Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 came to a close on Monday night, with the ₹2 Crore GTD FTS – Main Event crowning a new champion. Just as the FTS excitement was settling down, the site revved up the action for the low to mid-stakes players by rolling out the ₹1.40 Crore GTD Ultimate Value Series (UVS). The opening day of the series saw six UVS events crown winners, while the new additions – Bluff Master and Everest, ran their first starting flight.

But we’ll get to the UVS later. It was the live-streamed FTS – Main Event that grabbed all the eyeballs yesterday. On Sunday, the Main Event ran two starting flights, attracting 594 entries between them to record a massive ₹9.92 Lakhs in overlays.

The five-handed final table began at 5 PM yesterday and was live-streamed from 6 PM. Young Gun Devang Yadav (8,243,165), a former Millionaire champion, was on the forefront when the play began, with PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan (7,022,233) second in chips. As the players fell, it was Yadav and Wadhawan cruising into the finale. The duo eventually struck a heads-up deal that declared Wadhawan the champion. The 28-year-old Chandigarh-based poker pro won the 18K diamond-studded Gold Medallion and a career-best ₹33.13 Lakhs. Yadav collected ₹29.96 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.
