronze Medal in PokerBaazi’s NPS#92 Relay just weeks ago!

But after so many near-misses, after coming so close so many times, he finally broke through last night, conquering Adda52’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions for a career-third time. And he didn’t stop there. He came within a heartbeat of back-to-back Sunday flagship victories, finishing runner-up in the Sunday Head Hunter and accumulating a staggering ₹7.71+ Lakhs from five deep runs! This majestic performance saw him blast past the illustrious ₹16 Crores mark in tracked online winnings, a feat achieved with style and flair!

Adda52 Millions was no cakewalk. It’s one of the toughest Sunday flagships around, and last night`s edition saw 197 entries (107 unique). But Mehrotra, like a poker general, moved through the competitive field with strategy and grace, outlasting a final table packed with fellow crushers before claiming the ₹5.01 Lakhs top prize, seizing the title in this signature Sunday flagship again!

And Mehrotra rode that tidal wave of momentum right into the Sunday Head Hunter, fighting through another packed field and reaching the final table again. This time, victory slipped through his fingers in the heads-up duel, but a ₹1.59 Lakhs payout added even more sparkle to his already dazzling Sunday run.

Mehrotra’s Sunday achievements include:

> 1st in Adda52 Millions for ₹5,00,987

> 2nd in Adda52`s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹1,59,028

> 10th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff for ₹85,500

> 87th in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹15,953

> 154th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#141 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹9,648

> Made Day 2 in PokerBaazi’s NPS#191 Main Event (Qualifier 1)

Sanat Mehrotra’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹16.05 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹5.91 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1

While Mehrotra was busy dominating the Adda52 Million, fellow Young Gun and the legendary three-time online POY, Gaurav ‘BuildPuntOK’ Sood, was right there, nipping at his heels. India’s poker royalty, Sood, coming off a strong fourth-place finish in Saturday’s NPS#135 (7-Max) SPRINT, made a serious splash last night, even without landing a title.

Sood came within a whisker of his eighth win of 2025 (four of which were on Adda52, including an Adda52 Millions title last month). Finishing as the runner-up in the Adda52 Millions (which would have been his 11th victory in this Sunday flagship had he won), he grabbed a tidy ₹3.79 Lakhs!

Adding to his Sunday spoils, Sood made deep runs in six more events, ending his session with over ₹4.71 Lakhs added to his already overflowing coffers; with these scores, he sailed past the ₹12 Crores mark in recorded lifetime profits – a feat only equalled by Tarun Goyal, who is making an unbelievable run for matching Sood`s own record of winning back-to-back POY titles!

Sood`s top Sunday achievements include:

> 1st in Adda52 Millions for ₹3,78,963

> 35th in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹21,525

> 51st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#139 Knockout (KO) for ₹20,511

> 183rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#140 Sunday Slam for ₹18,000

Gaurav Sood’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi, PokerStars India and SpartanPoker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹23.24 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹12.02 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #8

The Adda52 Millions final table was a breathtaking spectacle. Some of the biggest names in the game, like two-time NPS India 2025 Gold Medallist Ankit ‘d00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan (3rd for ₹2.87 Lakhs), NPS#102 Big Knockout (KO) Gold Medallist Saransh ‘don004’ Garg (4th for ₹2.17 Lakhs), NPS#119 Deepdive Gold Medalist and March Leaderboard kingpin (currently #3 in the POY race) Ankit ‘imluckbox’ Bajaj (5th for ₹1.64 Lakhs) and Young Gun Shardul ‘vamos96’ Parthasarathi (6th for ₹1.24 Lakhs), all put on a clinic, making for a heart-stopping finish.

And with the NPS India 2025 drawing so much of the poker community’s attention, the ₹11,500 buy-in Adda52 Millions fell short of its advertised guarantee by a glaring ₹5.30 Lakhs. However, the ₹25 Lakhs prize pool still rewarded the top 27 finishers, who all walked away with at least ₹29,167, ensuring it was a profitable Sunday for many. Overall, it was a night of incredible value and big wins on Adda52!
