Thursday laid out a firecracker line-up of tournaments, and Spartan Poker`s The Millionaire Series dished out the day`s most massive prizes. It turned out to be an eventful day for the PokerGuru Ambassadors, with the team winning two titles, posting two runner-up scores, along with a litany of FT finishes last night.
The #1 ranked player on the annual leaderboard standings, PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh, became the third Millionaire at Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series 2.0 after winning the ₹50 Lakhs GTD High Roller for ₹17.24 Lakhs. The former IOPC – The Crown and Millionaire champion, Singh, has become the first player to cross the ₹1 Crore mark in yearly profits. The two-time Millionaire champion Yudhishter Jaswal (2nd for ₹11.61 Lakhs) and Ranjeet Negi (3rd for ₹8.18 Lakhs) secured podium finishes in the Thursday night flagship!
Dhiraj Lakhotia scored a thumping victory in Adda52’s Godfather, scoring ₹5.91 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Sagar Choudhury.
PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘Emperor457’ Veeravalli championed PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹5.09 Lakhs beating teammates Ashish Ahuja and Kartik Ved to the finish line.
The other Thursday marquees were taken down by an eclectic mix of new names and old-timers like Ashish Kumar, Bhanu Prakash KC, Sandeep Singh Kohli, Akshay Asawa, and Sankalp Marwah.

Spartan Poker turned on the heat several notches higher on Thursday as The Millionaire Series 2.0`s ₹50 Lakhs GTD Event #8 High Roller took center stage. The costliest tourney at the series, the ₹27,500 entry buy-in event managed to register an eye-popping 326 entries to post ₹81.50 Lakhs in the prize pool (over 63% more than its advertised guarantee). After a marathon of nine hours of playing, PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh came out on top to win ₹17.24 Lakhs – this third seven-figure score this year. The two-time The Millionaire champion Yudhishter ‘McFly’ Jaswal secured a runner-up prize of ₹11.61 Lakhs, while Ranjeet ‘Rj147’ Negi placed third for a career-best ₹8.18 Lakhs.
The former IOPC Crown & The Millionaire winner, Singh, has had an impeccable 2021 so far, clinching big wins almost every month. Currently, the top-ranked player on the annual leaderboard, Laksh Pal Singh, has become the most profitable MTT player of the year and the first to cross ₹1 Crore in yearly profits.

After firing four bullets, the user ‘NovaSky47’ shipped the tourney, besting PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘Vishalb22’ Bajaj in the heads-up play to win a site-best ₹2.30 Lakhs. The March The Millionaire champion, Vishal Bajaj, settled for a runner-up payday worth ₹1.78 Lakhs, boosting his lifetime tally to ₹2.23 Crores (₹40.81 Lakhs in net profits).
Tuesday’s Sixth Sense champion Akshay ‘powershell42’ Asawa outlasted a field of 158 entries in the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Classic to win ₹47,781. ‘lavesh786’ placed runner-up for ₹36,788. Asawa also placed eighth in PokerBaazi’s PLO Boost Monster for ₹4,677, touching ₹94.25 Lakhs in lifetime winnings (₹30.53 Lakhs in net profits).

PokerBaazi’s 8 PM flagship, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit, blew the lid off its advertised guarantee as 307 entrants helped collect a smashing ₹23.03 Lakhs prize pool (over 50% more than its listed guarantee). The field whittled down to a three-way showdown between PokerGuru Ambassadors Naresh ‘Emperor457’ Veeravalli, Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja, and Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved. Eventually, the former The Millionaire and two-time The Elite champion, Naresh Veeravalli, trumped his two teammates to win the title, bagging a personal-best (on PokerBaazi) ₹5.09 Lakhs. Yesterday’s High Roller victory happens to be Laksh Pal Singh’s seventh flagship title of the year. In addition to the podium finish, he also ran deep in Adda52’s Godfather, placing 15th for ₹27,135. He is once again the reigning annual leaderboard topper with over ₹1.77 Crores in recorded earnings in 2021 and sits on ₹6.75 Crores in lifetime winnings.
