The ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025 is blasting towards an epic finale, and Day 24 was another firestorm of poker action! The community is buzzing, with players fighting for every inch on the state leaderboards to reach that final face-off in Goa and a shot at becoming India’s first-ever National Poker Champion.

With everything on the line, PokerBaazi saw a tidal wave of 8,680 entries on Wednesday, blowing past the day’s ₹2.20 Crores guarantee and sending the total prize pool soaring to a staggering ₹2.56 Crores—a massive 16% jump!

With that, NPS India 2025 has already dished out an eye-popping ₹82.17 Crores in prize money, crushing the ₹73.85 Crores guaranteed so far. And with over ₹26 Crores still on the table, the biggest clashes are yet to come!

The NPS India 2025 has seen its share of breathtaking performances, but what went down on Wednesday night was the stuff of legends! Three players—Saahib Bawa, Snehil Aggarwal, and Raghav Ananth—each grabbed two medals in a single night, joining an elite group of just nine players to accomplish this feat at NPS India 2025.

However, the night belonged to one player alone—Saahib Bawa! After winning Gold and Silver earlier in the series, Bawa carved his name into poker folklore by completing a legendary title hattrick in a single night. His wins spanned multiple formats, claiming Gold in PokerBaazi’s NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT (₹7.43 Lakhs) and NPS#160 Knockout (PKO) (₹4.86 Lakhs), and he delivered a debut for the record books on Natural8 India, taking down the PLO Bounty Main Event 150 (₹5.20 Lakhs). His total haul for the evening topped a jaw-dropping ₹17.52 Lakhs from four deep runs, making him the day’s undisputed king!

This trifecta of victories elevated him to elite status, becoming the first player in this NPS to grab two Gold Medals in a single day and joining a select group of four competitors with three Gold Medals in this year’s NPS. Furthermore, his two medals in one night put him in an exclusive group of only nine players to manage that feat in this series. Bawa’s stunning achievements shot him to the top of the Delhi State Leaderboard with 35 points (3 Gold and 1 Silver) and positioned him as a dangerous contender for the National Poker Champion title.

Raghav Ananth‘s NPS India 2025 run has been nothing short of a poker fairy tale. With zero NPS medals before this series, he’s now a force to be reckoned with, having already collected a stunning four medals. Wednesday was his peak, adding a Silver in the NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT (₹5.18 Lakhs) and a Bronze in the NPS#159 Slamdunk (₹1.24 Lakhs) to his growing collection. He’s now one of only 15 players this year to grab four or more medals, and he’s climbed to #3 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard. Ananth didn’t stop there – he went deep in three other NPS events, taking home close to ₹6.65 Lakhs.

Meanwhile, Shaurya Modi, another PokerBaazi regular, broke new ground by landing his first NPS medal (Bronze) with a third-place finish in the same NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT. This resulted in a site-best ₹3.98 Lakhs payday and positioned him as a key player from Jharkhand, now ranked #4 on the state leaderboard.

Snehil Aggarwal also kept his medal streak alive, winning two medals (a Gold & a Bronze). Previously holding a single Silver Medal from 2022, Aggarwal has completely turned things around, capturing five medals in this edition (2 Golds & 3 Bronzes). His biggest win of the night came in the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller, where he captured the Gold Medal and ₹4.59 Lakhs after a four-way deal. Just 4.5 hours earlier, he captured the Bronze (his third Bronze) in NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, adding another ₹2.23 Lakhs to his winnings. Aggarwal is now one of only four players in NPS India 2025 to have five medals. His success has also launched him to the top of the Haryana State Leaderboard with 26 points. Aggarwal scored in three more NPS events, collecting nearly ₹7.19 Lakhs in total, rocketing him to #7 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and 27th in PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY race.

Priyanka Singh came out of nowhere in the (PLO-4) HighRoller, nearly grabbing the Gold Medal. She finished runner-up, claiming her first-ever NPS medal (Silver) and the lion`s share of ₹6.05 Lakhs from the four-way deal—almost double her previous best career score. Sreeprakaash Seetharaman also had a breakthrough performance in the HighRoller, capturing the Bronze Medal—his first medal of the series and second overall—and taking home ₹4.08 Lakhs from the same deal. Additionally, ‘Pocket_aces‘ finished fourth, taking home a site-best ₹4.70 Lakhs (same deal), and stacked up nearly ₹4.80 Lakhs from two deep runs.

Wednesday saw the veterans flex their muscles, with four of the day’s seven champions being former NPS Gold Medalists. However, the spotlight shone brightest on Trivandrum’s Sreekanth Narayan. The renowned G.O.A.T. 2.0 runner-up, despite a killer track record, hadn’t grabbed an NPS medal until this year. Determined to make his presence known, Narayan won two Silver Medals earlier in the series and finally struck Gold last night in the NPS#157 Megadive, winning his first flagship title of 2025, netting ₹2.90 Lakhs, and his first-ever Gold Medal (third medal overall). Narayan’s win brought Kerala its first Gold of the series and has launched him into contention for the NPC showdown in Goa, currently ranked #11 on the NPC Leaderboard. Narayan cashed in five events yesterday, collecting nearly ₹3.69 Lakhs in total.

The NPS#157 Megadive ended in a dramatic clash between Narayan and another seasoned player, Shravan Chhabria. Chhabria, who previously claimed a Silver Medal in the #23 Knockout (PKO), found himself in another intense heads-up, eventually settling for Silver again, adding ₹2.03 Lakhs to his winnings for the series. Along with his Silver Medal, Chhabria’s performances throughout the day resulted in total earnings just shy of ₹2.19 Lakhs. Mandar Madaye earned the Bronze Medal, his first medal of this series and third overall, taking home ₹1.55 Lakhs – his best score of the year.

And the wins kept piling up! Big shoutouts to Karnataka’s Praveen Chandra (Won NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT for 4.17 Lakhs), Gujarat’s Young Gun Siddharth Karia (Won NPS#159 Slamdunk for 2.32 Lakhs), and Uttar Pradesh’s Shivam Shukla (Won NPS#158 Deepdive for 1.32 Lakhs), who won the other Gold Medals of the day.

The National Poker Champion (India) Leaderboard is a battlefield as players fight for position, aiming to lead their states into the prestigious NPC showdown. After 24 days of intense action, Karnataka’s Bhanu Prakash KC, with 40 points from three Golds and two Silvers, holds the top spot. His closest rival, Mohit Bohra from Gujarat, also stands at 40 points (3 Gold & 2 Silver) but trails slightly due to fewer cash finishes—102 compared to Prakash’s 133, placing him second. And in a dramatic twist on the Delhi State Leaderboard, Saahib Bawa has overthrown Anurag Srivastava, rocketing to the top with 35 points (three Golds and a Silver). His double victory has launched him to third place on the NPC Leaderboard.

The NPS Series Leaderboard remains firmly in the grip of Bhanu Prakash KC, who still leads with 33,808 points from 133 cashes. Vinay Rajpal is not far behind with 30,603 points from an astonishing 140 cashes, showing relentless determination. Rising Star Aman Parakh remains a force in third with 29,740 points from 122 cash finishes.

The day also saw big wins across different platforms by Sai Ganesh Reddy, Mohsin Shaikh, and Md. Nazim.

Here are the Wednesday highlights!

The record-breaking National Poker Series India 2025 is reaching its business end, and the competition is hotter than a furnace. Day 24 was another mind-blowing spectacle, featuring seven flagship tournaments and those all-important qualifiers for the 10 Crores GTD NPS#191 Main Event and the 1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush. The result was a full-on poker inferno of non-stop action and ginormous payouts!

With players scrambling to climb their state leaderboards and grab a chance to be among the final 12 players battling for the ultimate glory of becoming the nation’s first-ever National Poker Champion, the intensity is off the charts. And the turnouts are reflecting this frenzy, as a massive 8,680 entries stormed the PokerBaazi tables on Wednesday, boosting the day’s total prize pool to 2.56 Crores—a significant 16% jump over the 2.20 Crores that was initially on the line.

With this surge, NPS India 2025 has now dished out a mind-blowing 82.17 Crores in total prizes, obliterating the 73.85 Crores guaranteed so far. And with five action-packed days remaining, there’s over 26 Crores in guaranteed prize money still up for grabs!

As the competition hit a fever pitch, three players—Saahib Bawa, Snehil Aggarwal, and Raghav Ananth—delivered mind-blowing performances, each seizing two medals in a single day, joining a very exclusive club of only nine players to manage this feat at this year’s NPS!

Snehil Aggarwal added another golden entry to his poker diary, taking Gold in NPS#162 (PLO-4) Highroller and Bronze in NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, elevating his festival total to five medals (2 Gold & 3 Bronze). This positioned him in an elite group of four players who have collected five medals in the series, after Bhanu Prakash KC, Mohit Bohra, and Vikranth Verma. His splendid run also saw him topple Mohit Mehta from the peak of the Haryana State Leaderboard and leap to #4 on the NPC Leaderboard, making him a serious threat to reach that National Poker Champion face-off!

But despite all the intense clashes and incredible achievements, Wednesday night was defined by one player—Saahib ‘Junta’ Bawa, who entered this festival without any prior medals but has already exploded onto the scene with an extraordinary run!

Saahib Bawa - SM
Saahib Bawa

After making his presence known in the early days of the series, winning Gold in NPS#40 Friday Freestyle (Day 6 headliner) and Silver in NPS#62 Slamdunk (Day 9 flagship), Bawa etched his name into poker folklore by completing a legendary title hattrick in a single night.

This is a feat rarely witnessed in Indian poker. Bawa conquered PokerBaazi’s 60 Lakhs GTD NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT, 30 Lakhs GTD NPS#160 Knockout (PKO), and Natural8 India’s PLO Bounty Main Event 150, capping off a night of pure poker domination.

This wasn’t just a good run—it was a declaration. At the nation’s biggest poker festival, against the toughest competition imaginable, Bawa stood head and shoulders above everyone else, proving himself as one of the most dominant forces at NPS India 2025.

His epic night began with a resounding victory in the Day 24 headliner, the 7 PM NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT. Firing three bullets, Bawa outmanoeuvred a staggering 1,283 entries (625 unique) in just seven hours and twenty minutes, wrapping up his win at 2:20 AM. This gifted him his second Gold Medal of the series, along with a payout of 7.43 Lakhs—his second-largest score of the year, after the NPS#40 Friday Freestyle, where he pocketed 12.02 Lakhs.

But Bawa had more to accomplish. A mere eighty minutes later, he conquered the 6:30 PM NPS#160 Knockout (PKO), achieving back-to-back NPS title wins in a single night—a feat previously unseen at NPS India 2025. Outlasting a spirited 1,305-entry field (643 unique) in a prolonged battle that stretched over nine hours and ten minutes, he snatched his second Gold Medal of the night at 3:40 AM, taking home 4.86 Lakhs (1.39 Lakhs in bounties), and landing his third title of the year on PokerBaazi.

With this conquest, Bawa became the first player at NPS India 2025 to win back-to-back tournaments, the first to win two Gold Medals in a single day this festival, and only the fourth player (after Bhanu Prakash KC, Mohit Bohra, and Advait Rajguru) to win three Gold Medals at this year’s festival. He also became one of nine players in the series to win two medals in a single night!

These victories boosted his overall medal count at NPS India 2025 to four (3 Gold and 1 Silver), placing him among only 15 players to win four or more medals in the festival. His powerful performance also saw him ascend to the top of the Delhi State Leaderboard with 35 points, dethroning Anurag Srivastava and climbing to third place on the NPC Leaderboard—solidifying his position as a very serious contender to make that National Poker Champion showdown!

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Bawa also cashed in NPS#159 Slamdunk, finishing 156th for 3,000, boosting his NPS winnings for the day to a stunning 12.32 Lakhs, making him the undisputed top earner of the day at the NPS. His total series winnings now sit at a cool 29.54 Lakhs from 16 cashes out of 46 tournaments played.

And then came the spectacular climax to his unforgettable night.

Making his Natural8 India debut, Bawa jumped into the 1:10 AM PLO Bounty Main Event 150, facing off against 175 contenders in a six-and-a-half-hour slugfest. At 7:38 AM, after outlasting and outplaying the field, he claimed victory, adding another 5.20 Lakhs (2.06 Lakhs in bounties) to his winnings. Winning a flagship title on a new platform in his first big outing was significant in itself, but this win completed an extraordinary hattrick of flagship victories in a single session—across both NLHE and PLO formats. His winnings for the night totalled a jaw-dropping 17.52 Lakhs plus, making him the day’s biggest winner across all platforms.

After winning Bronze Medals in the NPS#116 (7-Max) SPRINT and NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff, Ananth had a white-hot run on Wednesday, adding two more medals to his rapidly growing collection—a Silver and a Bronze.

The high point of his night came in the NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT, where he battled a fierce field to finish as runner-up, earning his first Silver Medal and 5.18 Lakhs—his biggest score of the series so far and third-best score on the platform.

Earlier in the night, he picked up his third Bronze Medal in the NPS#159 Slamdunk, finishing third for 1.24 Lakhs. With this, Ananth became one of three players to win two medals on Wednesday. He was also one of only two players last night to win their fourth medal of the series, joining a select group of 15 players who have won four or more medals at this year’s festival. This fantastic performance rocketed him to #3 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard with 11 points, just a single win away from overtaking the current leader, Ashish Munot, with 17 points.

The finish line for the colossal NPS India 2025 is in sight, but the action is only getting hotter! Day 24 delivered another explosive lineup of seven events, boasting a massive ₹2.20 Crores in guaranteed prizes (which was obliterated again). Among the seven champions crowned, five were already members of the Gold Medal club. While Saahib Bawa pulled off a legendary feat, becoming the first player to grab two Gold Medals in a single day in this series, Snehil ‘GTORanges’ Aggarwal nearly matched that accomplishment, snagging two medals of his own, including his second Gold of the series!

This year’s NPS has unearthed some true gems, and Aggarwal is undoubtedly one of them! Aggarwal, who entered this series with only a Silver Medal from the 2022 NPS#23 Relay, has been on an absolute tear, playing 162 events and cashing in a mind-blowing 110. Before last night, he’d made five final tables, converting three into podium finishes. His first breakthrough came in the NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive, where he captured his first-ever Gold. He later added two Bronze Medals from the NPS#35 Marathon and NPS#155 (PLO-5) Knockout. But Wednesday was a defining moment, embedding his name deeper in NPS history!

Aggarwal’s crowning achievement was conquering PokerBaazi’s ₹40 Lakhs GTD NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller. He pocketed ₹4.59 Lakhs after a four-way deal – his second-largest score on the platform this year. His Wednesday performance was simply breathtaking, as he also scooped up an incredible third Bronze Medal of the series in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT just 4.5 hours earlier, bringing his total medal count to five!

With this double, Aggarwal became one of only nine players to win two medals in a single day in this series, a feat achieved by two other players on Day 24. His five-medal tally (2 Gold and 3 Bronze) makes him part of an elite group of just four players that includes Bhanu Prakash KC, Mohit Bohra, and Vikranth Verma—no one has collected six medals yet, but there is still time!

Mohit Bohra

Looking at that signature win, Aggarwal fired three bullets in the 8:30 PM NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller, outlasting a formidable 559-entry field (289 unique), enduring the wild ups and downs of the four-card format across a long session of close to 9.5 hours to clinch his second career Gold Medal. The victory also delivered his third podium finish in a PLO event at the NPS – clearly, his PLO skills are honed to a razor’s edge.

But he operated like a machine, simultaneously running deep in the final NPS event of the day, the 9:30 PM NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, nearly achieving a double victory like Bawa. He made two entries in this late-night, rapid-fire duel, grabbing his third Bronze Medal of the series and adding ₹2.23 Lakhs to his haul.

This amazing two-medal performance by Aggarwal has completely reshuffled the top of the Haryana State Leaderboard, with Aggarwal now leading with 26 points. His closest competitors, Mohit Mehta (#2) and Mayank Jaggi (#3) are trailing with 19 points each, where a single victory could still change everything. By dominating the state leaderboard, Aggarwal is also a strong contender to make the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa, currently ranked #4 on the NPC Leaderboard. It seems almost certain that Haryana will be represented at this grand event; the only question is who will represent the state.

Mohit Mehta

As if that two-medal run wasn’t impressive enough, Aggarwal attacked all seven NPS events of the day, cashing in five, collecting nearly ₹7.19 Lakhs across his conquests, with the Gold and Bronze included. This recent surge has propelled him to a very respectable #7 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, and he’s also climbed to #27 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard – a hot streak that’s definitely worth celebrating.

Priyanka ‘prj12345’ Singh was a surprise contender in the NPS#162 (PLO-4) High Roller and came dangerously close to seizing the Gold. She delivered one potent performance for a player who has had a rocky ride over the last seven years! While her past PLO outings had been relatively modest, her run here was a revelation. Sure, it took five bullets to really get her engines firing. Still, the investment reaped massive rewards, landing her her first NPS medal (Silver) and the lion’s share of ₹6.05 Lakhs from the four-way deal – nearly double her previous best from her The Endeavour victory in 2019. Her Silver Medal finish also earned her a direct entry at #22 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard, although her accumulated losses still overshadow her platform earnings. However, this will undoubtedly be a huge confidence boost!

Priyanka Singh’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹67.80 Lakhs | Moves to #22 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹13.16 Lakhs

Sreeprakaash ‘fitzmagic’ Seetharaman, a familiar face at this year’s NPS, also had a breakthrough in the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller, snagging his first medal of the series (a Bronze and his second medal overall) and ₹4.08 Lakhs in prize money from that four-way deal. With two entries invested, he locked down his biggest score of 2025 and fifth-best overall, although his podium finish in last year’s NPS#92 HighRoller remains his top score. He now occupies the #28 spot on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

This mysterious player, coming off a fourth-place finish in Sunday’s NPS#139 Knockout (KO), missed the podium again but still scooped up a site-best ₹4,70,222. Adding a smaller cash from the NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT (171st for ₹9,622), ‘Pocket_aces’ finished the day with total winnings adding up to nearly ₹4.80 Lakhs.

Jammu & Kashmir’s State Leaderboard king and the NPS#105 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT Gold Medallist, Siddharth ‘Afterhours’ Jolly (5th for ₹2.29 Lakhs), along with the five-medal beast Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma (6th for ₹1.63 Lakhs), rounded out the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller final table.

The ₹11,500 buy-in NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller was a true spectacle, generating a monstrous ₹55.90 Lakhs prize pool, crushing its advertised guarantee by nearly 40%. The top 107 finishers earned a minimum payout of ₹19,006—1.7 times the buy-in, making it a memorable night of high-stakes poker. And this sets the stage for even greater fireworks, with some of the biggest NPS headliners still waiting in the wings.

We’re in the home stretch of the colossal NPS India 2025, with just five days left before this record-shattering series comes to a close – but don’t you dare think the action is slowing down! Wednesday, Day 24, was another scorcher, with the top pros dominating, but it also saw three first-timers join the prestigious NPS Gold Medal club! And among those fresh faces was Praveen ‘pokerfaceblr’ Chandra, who set PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT ablaze, finally ending a two-year title dry spell with a golden triumph!

Chandra has been playing it smart, choosing his battles carefully in this year`s NPS, participating in less than a third of the tournaments so far. But he definitely made his Wednesday grind count!

Despite facing a less-than-ideal losing streak over the past five years, Chandra summoned the performance of a lifetime in the 9:30 PM NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, the last scheduled event on the NPS roster. He topped a guarantee-crushing field of 590 players (1,198 total entries), which melted down to a champion in a lightning-fast showdown that concluded in under four hours! The spoils of victory were his first-ever NPS medal (a radiant Gold) and a career-best ₹4.17 Lakhs to revitalise his bankroll – a welcome relief from the prolonged downswing! With that, he teleported himself to #15 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

Praveen Chandra’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹36.74 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #15 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹6.19 Lakhs

Saransh ‘saransh004’ Garg, the poker sensation from Jabalpur, had a score to settle – he needed to climb the state leaderboard! A certified crusher with an overflowing trophy cabinet of NPS medals (five from previous editions), Garg added another Silver to his collection (his second of the series and a career-third Silver) with a runner-up finish in the NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, collecting a sweet ₹2.91 Lakhs.

Saransh Garg

This performance boosted Garg to 15 points on the Madhya Pradesh State Leaderboard, putting him in a dead heat with Sagar Raj (also boasting a Gold and a Silver)! It will be a nail-biting contest to see who ultimately prevails in this rivalry or if Puneet Mishra (or even a dark horse) can surge ahead and snatch the top spot! That said, with the state leader currently outside the top 12, there’s still time to gain ground (or lose it)! The pressure is mounting!

While that Silver Medal was the crown jewel of Garg’s Wednesday grind, his session was a marathon, with deep runs in five other events (four of them at the NPS), bringing his total midweek earnings to just a shade under ₹3.39 Lakhs, with ₹3.31 Lakhs from NPS events alone. This impressive display also catapulted him to #33 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY leaderboard.

Snehil ‘GTORanges’ Aggarwal was also deep in the trenches, landing on not one but two podiums. One was his second Gold Medal finish, putting an exclamation point to his stunning NPS India 2025 campaign! Aggarwal’s been a dangerous player all series, with a previous Gold in NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive and two Bronze finishes in NPS#35 Marathon and Tuesday’s NPS#155 (PLO-5) Knockout (PKO). But his Wednesday run was legendary!

He joined a rare group of just nine players to win two medals in a single day, a feat two other players also managed to pull off on Wednesday. His podium streak began in the NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, where he earned a Bronze and ₹2.23 Lakhs after two entries, adding to his string of deep runs in the series.

But the headline moment was still to come. Just 4.5 hours later, he was crowned champion of the NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller, defeating a top-tier field of 559 entries (289 unique) to grab his second NPS Gold of the series and a sweet ₹4.59 Lakhs, settling for a four-way deal. He fired three entries in this high-stakes clash, but it paid off, giving him his second-biggest score on the platform this year!

The win brings Aggarwal`s NPS India 2025 medal count to a staggering five (2 Gold & 3 Bronze), putting him in an elite group of only four players to achieve that milestone, alongside Bhanu Prakash KC, Mohit Bohra, and Vikranth Verma. He also overtook Mohit Mehta at the top of the Haryana State Leaderboard with 26 points and climbed to #4 on the NPC Leaderboard, making him a strong contender for the National Poker Champion face-off in Goa.

And Aggarwal wasn’t finished. He entered all seven NPS events on Wednesday, cashing in five and raking in almost ₹7.19 Lakhs in total, the two medals included. His performance has bumped him up to a very healthy #7 on the NPS Series Leaderboard with 27,390 points from 110 cashes out of the 162 tournaments played, and he now sits pretty at #27 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard!

The NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT final table was no walk in the park, also featuring the NPS#120 Wednesday Volley Silver Medallist Vishal ‘Darky’ Ojha (5th for ₹1.19 Lakhs)!

Vishal Ojha

As has been the trend with the Hypers throughout NPS India 2025, the NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT, with its ₹3,450 buy-in, was a massive success. It demolished its advertised guarantee, creating a delicious ₹35.94 Lakhs prize pool. The tournament paid out the top 201 players, each locking in at least ₹5,750, maintaining the record-breaking momentum as this incredible series speeds toward its conclusion.

The finish line is practically waving at us in the record-smashing NPS India 2025, but the action is still red-hot. Wednesday, Day 24, was another chapter in this epic poker story! We saw a feast of flagships for the mid-stakes warriors and enough high-octane action to keep the top guns blazing. Seven high-voltage tournaments delivered non-stop thrills, keeping everyone glued to their screens from the afternoon well into Thursday morning. And that’s not even counting the qualifiers for the two NPS giants: the ₹10 Crores GTD NPS#191 Main Event and the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#190 Golden Rush!

For once, the seasoned pros took the reins, with four of the seven newly crowned champions already members of the NPS Gold Medal club. Saahib Bawa pulled off a legendary feat, becoming the first (and still the only) player to snatch two Gold Medals in a single day in this series. But there was another name whispered in the halls of poker greatness: Trivandrum’s Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan, who finally grasped that elusive Gold!

Sreekanth Narayan
Sreekanth Narayan

Narayan, the legendary G.O.A.T. 2.0 runner-up (who also finished #2 in the 2023 POY race) with zero medals from previous NPS editions, came into this year’s series with a clear mission. And has he ever delivered! Having played an incredible 107 tournaments, he’s come in with fire in his belly, boasting a 37% in-the-money rate and five final tables. He’d already snagged two podium finishes coming into Wednesday, grabbing back-to-back Silver Medals in NPS#47 Slamdunk and NPS#138 (4-Max) Hyper, carrying the weight of Kerala on his shoulders. But the Gold remained elusive until Wednesday, that is.

Like clockwork, Narayan launched his Wednesday NPS campaign with the 2:30 PM flagship, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#157 Megadive. It took a little time to find his rhythm, needing to reload twice (firing three bullets) before hitting his stride. But once he did, there was no stopping this freight train! He steamrolled a massive field of 1,216 entries (608 unique) in a gruelling, over nine-hour battle of wits and endurance. And after a string of near-misses (his last major win was The Pride in August), he clinched his first flagship title of the year, a well-deserved ₹2.90 Lakhs, and, of course, that long-awaited Gold Medal.

That’s not all. With this win, Narayan is now one of 33 players with three or more medals and delivered Kerala its first Gold of the series (he’s single-handedly responsible for three of the state’s seven leaderboard medals). And to put it sweetly, he now finds himself with a fighting chance at making that National Poker Champion showdown in Goa, climbing to #11 on the NPC Leaderboard. The way he’s playing, that dream of representing his state in this incredible national face-off is starting to look very real!

Narayan put in a full shift at the NPS, cashing in five of the seven listed events and stuffing his pockets with nearly ₹3.69 Lakhs!

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#157 Megadive for ₹2,90,000

> 17th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#160 Knockout (PKO) for ₹34,275

> 11th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#159 Slamdunk for ₹23,200

> 64th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹11,501

> 162nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT for ₹9,623

The final showdown for the NPS#157 Megadive Gold Medal was a clash between two veterans – facing Narayan was the multi-talented Shravan ‘FishStars’ Chhabria! This guy’s been around the block, having dabbled in everything from a serious cricket career to even starring in some major movies!

Shravan Chhabria
Shravan Chhabria

But Chhabria’s poker achievements stand on their own. He boasts some impressive results, like crushing the IPM#115 Big Bounty and finishing runner-up in big-ticket events like the PPL#23 HighRoller and The Summit. However, his last major win was way back in December, in Adda52’s Head Shot Bounty.

That’s not to say Chhabria hasn’t been knocking on the door. He won a Silver Medal in the NPS#23 Knockout (PKO) and had another golden opportunity in the NPS#157 Megadive. Chhabria also needed a second bullet to really find his rhythm, and while he played a rock-solid game to reach the heads-up match, he had to, once again, settle for Silver (his second medal of the series and fourth overall), collecting a cool ₹2.03 Lakhs!

Adding to his busy Wednesday, Chhabria scored another decent payday in the NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT (92nd for ₹16,307), bringing his total to just under ₹2.19 Lakhs.

Shravan Chhabria’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.55 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.99 Crores | Moves to #29 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Silver & 2 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹25.24 Lakhs

And we also have Mandar ‘MAMA04’ Madaye, a mid-stakes force from Mumbai and a familiar face on the circuit. Madaye, Junglee Poker’s Thursday Thunder champion from January and the 2022 NPS#47 Monday Run-Up Silver Medallist, added another medal on the board for Maharashtra, grabbing the Bronze in the NPS#157 #Megadve (his first medal this series and third overall). This performance rewarded him with a sweet ₹1.55 Lakhs – his biggest score of the year so far.

The reg-heavy NPS#157 Megadive final table was packed with familiar faces, including Suraj ‘MR8BEAST’ N Yadav (4h for ₹1.16 Lakhs), last month’s Daily Last Chance champion Cholaraj ‘C11R’ G (5th for ₹82,750), NPS India 2025 double Gold Medallist Wilson ‘kalingkaling’ Yomso (6th for ₹60,750), Naman ‘Nutella’ Bohra (7th for ₹47,250), and Monday`s NPS#144 (7- Max) Hyper Gold Medallist Amulya ‘Amulyeaah’ Krishna (8th for ₹35,750).

While the NPS#157 Megadive was the perfect kickoff to Day 24 of NPS India 2025, the ₹2,300 buy-in event saw a tiny ₹68,000 overlay. This meant extra value for the 201 players who cashed, each walking away with at least ₹4,000. We’re in the home stretch of this incredible series, and the excitement is almost unbearable!

The NPS India 2025 might be approaching its final act, but the epic comebacks keep coming! Wednesday, Day 24, witnessed a familiar poker powerhouse, Young Gun Siddharth ‘schemer’ Karia, a two-time NPS Gold Medallist, finally add a third Gold to his overflowing trophy case, dominating PokerBaazi’s 20 Lakhs GTD NPS#159 Slamdunk for a long-awaited victory and his first medal of this series.

Siddharth Karia
Siddharth Karia

Karia is best known for his live tournament heroics across the Asian circuit, with impressive runs like a victory in the Won Poker Cup and deep finishes in the USOP Hai Phong and APT Taipei Poker Classic last year. But since his Junglee Poker VS#58 Main Event takedown in October 2023, he’s been relatively quiet on the online front. But last night, he showed up, and he dominated.

He entered the 5:30 PM Slamdunk, facing off against 602 other hopefuls (1,302 total entries). After a gruelling, eight-hour-plus battle, Karia stood tall, adding another Gold Medal to his collection (he previously won the 2024 NPS #105 Deepdive and the 2022 NPS#46 SPRINT) – he now boasts three medals, all Gold. The win earned him 2.32 Lakhs—his biggest score on the platform this year—snapping a five-month title drought.

But Karia wasn’t about to call it a night. Two more cash finishes boosted his Wednesday take to over 2.47 Lakhs, and just like that, he’s now #3 on the Gujarat State Leaderboard, trailing the seemingly unstoppable Mohit Bohra and Bhavik Khatsuria.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#159 Slamdunk for 2,31,600

> 26th in Adda52’s Maverick for 10,451

> 218th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#160 Knockout (PKO) for 5,300

Siddharth Karia’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: 9.02 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 1.64 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #3 on the Gujarat State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 3 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: 23.28 Lakhs

Nipping on Karia’s heels in the NPS#159 Slamdunk was ‘rajankaushik’, a mystery player who’s been quietly honing their skills in the low-to-mid stakes since August 2018. But Wednesday night was a game-changer. Usually flying under the radar, ‘rajankaushik’ came this close to their first-ever NPS Gold, finishing runner-up to Karia. Still, they walked away with a personal best 1.61 Lakhs (making a recovery on past losses) and their first-ever NPS medal—a hard-earned Silver. The finish also got them to #3 on the Jharkhand State Leaderboard as one of only five medallists from the state so far.

rajankaushik’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: 34.23 Lakhs | Moves to #3 on the Jharkhand State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: 2.65 Lakhs

Raghav ‘scambrahm’ Ananth has been an absolute machine at NPS India 2025, proving himself to be one of the festival’s true stars. A well-known figure in the poker community, Ananth has been steadily ascending over the past two years, and Wednesday night was another milestone in his career. Already a two-time Bronze Medalist from NPS#116 (7-Max) SPRINT and NPS#137 Sunday Kickoff, Ananth went on a fiery streak on Day 24, collecting two more medals—a Silver and a Bronze.

Raghav Ananth
Raghav Ananth

First, he claimed Bronze in NPS#159 Slamdunk, walking away with 1.24 Lakhs after firing seven daring entries in the intense competition. But the fireworks didn’t stop there. Later in the night, Ananth notched up his biggest score of the series yet, finishing runner-up in the NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT for his first Silver Medal and a hefty 5.18 Lakhs payout—his third-best career score.

With this double-medal feat, Ananth joined a very select group of just nine players to win two medals in a single day in this series. He also became one of only two players last night to claim their fourth medal of the series, earning a place among an elite club of 15 players with four or more medals at NPS India 2025. His success boosted him to #3 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

Ananth didn’t stop at medals—he went deep in three more NPS events, swelling his Wednesday haul to nearly 6.65 Lakhs, and even punched his ticket to Day 2 of the NPS#191 Main Event, putting the perfect exclamation point on a highly lucrative session!

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT for 5,17,691

The NPS#159 Slamdunk final table was a dynamic mix of newcomers and seasoned sharks, including the UP State Leaderboard #3 Nitesh ‘batmanpok’ Katiyar (4th for 91,600), Co-founder & CMO of Sportsbaazi and NPS#18 Marathon Silver Medallist Puneet ‘neo1 ‘Dua (5th for 66,200), Himalaya ‘pahaadisheep’ Tarani (6th for 48,600), Prince ‘poker7664’ Kumar (7th for 37,800), and NPS#30 Slamdunk Gold Medallist Ganesh ‘Ganesh24’ Durgade (8th for 28,600).

Amid a guarantee-crushing day at NPS India 2025, the 1,725 buy-in NPS#159 Slamdunk stood out as a rare exception, with a tiny overlay of 47,000. However, the 20 Lakhs guaranteed prize pool still ensured generous payouts, with the top 219 players cashing in, each taking home at least 3,000, keeping the action and rewards flowing at this epic series as it approaches its grand finale.

The NPS India 2025 has been a constant source of poker fireworks, and Wednesday’s action kept that adrenaline pumping. Amidst a day of incredible comebacks, the story of Shivam ‘broosky’ Shukla truly resonated. He was among the two fresh faces to capture their first NPS Gold Medals. A low-to-mid stakes player, whose last PokerBaazi victory was back in December in the (6-Max) SPRINT, and his last PokerBaazi flagship win stretching all the way back to 2023 in The Big Show, decided it was time for a fresh start. And a fresh start he made on Day 24!

Shivam Shukla
Shivam Shukla

For Shukla, it was his first win of the year, and he delivered a performance that will be etched in memory. Beneath the bright lights of the NPS India 2025, he didn’t just grab a PokerBaazi flagship title; he seized his first-ever NPS medal (a glorious, shimmering Gold). His dominating run in the ₹15 Lakhs GTD NPS#158 Deepdive saw him rake in a sweet ₹1.32 Lakhs after a savvy heads-up deal, proclaiming his return to the winner’s circle with a thunderclap!

One of the series’ most wallet-friendly events, the 4 PM NPS#158 Deepdive, was no easy task. It was a poker marathon, clocking in at over 8.5 hours. After some early stumbles, Shukla displayed the heart of a lion, not even needing to use a single re-entry. That fighting spirit was everything. He outmanoeuvred, outplayed, and outlasted a colossal field of 1,817 entrants (915 unique) to collect his first piece of treasured NPS hardware. And to ice the cake, the win blasted him to #14 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Shivam Shukla’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.90 Crores | Lifetime Winnings: ₹38.30 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #14 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹3.37 Lakhs

But the NPS#158 Deepdive was far from a solo flight. Kolkata-based poker stalwart Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna, a former Patni Millionaire champion with two The MoneyMaker championship bracelets, fresh off a Gold win in NPS#116 (7-Max) SPRINT just last Wednesday, was on a personal crusade for his second NPS Gold of the season. He came dangerously close. Thanks to the deal, Bubna scooped the biggest slice of the prize pool, a cool ₹1.53 Lakhs, after firing an ambitious six entries. While the Gold Medal remained just out of reach in the final moments, Bubna proudly claimed the Silver (his second medal of the series) – his fourth NPS medal overall!

Harsh Bubna
Harsh Bubna

This knockout performance has launched Bubna to #2 on the West Bengal State Leaderboard with 15 points, breathing down the neck of the two-time Gold Medallist Goonjan Mall (20 points). He’s also vaulted to #9 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, with a staggering 26,981 points from 115 cashes (out of the 158 events he’s played).

Goonjan Mall

Bubna’s Wednesday was a poker masterclass; his total earnings flirted around ₹1.99 Lakhs from deep runs in five NPS events. Plus, he punched his ticket to Day 2 of the NPS#190 Golden Rush.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#158 Deepdive for ₹1,52,995* (heads-up deal)

> 97th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#161 (6-Max) Big SPRINT for ₹16,038

> 89th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller for ₹19,010

> 138th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#159 Slamdunk for ₹3,800

> 127th in PokerBaazi’s NPS#163 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹7,188

> Made Day 2 in PokerBaazi’s NPS#190 Golden Rush (Qualifier 4)

Harsh Bubna’s NPS stats: Moves to #2 on the West Bengal State Leaderboard | Moves to #9 on the NPS Series Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold & 2 Silver | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹48.52 Lakhs

And the plot thickened. Chandigarh’s poker sharp, Arjanveer ‘holdbaby’ Singh Chadha, the 2022 POY#3, after a string of near-podium finishes in the NPS#30 Slamdunk, NPS#86 Run-Up, and NPS#99 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, finally broke his medal drought this series. He added a sixth piece to his overflowing NPS trophy cabinet, taking home the Bronze Medal (his first medal of the series) after a powerful third-place finish in the NPS#158 Deepdive, adding ₹86,250 to his bankroll. He’s now ranked #6 on the Chandigarh State Leaderboard.

Arjanveer Singh Chadha
Arjanveer Singh Chadha

Chadha went into overdrive, cashing in all but one of the day’s NPS events for a mid-week payday just north of ₹1.41 Lakhs! And that’s not all: He also cruised past the ₹6 Crore milestone in tracked online profits – a monumental achievement, considering how few have even touched that number in total winnings!

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s NPS#158 Deepdive for ₹86,250

> 61st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#162 (PLO-4) HighRoller for ₹24,037
