If the first half of the National Poker Series India 2025 was a fuse being lit, the second half is shaping up to be a full-blown detonation. Day 16, what some might think would be just another Monday, turned into a full-scale poker riot, with six high-energy tournaments and 18 medals getting tossed around like confetti. And that’s before we even touch on the frenzy surrounding the flights for the ₹5 Crores GTD NPS#147 Mini Main Event (Qualifier 3), the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#127 Value Mine (Qualifier 4), and the ₹2 Crores GTD NPS#134 HighRoller (Qualifier 1). PokerBaazi was yet again the place to be, with a mountain of cash and glory waiting to be claimed!

This was anything but an average Monday. A tidal wave of 8,040 entries crashed onto PokerBaazi, driving the day’s total prize money to a breathtaking ₹2.01 Crores. That’s a nearly 12% leap over the ₹1.80 Crores guaranteed. A mind-blowing ₹52.25 Crores in prize money has already been paid – blowing the ₹47 Crores guaranteed up to this point clean out of the water.

The competition for state bragging rights is turning into a bare-knuckle brawl. Maharashtra is still in the lead, boasting a mighty 65 medals (20 Gold, 19 Silver, 26 Bronze). But Delhi is closing in, now holding 57 medals (17 Gold, 23 Silver, 17 Bronze).

But Monday brought a twist. Haryana, mirroring Karnataka’s Sunday performance, grabbed the most medals on Day 16—a first for the state in this series. Grabbing three medals, two of them Gold, Haryana now has a strong position to make the 12-state cutoff with 33 medals (11 Gold, 10 Silver, 12 Bronze).

Monday featured a parade of new champions—all grabbing their first Gold Medals of the series. But the veterans were not to be ignored. Three poker pros grabbed more NPS hardware for themselves, with Neeraj Sattawat and Gaurav Sood taking a career second and Sumit Sapra adding a third Gold Medal to the war chest!

The main event of the evening, the NPS#108 Monday Medley, played host to one of the most stacked final tables of the series. Poker powerhouses like Kunal Patni, Zarvan Tumboli, Tarush Gupta, Rising Star Aman Parakh, and Advait Rajguru gave it everything. But, in the end, it was Sumit Sapra who reigned supreme, outmanoeuvring the all-star lineup! A true legend, Sapra’s been in the game even before it was a thing in India. He’d been riding a cold streak in this series, but he shattered that by demolishing the NPS#108 Monday Medley, banking a massive ₹7.55 Lakhs after a heads-up deal—his biggest score of 2025. This win gave him his third career NPS Gold Medal, his sixth NPS medal in total, and his first title of 2025. The victory shot him to the #1 position on the Punjab State Leaderboard and #14 on the overall NPC Leaderboard. But Sapra wasn`t done—deep runs in three other NPS events brought his total winnings for the day to a striking ₹7.65 Lakhs, making him the second-biggest scorer of the day!

Rubin Labroo knows the taste of both victory and defeat. After a third-place finish in PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit’ Season 2 and settling for Silver in both NPS#27 Slamdunk and NPS#69 (7-Max) SPRINT, Labroo was again this close to Gold in the Monday Medley. Once again, the runner-up position was his, but still, he earned a massive ₹7.60 Lakhs in that same heads-up deal. The result delivered another Silver Medal, his third of this series (one of only 13 players to snag three or more medals) and his fifth career NPS medal. Labroo also made another deep run, taking home ₹7.83 Lakhs in total, earning him the title of the day’s top scorer and launching him to #4 on the Delhi State Leaderboard.

Natural8 India’s Executive Director and Ambassador, Kunal Patni, also added to his poker legacy. Hunting for his fifth career NPS Gold, Patni took the Bronze in the Monday Medley, scoring ₹4.74 Lakhs—his first-ever Bronze Medal and his second medal of the series, after a Silver in the NPS#46 (PLO-4) Megadive. With an additional deep run, Patni’s total for the night hit ₹4.87 Lakhs, putting him at #22 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

Monam Hayat, who had a tough run so far in the series, made a stunning comeback to conquer the NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT. This win not only delivered his first title of the year but also gave him his first career NPS medal (Gold) and ₹3.95 Lakhs—his fourth-largest score on PokerBaazi. Hayat’s win was more than just a personal best; it added a valuable second Gold Medal to Jharkhand’s total, putting him at the very top of the state leaderboard. Tanmay Lodha, The MoneyMaker 35.0 champion, finished second, taking home ₹2.75 Lakhs—also grabbing his first NPS medal (Silver) and his second-best score on PokerBaazi. Lodha’s Monday earnings came to ₹3.08 Lakhs, and with that first-ever NPS Silver Medal, he climbed to #16 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Young Gun Gaurav Sood, the legendary three-time POY, grabbed a second career NPS Gold Medal (his first medal of this series) with a commanding performance in the NPS#106 (PLO-5), pocketing ₹3.04 Lakhs. Not only did he get his first PLO title in over four years, but it also was his biggest win in the format—his fifth-largest score of 2025. Sood went all-in, with six other deep runs boosting his total over ₹3.68 Lakhs, moving him to #5 on the Haryana State Leaderboard and #12 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard. Vikram Jaiswal, the 2023 NPS#77 SPRINT Gold Medalist, came agonizingly close to a second NPS Gold, finishing as runner-up in NPS#106 (PLO-5) for ₹2.09 Lakhs. This was his second-biggest cash of the year and fourth-largest career score, bringing his total Monday winnings to ₹2.13 Lakhs from two deep runs.

Siddharth Jolly also found the winner’s circle, claiming the NPS Gold Medal. This poker player with a rapidly expanding live and online resume finally escaped the runner-up curse that had been plaguing him on PokerBaazi, conquering the lightning-fast NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT. The win earned him ₹2.83 Lakhs, his first-ever Gold Medal, and brought his total Monday winnings to ₹2.96 Lakhs with another cash finish. It was also his best online score of the year and the fifth-biggest on PokerBaazi—with his top four all being near-misses. Jolly’s victory was a landmark—it made him the first Gold Medalist from Jammu & Kashmir in this series, shooting him to #1 on the state leaderboard and dethroning Avish Sharma. Ramji Kishore G, who had already picked up a Bronze Medal in the NPS#1 Kickoff, had to settle for Silver in NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, earning ₹1.97 Lakhs—his second medal of this series and third overall. Another small cash pushed his total Monday earnings past ₹2 Lakhs, giving him fuel to continue his comeback from a tough downswing. He’s now sitting at #9 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

Among the day’s other Gold Medal winners, Haryana’s Viraj Uberoi dominated the NPS#109 Marathon, taking home ₹2.81 Lakhs, and Rajasthan’s Neeraj Sattawat sprinted to the finish line in the NPS#104 Slamdunk, taking ₹1.81 Lakhs for his career second Gold Medal (his first this series and seventh medal overall)!

With NPS India 2025 now beyond the halfway point, the National Poker Champion (India) Leaderboard is really heating up, with Maharashtra maintaining a firm grip on the top spot. They are in the lead with 65 medals (20 Gold, 19 Silver, and 26 Bronze). But Delhi is a persistent threat, close behind with 57 medals (17 Gold, 23 Silver, and 17 Bronze). Uttar Pradesh stays strong in third place, with 37 medals (12 Gold, 15 Silver, and 10 Bronze).

The NPS Series Leaderboard is another fierce battleground. Bhanu Prakash KC is still undefeated at the top, holding a massive 22,910 points from 88 cashes. Vinay Rajpal remains his closest rival with 21,670 points from 95 cashes. PokerBaazi Team Pro Laksh Pal Singh is still in third with 20,110 points from 82 cashes, making the fight for the top even more intense.

While PokerBaazi dominated the headlines with NPS India 2025, Natural8 India also dished out some serious high-stakes action. Mohit Bothra, after a four-week break, returned to the spotlight with a spectacular run in the Mystery Millions 215. Facing a colossal field of 31,390 entries, he fought to an impressive 69th-place finish, pocketing a site-best ₹7.25 Lakhs.

Over at Adda52, Yash Jaiswal won Iron Man for ₹1.52 Lakhs.

Here are the Monday highlights!

Re-entries – 539

Prize Pool – ₹75,00,000

Places Paid – 186

If the first half of the National Poker Series India 2025 was a fuse being lit, the second half is shaping up to be a full-blown detonation. Day 16, usually a quiet Monday, exploded with six high-octane tournaments, showering 18 medals on a group of determined contenders. And that’s before we even get to the swirling vortex of action around the flights for the ₹5 Crores GTD NPS#147 Mini Main Event (Qualifier 3), the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#127 Value Mine (Qualifier 4), and the ₹2 Crores GTD NPS#134 HighRoller (Qualifier 1). PokerBaazi was the place to be, with a mountain of cash and glory waiting to be claimed!

A colossal wave of 8,040 entries came crashing in, sending the day’s total prize money soaring to a staggering ₹2.01 Crores. That’s a jaw-dropping jump of almost 12% over the already massive ₹1.80 Crores guaranteed – making any minor overlays a distant memory. This series isn’t just surpassing records; it’s leaving them in the dust. An eye-watering ₹52.25 Crores in prize money has already been handed out – obliterating the ₹47 Crores guaranteed up to this point.

And with state pride fueling the fire, the battle between states is a no-holds-barred slugfest. Maharashtra still holds the crown with an imposing 65 medals (20 Gold, 19 Silver, 26 Bronze). But Delhi is hot on their trail, flexing with 57 medals (17 Gold, 23 Silver, 17 Bronze).

Mirroring Karnataka’s Sunday surge, Haryana came out guns blazing, seizing the most medals on Day 16, a feat they hadn’t accomplished before. They snatched three medals, including two Golds, bringing their overall count to a respectable 33 medals (11 Gold, 10 Silver, 12 Bronze).

But the event everyone had their eyes on was the ₹75 Lakhs GTD NPS#108 Monday Medley. And it was Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra, the poker veteran from Chandigarh, who finally broke his NPS India 2025 cold streak. After 16 days and a relentless grind through 80 tournaments, he finally found his winning rhythm, dominating the day’s featured event!

Sumit Sapra
Sumit Sapra

Sapra’s a legend, a player who was around before the game blew up, back when Goa tournaments with 35 players were considered a roaring success! And he knows what it takes to win at the NPS with five previous NPS medals (including two Golds). But after a surprisingly slow start to this series, he unleashed his full arsenal, battling through a monstrous field of 1,066 entries (527 unique) in the 7 PM Monday Medley. After more than 8.5 hours of intense poker action, he seized his third career NPS Gold Medal (his first of this series), his sixth NPS medal overall, and his first title of 2025. The victory was sweetened by a heads-up deal that saw ₹7.55 Lakhs flow into his account – his biggest score of 2025, a win that was undoubtedly well-deserved.

Sapra isn’t just a medalist from Punjab; he’s the only Gold Medallist so far and one of only three to win any medal. With this win, he has soared to #1 on the Punjab State Leaderboard and landed squarely at #14 on the NPC Leaderboard.

And because a true grinder never stops, especially with the NPS in full swing, he powered through three other NPS events. His total Monday haul ballooned to just over ₹7.65 Lakhs, making him the day’s second-biggest earner.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#108 Monday Medley for ₹7,54,725* (heads-up deal)

> 160th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹4,806

> 194th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹3,901

> 221st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#104 Slamdunk for ₹1,756

Sumit Sapra’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹13.73 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.13 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #1 on the Punjab State Leaderboard | Moves to #14 on the NPC Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹64.32 Lakhs | Moves to #94 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The Monday Medley heads-up showdown was a clash between two veterans, with Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo on the other side of the table. Labroo, the name alone carries weight, a blend of respect and perhaps a touch of apprehension in the circuit. This is a star, a poker warrior who has weathered countless battles. He’s tasted his fair share of success but also the bitter sting of near-misses like his third-place finish in PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit’ Season 2 and his Silver Medal finishes in the NPS#27 Slamdunk and NPS#69 (7-Max) SPRINT earlier in this very series. This time, there was a fire in his eyes.

Rubin Labroo
Rubin Labroo

Labroo charged into the NPS#108 Monday Medley with his sights set on Gold, firing two bullets. He wasn’t there to play passively; he was there to crush. He manoeuvred, he bluffed, and he fought his way to the heads-up confrontation, coming within a hair’s breadth of that elusive Gold. But the final card had other plans. He took Silver—his third medal of this series (all Silvers, proof of his consistent near-victories) and his fifth NPS medal overall. The heads-up deal saw a hefty ₹7.60 Lakhs added to his bankroll, a prize definitely worth fighting for. This performance also shot him up to #4 on the Delhi State Leaderboard, and he became the 13th player from the series to collect three or more medals.

But Labroo’s night was about more than just that near-victory. He also stormed to 13th place in the NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, adding another ₹22,430 to his winnings. He also fought his way to Day 2 of the NPS#147 Mini Main Event. When the final chip had been counted, Labroo walked away with close to ₹7.83 Lakhs, a figure that nudged him past Sapra to become the day’s biggest earner!

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#108 Monday Medley for ₹7,60,275* (heads-up deal)

> 13th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹22,430

> Made Day 2 in PokerBaazi’s NPS#147 Mini Main Event (Qualifier 3)

Rubin Labroo’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹13.69 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.08 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2| Moves to #4 on the Delhi State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold, 3 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹41.57 Lakhs

And just to make things even more interesting, another poker veteran, Kunal ‘VasooliChacha’ Patni, Natural8 India’s Executive Director and Ambassador, also found his way to the Monday Medley podium. After a phenomenal start to the year on the Asian live poker circuit, Patni’s clearly brought that winning form online! And while those trophies aren’t accumulating quite as fast as they did at the APT Manila Classic 2025, he’s been steadily collecting NPS hardware, including a Silver Medal in last Saturday’s NPS#46 (PLO-4) Megadive.

Kunal Patni
Kunal Patni

Patni added another chapter to his poker resume, earning his seventh career medal in the Monday Medley. Patni snagged third place, a finish that gave him his first-ever Bronze Medal and a handsome ₹4.74 Lakhs. He’s now part of the exclusive club of just 53 players with multiple medals in the series, and the performance boosted him to #22 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

Patni also entered the high-speed NPS#105 (4-Max) #HyperSPRINT, finishing 30th for ₹13,165, kicking off the week with a total haul of over ₹4.87 Lakhs.

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#108 Monday Medley for ₹4,74,000

> 30th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹13,165

Kunal Patni’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹11.15 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹3.18 Crores | Moves to #22 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 4 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹82.03 Lakhs

The NPS#108 Monday Medley final table wasn’t just a collection of players but a gathering of poker royalty. The lineup was a who’s-who of the online circuit, including PokerBaazi Team Pro & #3 on the NPC Leaderboard Zarvan ‘MomSaid5Bet’ Tumboli (4th for ₹3.56 Lakhs), NPS India 2025 three-medal winner Tarush ‘Busterr’ Gupta (5th for ₹2.57 Lakhs), NPS Series Leaderboard #4 Rising Star Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh (6th for ₹1.91 Lakhs), NPS India 2025 two-time Gold Medal winner Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru (7th for ₹1.43 Lakhs), and IPPA streamer and community manager Ashutosh ‘trailblazera’ Kumar (8th for ₹1.16 Lakhs).

Given the feast of tournaments on offer and the fact that it was just a Monday, the ₹8,050 buy-in NPS#108 Monday Medley did well to fall just a very tiny ₹38,000 short of its ₹75 Lakhs guarantee. With the top 186 finishers making the money and a min-cash worth a respectable ₹13,500, it made for a lucrative grind for many. Both seasoned pros and newcomers had a real opportunity to make a name for themselves, adding another thrilling chapter to the ongoing NPS India 2025 saga.

Final Table Results

  1. Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra – ₹7,54,725*

The NPS India 2025 isn’t just simmering; it’s boiling over! We’re well into the second leg of this 29-day poker odyssey, and Day 16 delivered a powerful six-tournament punch with a side of crucial Qualifiers for those dreaming of bigger things. And the headline? All six champions crowned on Monday snagged their first Gold Medals of this season, while three of those champions, all seasoned veterans, added more bling to their NPS collection!

While the massive ₹75 Lakhs GTD NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT, the 7 PM headliner, was waiting in the wings, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT got things started a bit earlier at 6:30 PM, turned into an almost seven-hour brawl that bled well past midnight!

And that’s where Monam ‘loosingfreak’ Hayat crashed the party. This guy’s a PokerBaazi regular, a four-year veteran with a journey that’s been, let’s say, turbulent. He’d been hunting for a big win since taking down The Big Show in December, and the NPS India 2025 had been a frustrating grind – over 30 tournaments, just one cash. However, whenever he is down in the trenches, he always manages to bounce back, and that`s precisely what he pulled out again! He outmanoeuvred, outplayed, and outlasted a monster field of 1,373 entries (636 unique) in the 6:30 PM NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT, seizing his first-ever NPS Gold and a juicy ₹3.95 Lakhs – landing his fourth-biggest score on PokerBaazi. This wasn’t just a win but a resurrection, his first of 2025, on the grand stage of the NPS, no less!

Monam Hayat
Monam Hayat

The victory added a precious second Gold to Jharkhand’s count and catapulted Hayat to the top of the state leaderboard. Jharkhand is at #17 right now, so they are gonna need that fire to burn bright to break into the top 12 and head for the final National Poker Champion 2025 showdown in Goa.

Monam Hayat’s NPS stats: Moves to #1 on the Jharkhand State Leaderboard | Moves to #17 on the NPC Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹6.36 Lakhs

But Hayat almost didn’t make it. Tanmay ‘Tanmaylodha’ Lodha (opted out of our tracking), The MoneyMaker 35.0 champ, was right there. He’s another one of those tireless grinders, and he was coming off a near-podium finish in the NPS#86 Run-Up and a final table run in the NPS#16 Megadive. And he was locked in, firing a ridiculous six bullets in the NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT. It nearly paid off. He snagged his first NPS medal – a Silver – and a hefty ₹2.75 Lakhs, the second-largest prize he’s ever booked on the site. Factor in deep runs in two other NPS events, and Lodha pocketed a sweet sum just shy of ₹3.08 Lakhs!

Tanmay Lodha
Tanmay Lodha

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹2,75,287

> 68th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#108 Monday Medley for ₹23,250

> 66th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#106 (PLO-5) for ₹9,090

Tanmay Lodha’s NPS stats: Moves to #16 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹11.09 Lakhs

Incredibly, the entire NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT podium was filled with first-time NPS medalists. Sameer ‘tandoori’ Agarwal, a name you usually hear in live tournament circles, decided to show off his online skills, grabbing the Bronze and ₹2.12 Lakhs. It was his fifth-largest online score and, by far, his best run of 2025, planting him firmly at #14 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard!

With most regs playing pretty much the entire NPS schedule, the NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT had plenty of notables on the final table, including the NPS#43 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT Bronze Medallist Ganesh ‘Ganesh24’ Durgade (4th for ₹1.55 Lakhs), Rahul ‘Godfather10’ Purohit (5th for ₹1.13 Lakhs), NPS#73 Marathon Silver Medallist Kumar ‘23offsuits’ Vatsal (6th for ₹82,380) and the NPS#65 (PLO-5) and NPS#51 Deepdive Bronze Medallist Siddhant ‘aajnahiaana’ Singh (7th for ₹63,158).

The ₹2,875 buy-in NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT didn’t just hit its ₹30 Lakhs guarantee; it flew past it by ₹4.33 Lakhs. For the 226 players who cashed, it was a profitable day indeed, with everyone taking home at least ₹4,806 – nearly 1.7 times the buy-in. The NPS is delivering the action, and the payouts are following! It’s a poker series that’s firing on all cylinders.

Day 16 of the NPS India 2025 saw a fresh crop of six champions, all snagging their first Gold Medals of the year. But one name on that winner’s list was no surprise: the incomparable Young Gun Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood!

Sood is, without exaggeration, a living legend of the Indian poker scene. Originally a dentist, this Gurgaon-based powerhouse made a daring career shift, plunging into the world of professional poker. And his achievements over the past five years are breathtaking – highlighted by an almost unbelievable three consecutive Player of the Year titles. His stats are the stuff of poker dreams: over ₹23 Crores in tracked online winnings, nearly half of that being pure, unadulterated profit. He holds a record of online dominance that’s practically untouchable, making him the reigning king of online MTTs in India (though a certain Tarun Goyal is making a serious run for the crown). Just a glimpse at his accomplishments includes victories like the 2021 WPT India Super High Roller (PokerBaazi), the 2022 Millionaire Series #16 – High Roller (Spartan Poker), and the 2020 GPS #14 – The Millionaire United (Spartan Poker). And that’s just scratching the surface.

Gaurav Sood
Gaurav Sood

Sood’s winning ways have also graced the NPS, where he already possessed five medals, including a Gold from last year’s NPS#92 HighRoller. But he doubled his Gold collection by crushing PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD NPS#106 (PLO-5) last night – it seems all that PLO practice during PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit’ really sharpened his skills!

The 5:30 PM NPS#106 (PLO-5) was another runaway hit, drawing a blistering 1,010 entries (371 unique). The action lasted a gruelling eight hours and 11 minutes, with fortunes shifting constantly. But in the end, Sood controlled all the chips, needing only one entry to navigate this minefield and close out the tournament with that coveted first Gold Medal of the series, plus a very welcome ₹3.04 Lakhs added to his bankroll. Interestingly, this is his first PLO title in over four years, and by far his biggest in the format – his fifth-largest score of the year so far.

Sood, however, was far from finished with his NPS dominance. His total Monday haul reached almost ₹3.68 Lakhs across six deep runs, with ₹3.60 Lakhs coming from five NPS events (he cashed in nearly everyone he entered, missing out on just one). This powerful showing boosted him to #5 on the Haryana State Leaderboard and #12 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#106 (PLO-5) for ₹3,03,505

> 32nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#108 Monday Medley for ₹42,750

> 103rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#107 (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹8,581

> 22nd in Adda52’s Iron Man for ₹7,400

> 197th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#109 Marathon for ₹3,730

> 192nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#104 Slamdunk for ₹1,756

Gaurav Sood’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹23.14 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.94 Crores | Annual Winnings: ₹55.46 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #7 | Moves to #5 on the Haryana State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold, 3 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹71.31 Lakhs | Moves to #12 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

Right alongside Sood until the very end was Vikram ‘supernovaaa’ Jaiswal, the 2023 NPS#77 SPRINT Gold Medalist, who was determined to add another major win to his record. While he fell just short of the Gold, he did snag his first-ever Silver Medal and a hefty ₹2.09 Lakhs – his second-biggest cash of the year and his fourth-largest career score.

Vikram Jaiswal
Vikram Jaiswal

Jaiswal also picked up a small score in the NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, finishing 191st for ₹3,901, taking his total Monday take-home to just under ₹2.13 Lakhs. This performance moved him to #15 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Rounding out the podium was Amit ‘kavipri’ Gehani, the banker with a flair for big scores, who grabbed his first-ever NPS Medal, a Bronze, after his third-place finish in this PLO showdown, good for ₹1.62 Lakhs. He had to fire six entries to get there, but the persistence clearly paid off.

The NPS#106 (PLO-5) final table was a shark tank. Utkarsh ‘utkarshvaish9’ Vaish, the NPS#68 Marathon Silver Medalist, finished fourth for ₹1.22 Lakhs. Rishit ‘Akashikrecords’ Sanghvi, the NPS#100 (PLO-6) Knockout (PKO) Gold Medalist, took fifth place for ₹87,870. Lavesh ‘upay4myweed98’ Meena, who’s been on a hot streak with an Adda52 The Ballers win and a runner-up finish in Junglee Poker’s Sunday Special Knockout, rounded out the top six, collecting ₹65,650.

And, continuing the trend, the NPS#106 (PLO-5) followed the lead of most other NPS Monday flagship events and crushed its guarantee, creating a red-hot ₹25.25 Lakhs prize pool. The top 167 finishers all walked away with at least ₹4,545—over 1.6 times the ₹2,875 buy-in, demonstrating once again that PLO is thriving in this epic series.

Siddharth ‘Afterhours’ Jolly is a prime example of that breed of poker players who live and breathe the game, squeezing in hands whenever and wherever they can! This caravan entrepreneur often juggles work trips with major live events, and he’s been building a seriously impressive track record! With a string of deep runs stretching from Goa to Vietnam and most recently at Poker Dream 15 Malaysia (where he scored his second live title and finished runner-up in the Mini High Roller), his talent is beyond question.

He’s also been making waves online, consistently posting strong results on Natural8 India and PokerBaazi. But Monday was the day he etched his name into NPS history, finally shaking off the “almost” curse that had been following him on PokerBaazi (he suffered a gut-wrenching three second-place finishes at the WPT India Online series in December). He finally clinched his first NPS medal – a glorious Gold – in PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, earning a sweet ₹2.83 Lakhs – his best online score of the year and his fifth-biggest on PokerBaazi, with the top four all being those near-misses.

This win was a long time in the making for Jolly, who’d been putting in the work at the NPS with little to show for it until now. But on Monday, he went all-in, firing a staggering seven bullets in the ultra-fast 4 PM flagship. The super turbo format demanded nerves of steel, and he proved he had them in spades, tearing through a gigantic 1,219-entry field (488 unique) and taking down the title in just over four hours. This victory not only made him the first Gold Medalist from Jammu & Kashmir in this series but also shot him to #1 on the state leaderboard, overthrowing Avish Sharma and placing him at a strong #12 on the overall NPC Leaderboard.

Adding to his successful run, Jolly also stacked up a score in the NPS#108 Monday Medley (146th for ₹13,500), taking his total Monday spoils to a little over ₹2.96 Lakhs.

Siddharth Jolly’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹84.32 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹7.18 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #1 on the Jammu & Kashmir State Leaderboard | Moves to #12 on the NPC India Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹12.37 Lakhs

He gave it a fair shot, firing four bullets, but had to settle for his second career Silver Medal (his second medal of this series, and third overall), taking home ₹1.97 Lakhs. A small cash in the NPS#109 Marathon (255th for ₹2,664) nudged his Monday total slightly over ₹2 Lakhs, furthering his comeback from past downswings and boosting him to #9 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

The dawn of a new week brought a surge of fresh energy to the NPS India 2025, and Monday saw a clean sweep of new champions – all seizing their first Gold Medals of the series. But rising from the pack, a familiar NPS warrior re-asserted his dominance: Jaipur’s poker ace, Neeraj ‘Dattebayo7’ Sattawat. Already a six-time NPS medalist, Sattawat has been on an absolute rampage this year, boasting over ₹75 Lakhs in total winnings – a clear sign he’s on a tear!

Coming off winning Adda52’s Maverick last week and a final table showing in Sunday’s NPS#103 (7-Max) SPRINT, Sattawat didn’t just come to play; he came to conquer. He demolished the competition in PokerBaazi’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD NPS#104 Slamdunk, finally achieving the breakthrough he’d been grinding for at this year’s NPS.

This victory felt almost preordained for a player of Sattawat’s skill. His phenomenal sixth-place finish in the colossal G.O.A.T. 2024 and his stellar #11 ranking in the intensely competitive 2024 POY race were just hints of what was to come. He kicked off 2025 by taking down PokerBaazi’s Blockbuster on January 4, racked up six final table appearances in January, delivered some truly dominant performances on Natural8 India, and claimed a nail-biting runner-up finish in The Quest. February saw him maintain that dominance with victories in Daily Last Chance and The Quest.

The 2:30 PM NPS#104 Slamdunk wasn’t simply another tournament on the schedule – it was the opening salvo in a day of pure poker madness. Sattawat was locked and loaded, bulldozing a stacked field of 799 opponents (resulting in 1,596 total entries that obliterated the guarantee) in a slugfest that raged on for over 8.5 hours. When the dust settled, Sattawat stood tall, claiming a handsome ₹1.81 Lakhs, his second career NPS Gold Medal (his first of this particular series and his seventh NPS medal overall), further burnishing his NPS reputation and climbing to #4 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard.

And because a true poker beast never rests, Sattawat also powered his way to another final table, taking eighth in the NPS#109 Marathon for an additional ₹37,296. He even punched his ticket to Day 2 of the NPS#147 Mini Main Event. When all was said and done, his Monday haul was nearly ₹2.42 Lakhs from five deep runs (cashing in all but one NPS event of the day!). With this kind of momentum, more medals aren’t just likely – they’re practically a sure thing.

This ferocious performance has not only lined his pockets but has also catapulted him to #11 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard and to #20 on the overall NPS Series Leaderboard.

Close on his heels was Bhavik ‘bk9033’ Khatsuria, who’s on a serious upward trajectory! Building on his maiden Gold in the NPS#43 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, he delivered another stellar performance, joining the quickly expanding club of two-time medalists in this series (now 53 strong). Khatsuria fought hard in the NPS#104 Slamdunk, eventually finishing in second place, earning his first-ever NPS Silver Medal and a tidy ₹1.28 Lakhs – his eighth-largest score on the platform and his second NPS medal overall.

While they narrowly missed the Gold, they still achieved a commendable third-place finish, taking home their first Bronze Medal and a PokerBaazi-best payout of ₹97,356.
