While the nation holds its breath for tomorrow’s ICC Champions Trophy finals clash between India and New Zealand, a different kind of battle – a spectacular poker showdown – unfolded on Friday. Day 13 of the National Poker Series India 2025 was a high-voltage, heart-stopping spectacle that yet again saw records shattered and legends made at this epic series. The virtual felt sizzled with energy as a massive 7,800 entries flooded the PokerBaazi tables, demolishing the ₹2.55 Crores guarantee and showering a staggering ₹2.65 Crores upon the worthy top finishers– an almost 7% increase driven by the sheer force of player participation.

Eighteen coveted NPS Medals, each a symbol of poker prowess and determination, were awarded. Six players seized the ultimate glory – Gold – forever etching their names into the NPS chronicles. Among these champions, four tasted victory for the first time, one added a second Gold to their collection, and an NPS legend captured an incredible seventh career Gold, further cementing his legacy!

The numbers tell a story of explosive growth. An unbelievable 123,370 entries in just 13 days! This isn’t mere participation; it’s a poker revolution. A breathtaking ₹43.53 Crores has already been awarded at the NPS India 2025, displaying the sheer magnitude of this poker phenomenon. This series isn’t just meeting expectations; it’s exceeding them in every conceivable way.

After Delhi’s dominant performance on Thursday, Maharashtra roared back to capture the most medals on Day 13. However, the most prestigious Gold of the night belonged to Rajasthan, courtesy of Shagun Jain’s masterful display in the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle! This NPS icon pocketed a jaw-dropping ₹11.92 Lakhs for the win, along with his career-seventh NPS Gold Medal—the most by any player in NPS history! This also extended his record to a 13th overall NPS medal and his fourth of this series, making him the fourth player at the festival to reach that impressive four-medal milestone. The win catapulted him to #1 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard and #7 on the NPC Leaderboard, making him a serious contender for the first-ever National Poker Champion crown. Jain’s relentless grind saw him cash in three more events, bringing his Friday total to a jaw-dropping ₹12.13 Lakhs—the highest single-day haul of the night!

Karan Sitlani, on a quest for his third title of the year, put up a strong fight in the Friday Freestyle but had to be content with the Silver, earning ₹8.28 Lakhs—his second-biggest score ever on PokerBaazi. With deep runs in three other NPS events, the ‘High Roller Specialist`s total winnings for the night came to a handsome ₹8.26 Lakhs. WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved, still riding high from his second Gold Medal victory (his first of this series) in the NPS#67 Tuesday Tornado just days earlier, added another stellar result, grabbing third place for ₹6.32 Lakhs, along with his career-seventh NPS medal and first Bronze of the series. His total Friday winnings settled at ₹6.45 Lakhs.

Amit Saraff joined the ranks of the first-time Gold Medalists, and in grand style. He scored the biggest victory among them, taking down the NPS#88 Slamdunk for a career-best ₹6.33 Lakhs. This Haryana-based grinder, who hadn’t won a title on PokerBaazi since 2022, finally broke through with a dominating performance, soaring to #9 on the Haryana State Leaderboard. PokerGuru Staking coach Mithun Mahesh came close to his own maiden NPS Gold, finishing as the runner-up and collecting ₹4.42 Lakhs – his career-fourth Silver Medal and fifth NPS medal overall. Mahesh also made his presence felt in at least three other NPS events, with total Friday earnings of ₹4.61 Lakhs.

Poker vlogger Nitin Rawat, the celebrated WPT India Online Main Event champion from December, finally snapped his title-less streak in style, shipping the NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack for ₹3.58 Lakhs and his second career NPS Gold Medal. This much-anticipated win—his first of 2025—comes after a Bronze Medal finish in NPS#59 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT and a fifth-place run in Adda52’s The Mint earlier in the week. With two medals now, Rawat has climbed to #3 on the Delhi State Leaderboard. Rajat Sharma, a poker veteran boasting over ₹16 Crores in tracked online winnings, finally achieved his NPS breakthrough, finishing runner-up to claim his first-ever NPS Silver Medal and ₹2.47 Lakhs, taking his overall Friday winnings across two deep runs to just above ₹2.60 Lakhs.

Shiven Meena was another player who finally tasted that sweet NPS Gold, conquering the NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT for ₹3.41 Lakhs. This win added to his previous Silver Medal from NPS#66 Slamdunk, represents his third-best career score and helped push his total Friday winnings to over ₹3.81 Lakhs. With two medals in the bag, he’s sitting pretty at #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard. Sachit Malik, aiming to break a three-month title drought, came incredibly close, finishing runner-up to Meena for ₹2.39 Lakhs—his third-biggest score on the platform.

Day 13 of the NPS also celebrated two more players striking Gold for the first time! Chandigarh’s Daksh Kapoor bested the field in the NPS#84 Marathon for ₹2.55 Lakhs, while Delhi’s Yogesh Kumar triumphed in the NPS#86 Run-Up, adding ₹2.03 Lakhs to his bankroll.

The National Poker Champion (India) Leaderboard remains a battleground, with Maharashtra extending its dominance, crossing the remarkable 50-medal threshold! The state now leads with 55 medals—18 Gold, 16 Silver, and 21 Bronze. However, Delhi refuses to back down, trailing closely with 48 medals (15 Gold, 20 Silver, and 13 Bronze). Uttar Pradesh remains a contender in third place, holding 29 medals (10 Gold, 10 Silver, and 9 Bronze).

Meanwhile, the NPS Series Leaderboard is all about consistency and endurance. And leaderboard kingpin Bhanu Prakash KC continues his reign at the top with a staggering 20,160 points from 73 cashes. Vinay Rajpal is in hot pursuit, having accumulated 18,700 points from 80 cashes, keeping the race incredibly tight. A major shakeup saw Shagun Jain leap to #3 after his historic seventh Gold Medal win in the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle last night. Jain now boasts 16,330 points from 66 cashes, adding even more spice to the leaderboard chase.

Beyond the NPS arena, Friday saw a whirlwind of action across the other major platforms. Rishab Malik outplayed the competition in Adda52’s The Ballers, netting a cool ₹3.62 Lakhs. On Junglee Poker, ‘patwayash’ reigned supreme in the Friday Supernova, earning ₹1.43 Lakhs. Over at Spartan Poker, ‘Redwith9’ conquered the Supreme for ₹63,268, while ‘Harsh1903’ shipped Pocket52`s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo for ₹62,170.

Other marquee winners on Friday included Siddhant Singh, Ankita Ajay Malik, and Ambika Chowdhury.

Here are the Friday highlights!

The 100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025 is setting a blistering pace, and Day 13 was another explosive entry in this record-smashing series. The day saw a massive 7,800 entries pour in across six tournaments, plus Qualifier 2 of the 40 Lakhs GTD NPS#93 Freezeout and Qualifier 1 of the 1 Crore GTD NPS#127 Value Mine. The colossal turnout didn’t just hit the day’s ambitious 2.55 Crores guarantee – it crushed it. A staggering 2.65 Crores in prize money was distributed across the day, a nearly 4% increase!

This series has already been a gold rush. Bankrolls are exploding, with new and returning champions grabbing NPS glory and carving their names into the series’ history. Get this: a breathtaking 123,370 total entries have already generated an eye-popping 43.53 Crores in prize money – blowing away the promised 39.30 Crores guarantee – and we’re not even halfway through this 29-day poker saga! This is history in the making, and players are here for it.

It’s not just about individual fortunes; players are fighting for the honour of their state. And which state is dominating? Maharashtra. They’ve bagged the most NPS hardware for seven of the 13 days, stacking up 55 medals—18 Gold, 16 Silver, and 21 Bronze—cementing their place at the very top. Delhi isn’t slacking, though, having collected 48 medals (15 Gold, 20 Silver, 13 Bronze). Rajasthan also snagged two more Gold Medals last night, including one from the day’s headliner, the 1 Crore GTD NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle – the ninth of 21 tournaments with a prize pool of at least eight figures.

And the player who brought that honour home was none other than Jaipur’s poker juggernaut, Shagun ‘Sogani22’ Jain! This two-time Game Changer champion, the most decorated NPS medalist ever, extended his reign of terror at the NPS India 2025 by conquering the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle. He grabbed a career-seventh Gold Medal (his first of this series) and a record-extending 13th overall NPS medal (a stunning fourth medal of this series).

The 6:30 PM showstopper was a siren call, attracting 616 players (1,074 total entries), all with their eyes on the Gold and the seven-figure payday up top. The fight was intense, with chips and cards flying for a back-breaking 10.5+ hours! But Jain has been through countless battles, and he dominated this one too, adding another Gold to his legendary NPS run and pocketing a breathtaking 11.92 Lakhs. It was his third-largest score on PokerBaazi, his first NPS Gold Medal of the series, and also his first win on PokerBaazi this year, period. Something about the NPS just flips a switch in this guy!

This victory also made Jain the fourth player at the festival to win four medals (1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze). He has stormed to #1 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard, snatching the crown from Anish Vijayvergia (who only held it for a day!). This positions him as a serious threat for the National Poker Champion face-off in Goa – he’s now sitting pretty at #7 on the NPC Leaderboard.

Jain’s relentless power now puts him four medals ahead of the next all-time NPS medal winner (his good friend – the one and only Mohammad Azhar) and gives him two more Gold Medals than anyone else in NPS history. The NPS is his kingdom, and he rules it with an iron fist!

Mohammad Azhar

While that monster win would have been enough for most, this crusher wanted more. Jain played a full schedule, scoring three more cash finishes, bringing his Friday total to a jaw-dropping sum close to 12.13 Lakhs—the biggest single-day haul of the night! His exceptional play also launched him to #3 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, where he now sits with a mighty 16,330 points across 66 cashes. Jain is making a clear statement: the path to NPS glory goes directly through him.

The “High Roller Specialist,” Karan ‘collingwood’ Sitlani, was hunting for his third title of the year and his second career Gold Medal. He came this close in the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle. Firing two bullets, he almost took the whole thing down, but Jain proved to be an unbreakable force, so he had to settle for the Silver Medal (his first of the series, second Silver, and fourth medal overall) and a still-massive 8.28 Lakhs – his second-biggest score on PokerBaazi ever, catapulting him to #20 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

Karan Sitlani

And to make the final showdown truly legendary, WSOP bracelet winner and the brains behind one of India’s most dominant poker stables, Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved, also landed on the Friday Freestyle podium. He was aiming to add another medal to his already massive collection. Just days after winning his second career NPS Gold Medal in the NPS#67 Tuesday Tornado, Ved was gunning for his third Gold (second of the series) in the Friday Freestyle. He fired three bullets, and after almost getting to the end, he ended up taking third place, earning 6.32 Lakhs and his career-third NPS Bronze Medal (first of the series, seventh medal overall). This also made him one of the 40 players with multiple medals in the series, pushing him to #9 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

Living up to its billing, the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle final table was a battleground of India’s poker elite, featuring superstars like recent NPS#65 (PLO-5) and NPS#79 (PLO-5) finalist Vaibhav ‘vane_shado’ Temani (4th for 4.74 Lakhs), Monday’s NPS#61 (7-Max) SPRINT Gold Medallist Yohan ‘AllinMaestro’ Patel (5th for 3.42 Lakhs), Adda52’s inaugural Mystery Bounty champion Young Gun Siddhanth ‘ender’ Kripalani (6th for 2.54 Lakhs), and Zeshan ‘Deez49’ Hamza (7th for 1.90 Lakhs).

Other poker stars who made deep runs include last night’s Adda52 The Ballers champion Rishab ‘ryuk’ Malik (9th for 1.25 Lakhs), Jagat ‘jk307’ Bhandari (10th for 1.25 Lakhs), Vishal ‘Darky’ Ojha (12th for 1.25 Lakhs), Jeetu ‘G21982’ Surana (13th for 97,000), Bihar’s State Leaderboard frontrunner Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh (14th for 97,000), Young Gun Ujjal ‘M_Robot’ Narwal (15th for 97,000), Ram ‘mowgumotu’ Kakkar (16th for 97,000), and Kumar ’23offsuits’ Vatsal (20th for 71,000).

With a 10,350 buy-in, the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle was the hottest event and the biggest attraction of the day at the NPS, and an 3.34 Lakhs overlay meant there was even more value to be had. The advertised 1 Crore prize pool rained cash on the top 186 finishers, with everyone in the money taking home at least 18,000. The NPS India 2025 isn’t just heating up the online scene; it’s obliterating all expectations.

Buy-in – ₹4,600

Entries – 701

Re- entries – 676

Prize Pool – ₹55,08,000

Places Paid – 226

Day 13 of the NPS India 2025 kept the momentum blazing, with six tournaments (plus two Qualifiers) delivering a mind-blowing ₹2.65 Crores in prize money and 18 gleaming medals. While all eyes were on the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS#88 Slamdunk was brewing its own special brand of excitement.

The 8 PM NPS#88 Slamdunk supercharged the primetime action on PokerBaazi. The event saw a guarantee-obliterating 1,377 entries (701 unique) enter the fray. The path to those coveted medals was a minefield, a relentless slugfest that stretched for nine hours and 48 minutes. In the end, emerging as the champion was Amit ‘acesclub’ Saraff (opted out of our tracking), a Haryana-based player who clearly prefers to fly under the radar. Needing just one bullet, he captured his first-ever NPS Gold Medal and a career-best ₹6.33 Lakhs.

Amit Saraff
Amit Saraff

A PokerBaazi title had proven hard to come by for Saraff, with almost five years passing since he won The Crest in May 2022. That all changed in dramatic fashion last night. His previous best NPS finish was a fourth-place run in the 2024 NPS (6-Max) SPRINT, but in the NPS#88 Slamdunk, Saraff stared down a monstrous field and trampled over the competition flamboyantly. He now finds himself at #9 on the Haryana State Leaderboard.

Amit Saraf’s NPS Stats: Moves to #9 on the Haryana State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹8.52 Lakhs

Adding an extra punch to his win, he achieved this by edging out Mithun ‘thepokeraja’ Mahesh, denying the PokerGuru Staking coach his first-ever NPS Gold Medal. This Pocket52 PSL Season 6 ‘Star of the Season’ had previously come close to Gold in the 2024 NPS#134 Super HighRoller, and a cruel twist of fate saw history repeat itself in last night’s NPS#88 Slamdunk.

Mithun Mahesh
Mithun Mahesh

He’s been a constant presence on the NPS tables, recently finishing fourth in NPS#54 Big Knockout (PKO) on Sunday and fifth in NPS#67 Tuesday Tornado, but after using two entries in NPS#88 Slamdunk, he finally got that first big reward for the season. He collected his fourth-career Silver Medal (fifth medal overall, and his first of this series) and ₹4.42 Lakhs—his second-best score on PokerBaazi this year.

Like many other top players, Mahesh was a multi-tabling machine last night, scoring in at least three other NPS events, bringing his total Friday haul over ₹4.61 Lakhs. His consistent form sees him now at #21 on the Maharashtra State leaderboard.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#80 Slamdunk for ₹4,41,742

> 62nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday DeepStack for ₹9,300

> 148th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#86 Run-Up for ₹5,000

> 144th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT for ₹5,079

Mithun Mahesh’s NPS Stats: Moves to #21 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 4 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹61.51 Lakhs

And, as if that wasn’t dramatic enough, Mahesh shared the NPS#88 Slamdunk podium with his former stablemate, Vishal ‘Vishzz’ Bajaj, the “Indian GTO Machine.” Bajaj, fresh from winning his career-second NPS Gold in last week’s NPS#18 Marathon and a third-place finish in Adda52’s Big Whale this past Sunday, added a Bronze Medal to his growing collection, collecting ₹3.40 Lakhs in the process. Add to that a couple of cashes in the NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT (220th for ₹3,586) and the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle (144th for ₹18,000), and Bajaj’s Friday night take was bumped to over ₹3.61 Lakhs.

The NPS#88 Slamdunk final table was a den of regulars, featuring familiar names like the previous night’s NPS#78 Megadive Bronze Medalist Arbaaz ‘Abbc’ Ahmed (4th for ₹2.49 Lakhs), last night’s NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack fourth-place finisher Rishabh ‘13rishabh’ Harsh (5th for ₹1.81 Lakhs), the always-consistent Mayank ‘Newsolidcash’ Maruka (6th for ₹1.32 Lakhs), and Ajay ‘ClassMonitor’ Singh (8th for ₹78,764).

The NPS#88 Slamdunk was one of the biggest hits at the NPS for the day, adding a whopping ₹5.08 Lakhs on top of the guaranteed ₹50 Lakhs in the prize pool. This juicy boost meant that the top 226 finishers walked away with at least ₹7,711, a tidy 1.7 times return on their initial ₹4,600 buy-in. If Friday’s fireworks are any indication, the NPS India 2025 is just getting warmed up as it barrels towards its midpoint.

The NPS India 2025 has been a record-breaker, and as it hits the two-week point of its 29-day marathon today, Day 13 delivered a six-tournament punch (along with Qualifiers for the NPS#93 Freezeout and NPS#127 Value Mine) – serving up another day of non-stop, edge-of-your-seat action!

While the massive ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle, the 7 PM headliner, was waiting in the wings, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack kicked things off with an afternoon poker brawl that lasted over nine intense hours, extending well past midnight!

And this is where poker vlogger Nitin ‘Gambler42’ Rawat crashed the party. He outlasted a loaded field of 1,177 entries (540 unique players) in this 4 PM flagship, grabbing his second NPS Gold Medal (his first this time around!) and the hefty ₹3.58 Lakhs up top. This win was a long time coming – his first of 2025 – after taking down the prestigious WPT India Online Main Event title in December.

Nitin Rawat
Nitin Rawat

It’s a sure-fire confidence boost after settling for Bronze in the NPS#59 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT on Monday and another fifth-place run in Adda52’s The Mint just a day later. This was not only his best score of the year, but with two medals now, he’s shot up to #3 on the Delhi State Leaderboard, quickly closing in on the seemingly unstoppable Anurag Srivastava (with 2 Golds and 1 Bronze – which he won in this very event) and Saahib Bawa (with 1 Gold and 1 Silver)!

Anurag Srivastava
Anurag Srivastava

Rawat also made deep runs in the NPS#84 Marathon (66th for ₹7,996) and NPS#88 Slamdunk (195th for ₹7,711) for a sweet total evening haul north of ₹3.73 Lakhs plus that long-awaited taste of victory after a frustrating title-less spell!

Nitin Rawat’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.24 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.72 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #3 on the Delhi State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 2 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹35.87 Lakhs

Nearly derailing Rawat’s title hopes was poker veteran Rajat ‘LungFakeer’ Sharma, an MTT beast with over ₹16 Crores in tracked online winnings. Sharma has been crushing it on Natural8 India since the year began – even topping the January leaderboard – but his NPS campaign had been lacking a major score until last night.

Rajat Sharma
Rajat Sharma

After days of determined play, Sharma finally had his breakthrough, grabbing his first-ever NPS Silver Medal (his second medal overall after his Gold from last year’s NPS#16 Deepdive) in the NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack and a cool ₹2.47 Lakhs. Another score in the NPS#86 Run-Up (36th for ₹13,500) meant Sharma collected just a shade over ₹2.60 Lakhs in total for Friday.

Rajat Sharma’s NPS stats: Moves to #17 on the Haryana State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold & 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹15.42 Lakhs

And then there was Anurag ‘Rebuy2survive’ Srivastava, the online dominator who’s been ruling the Delhi State Leaderboard with a two-Gold Medal streak, and he very nearly captured a historic third Gold of the series. The former IOPC The Millionaire Main Event champion had already conquered the NPS#16 Megadive and NPS#74 Wednesday Volley and came incredibly close to a hat-trick. He put up a serious fight, firing three entries in the NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack, but had to settle for the Bronze Medal (his third medal of the series and fifth overall). This still widened his lead on the State Leaderboard, and he added another ₹1.88 Lakhs to his already impressive series bankroll!

Srivastava’s relentless grind across three other events saw his Friday winnings climb to almost ₹2.26 Lakhs, with close to ₹2.10 Lakhs of that coming from the NPS. His consistency and sheer dedication have made him a strong favourite for reaching the National Poker Champion face-off in Goa this April. He currently holds the #3 rank on the NPC (India) Leaderboard and is positioned at #48 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, having played an incredible 83 events with a cash rate of over 50%!

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack for ₹1,87,800

> 38th in Adda52’s The Ballers for 16,050

> 88th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#88 Slamdunk for ₹13,770

> 57th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#84 Marathon for ₹7,996

Anurag Srivastava’s NPS stats: Ranked #1 on the Delhi State Leaderboard | Moves to #48 on the NPS Series Leaderboard | Moves to #3 on the NPC Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 3 Gold & 2 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹39.46 Lakhs | Moves to #20 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack was a magnet for top talent and several big names found their way to the final table, including last night’s NPS#88 Slamdunk finalist Rishabh ‘13rishabh’ Harsh (4th for ₹1.40 Lakhs), the Gujarat State Leaderboard leader Mohit ‘bullets777’ Bohra (5th for ₹1.01 Lakhs) and the NPS#45 Knockout (KO) Gold Medalist Suraj ‘kioshima6969’ Singh (7th for ₹58,200).

The ₹2,875 buy-in NPS#85 (7-Max) Friday Deepstack barely missed its guarantee, falling short by a tiny ₹57,500. But for the 194 finishers who made the money, it was a rewarding journey, with each player pocketing at least ₹5,100—1.80 times the buy-in, keeping the action and the payouts flowing in this epic series.

Final Table Results

  1. Nitin ‘Gambler42’ Rawat – ₹3,57,600

The third Sunday of the epic NPS India 2025 is drawing near, and this ₹100 Crores GTD juggernaut continued its powerful advance on Friday! Among the many developing stories, one of redemption took the spotlight, with Shiven ‘Sampapa’ Meena in the starring role.

Shiven Meena

This Jaipur-based online grinder has been a dedicated force at the NPS, clearly displaying some serious poker chops. He got off to a flying start, narrowly missing the NPS#15 Slamdunk podium and landing seventh in the NPS#60 Monday Medley. He even came this close to that first NPS Gold in the NPS#66 Slamdunk. Silver was his reward that time, though a heads-up deal did land him the larger share of the prize pool. But on Friday night, everything fell into place. He finally grabbed his first-ever NPS Gold Medal (a great addition to that earlier Silver) in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT.

Meena was clearly focused on Gold and nothing else, firing five bullets in the 9:30 PM flagship, the closing event on the day`s schedule. He danced through a sprawling field of 1,494 challengers (700 unique) over a seven-hour battle royale to grab the crown and a top prize of ₹3.41 Lakhs—his third-best score overall.

But he didn’t hit the brakes there—Meena also cashed in three other NPS events, bringing his total Friday haul to a striking ₹3.81 Lakhs, give or take. Meena has climbed to #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard with two medals now in the bag. He’s right behind Shagun Jain, who claimed an incredible sixth carer NPS Gold Medal in the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle last night, bringing his total medal count to four this series! A heated race to top the state is unfolding, with Meena needing to snag more medals quickly to overtake Jain.

Right behind Meena, Sachit ‘Happihigh’ Malik was on a personal mission – to break a three-month title drought. The NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT almost delivered that dream, but a head-to-head battle with Meena resulted in a hard-fought Silver. Even so, Malik scooped up ₹2.39 Lakhs—good for his third-biggest score on the platform. He’s now up to #14 on the Haryana State Leaderboard.

Last night, he added yet another Bronze (his first medal this series) to his stacked resume, along with a cash prize of ₹1.82 Lakhs – finally breaking his duck for this season’s medal count. This performance has elevated him to #2 on the Manipur State Leaderboard, trailing only the recent NPS#72 Knockout (KO) Gold Medal winner, Churchill Maibam!

As has become the norm, the ₹2,300 buy-in NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT continued the streak of guarantee-crushing turnouts at the NPS India 2025. The enormous field created a ₹29.88 Lakhs prize pool. Friday at the NPS India 2025 was another chapter in what’s turning out to be a legendary series, and it’s really hitting its full power as it nears the halfway point! Six huge tournaments, plus two Qualifiers, were on the schedule, and a fresh wave of champions – along with some familiar faces – grabbed those coveted NPS Medals.

Out of the six champions, an incredible four were first-time Gold Medalists, including Daksh ‘DaxKap’ Kapoor, who stepped out of obscurity and into the winner’s circle in spectacular fashion. Kapoor, who had previously finished second in The Big Show last December, had endured a tough downswing with undying grit. His persistence paid off, and with a dramatic final act, he claimed his first-ever NPS Gold by conquering PokerBaazi`s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#84 Marathon—his first major victory on the platform!

His only victory on PokerBaazi came in the Daily Morning SPRINT last August. Kapoor was looking to make a statement, and he did he ever on Friday.

The 2:30 PM NPS#84 Marathon set the stage for the day’s NPS action. Even the afternoon start time couldn’t stop 696 players (for a total of 1,433 entries) from swarming the PokerBaazi tables. Kapoor had a rocky start, requiring five entries. But after over nine gruelling hours of intense poker, he reigned supreme. Just before midnight, he collected his first NPS medal (a glittering Gold) and a handsome ₹2.55 Lakhs after a heads-up deal —his best score of 2025 and the second-biggest of his career.

This win doesn’t just pad his bankroll; it’s a sweet taste of triumph, wiping away some past disappointments. It also sent him rocketing to #3 on the Chandigarh State Leaderboard. And, with a deep run in the NPS#87 (7-Max) Friday Freestyle, finishing 48th for ₹43,000, Kapoor’s total Friday haul climbed to over ₹2.98 Lakhs.

Daksh Kapoor`s PokerBaazi’s stats: Site Winnings: ₹16.11 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #3 on the Chandigarh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹4.61 Lakhs

Shubham ‘5454Sh’ Upadhyay was another unexpected force, and he almost snatched his own maiden NPS Gold Medal in this battle. He delivered a strong performance in the NPS#84 Marathon, though he ended up in second place. He still took home a very respectable ₹2.49 Lakhs from the same deal, along with a Silver Medal—his biggest PokerBaazi score to date! This impressive result shot him up to #15 on the Haryana State Leaderboard. Adding to his accomplishments, Upadhyay’s total Friday winnings reached over ₹2.64 Lakhs, thanks to two additional deep runs, also getting him on the recovery track from past losses.

Shubh ‘pokernoob91’ Jain also had an amazing run in the NPS#84 Marathon. He grabbed the Bronze Medal, adding a sweet ₹1.59 Lakhs to his PokerBaazi account. This cash infusion not only bolstered his bankroll but also wiped the slate a bit cleaner from past setbacks. The incredible part? All three podium finishers in this event scored their first-ever NPS medals – a clear sign that the NPS is a proving ground where new stars are born!

Subh Jain’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹33.17 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #5 | Moves to #36 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Bronze | NPS Winnings: ₹2.90 Lakhs

And, in typical NPS fashion, the ₹2,070 buy-in NPS#84 Marathon generated a juicy ₹25.79 Lakhs prize pool, exceeding its guarantee. The top 194 players got a piece of the action, each collecting at least ₹3,095. It was just another day and another success story in the books for the electrifying NPS India 2025.

The NPS India 2025 is a continuous explosion of poker talent. Friday saw six more champions crowned, their names forever part of NPS history. Four of these victors claimed their first-ever NPS Gold Medals, including Delhi’s Yogesh ‘pokerbrat0118’ Kumar. Moving past the disappointment of a second-place finish in the NPS India 2021 Freezeout, this experienced strategist meticulously executed his game plan, dominating PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#86 Run-Up.

Kumar, a seasoned player with a distinct ambition for victory, entered the 5:30 PM event prepared – firing two entries – ready to take on the massive 1,245-entry field (626 unique). After eight hours of intense, captivating poker, he stood as the champion. A three-way deal was made, granting him ₹2.03 Lakhs and his long-awaited first NPS Gold Medal (his second NPS medal overall) and catapulting him to #14 on the Delhi State Leaderboard! This win also broke a nearly six-week title drought that had lingered since he last won The EndeavourLite in January.

Yogesh Kumar’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.10 Crore | Lifetime Profits: ₹34.68 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Moves to #14 on the Delhi State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold & 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹4.74 Lakhs

The NPS#86 Run-Up was no one-person narrative. The mysterious ‘TILTEDF1SH’ from Uttarakhand, a player active since December 2024 and still in search of their first online title, came incredibly close to a breakthrough, almost clinching their first NPS Gold in the NPS#86 Run-Up. While they eventually finished as the runner-up, they still walked away with the largest chunk of the prize pool, ₹2.45 Lakhs, thanks to the deal and the Silver Medal – instantly erasing any previous deficits in one fell swoop.

With this performance, ‘TILTEDF1SH’ boldly claimed their spot on the leaderboard, becoming the sole representative at the top of their state’s rankings and giving Uttarakhand a presence on the NPC Leaderboard at #17.

TILTEDF1SH’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹2.87 Lakhs | Site Profit: ₹2.16 Lakhs | Moves to #1 on the Uttarakhand State Leaderboard | Moves to #17 on the NPC (India) Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹2.59 Lakhs

The NPS#86 Run-Up podium also featured Abhinav ‘Supernova11’ Nath, the NPS India 2022 Deepdive Gold Medalist and last month`s Evening SPRINT winner, on the chase for another Gold. Nath, hot off a deep run in NPS#82 Mega Rush (12th) on Thursday, narrowly missed his second NPS Gold. He finished in third place, earning ₹1.99 Lakhs and his second NPS Bronze Medal (his first of this series and sixth medal overall) after the three-way deal, having fired three entries in the pursuit.

Nath also added a small score in NPS#88 Slamdunk (157th for ₹7,711), creating a combined Friday total of over ₹2.07 Lakhs! The Bronze Medal rocketed Nath to the top of the Himachal Pradesh State leaderboard, giving his state a place on the National Poker Champion India map at #18. He also climbed to #43 in PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY race.

Abhinav Nath’s PokerBaazi’s stats: Site Winnings: ₹16.95 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹6.13 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #5 | Moves to #1 on the Himachal Pradesh State Leaderboard | Moves to #18 on the NPC India Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold, 3 Silver & 2 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹25.91 Lakhs | Moves to #43 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The presence of well-known online regulars like Tanmay ‘Tanmaylodha’ Lodha (4th for ₹1.16 Lakhs), last month’s The Quest Lite champion Abhimanyu ‘AsratManfi’ Mittal (5th for ₹82,750), and old-timers Arjanveer ‘holdbaby’ Singh Chadha (6th for ₹60,750), and Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla (8th for ₹35,750) made for a fiercely contested NPS#86 #RunUp final table battle.

The ₹2,070 buy-in NPS#86 Run-Up experienced a minor overlay, falling ₹2.59 Lakhs short of its ₹25 Lakhs guarantee. Regardless, the top 201 players all made it into the money, with even a min-cash worth a respectable ₹4,000, further fueling the Friday frenzy at this legendary series.

Final Table Results

  1. Yogesh ‘pokerbrat0118’ Kumar – ₹2,03,134*
  2. TILTEDF1SH – ₹2,45,151*
