With no significant online series running on the domestic platforms, the action was relatively slow for the second consecutive day. Here is the quick recap.
Spartan Poker
The biggest guaranteed tourney of the day, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack, enjoyed a smashing run. The ₹3,300 buy-in event logged in 708 entries, to comfortably surpass its posted guarantee, accruing ₹21.24 Lakhs in the prize pool. It took seven hours and thirteen minutes to find a winner in Aman ‘Karmapoker’ Parakh. The budding talent beat the more experienced Shashank ‘westworld’ Jain (runner-up for ₹2.58 Lakhs) heads-up to win a personal-best ₹4.10 Lakhs. Parakh, who has been among the top contenders on the TLB leaderboard, won two titles yesterday. The other title victory came in PokerBaazi’s Holdem Boost DST (6-Max) for ₹33,768, taking his lifetime-recorded scores to ₹1.44 Crores.
The other marque tourney on the site, the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Race was shipped by
‘anand85,’ who collected ₹1.01 Lakhs in prize money following a five-way deal with ‘Hiteshh’ (runner-up for ₹91,360), Pravin ‘Youraiseishove’ Jain (3rd for ₹87,837), Ritesh ‘MrIndia1987’ Joshi (4th for ₹70,486), and ‘chotunitkat’ (5th for ₹58,784). Ashwin ‘A116’ Vijay posted deep runs in both the Mega Stack (8th for ₹46,940) and The Race (7th for ₹24,900).
PokerBaazi
PokerBaazi`s Tuesday flagship, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Endeavour, was unable to avert an overlay. Sporting a buy-in of ₹3,850, the event had 406 runners in the fray, registering a shortfall of ₹79,000. Powering his way through the field was Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover, who defeated ‘karan23’ (runner-up for ₹2.21 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹3.15 Lakhs. This happens to be Grover’s third-best online score, and his lifetime winnings have reached ₹30.9 Lakhs after this win.
Adda52
Technical issues had forced the site to cancel all its MTT`s on Monday. Adda52 managed to resolve them in time to run the Tuesday flagships. The star on Tuesday was Uday ‘udaymoola’ Moola, who came out on top of the 206-entry field in the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Hitman to win ₹2.09 Lakhs. The 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo finished runner-up for ₹1.22 Lakhs.
PokerStars India
PokerStars India has been facing the brunt of continuous overlays, and this has forced the site to revisit the guarantees of its flagship tourneys. The Tuesday flagship, the Sixth Sense, had its guarantee reduced by ₹1 Lakh since last week, but even that was unable to avert an overlay. The ₹3,300 buy-in tourney could only muster 201 entries, falling ₹97,000 short of its new ₹7 Lakhs guarantee. The top four finishers decided to chop the prize equally and play for the title. Eventually, ‘max2172’ took down the title for ₹88,474. Vaibhav ‘vaibsss’ Bhatia (runner-up for ₹88,474), Ranjeet ‘Bedevilforyou’ Negi (3rd for ₹88,474), and ‘Ricky000029 $$$’ (4th for ₹88,474) were the other top finishers.

The starting field whittled down to a heads-up between Arjunn ‘MaalChaHee’ Agrawal and Vikram ‘GreenSTUFF79’ Mishra. In the end, Agarwal took down the title for ₹1.01 Lakhs. The runner-up Mishra took home ₹75,363.
