The online action has reached a feverish pitch, with The Millionaire and Value Bomb Extreme setting the stage for a blockbuster Sunday ahead.

Like last week, most of the Friday flagships crushed their listed guarantees, and the PSL co-founder and CEO Pranav Bagai emerged as the day`s top scorer. The long-time industry veteran championed Spartan Poker’s The Elite to win 7.95 Lakhs, with the four-time Destiny champion Nitin Arora placing runner-up for 5.35 Lakhs.

The two-time Millionaire champion Sriharsha Doddapaneni made the Friday headlines after shipping PokerBaazi’s Weekly HighRoller for 4.15 Lakhs. Young Gun Gaurav Sood placed second for 2.91 Lakhs, his six-figure haul pushing him ahead of PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh to the top of the 2021 leaderboard standings.

The #4 ranked player on the annual rankings, PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja, collected 4.01 Lakhs from his runner-up finish in Adda52’s The Ballers. The mystery crusher ‘pokraj’ championed the event for the second time last night for 6.62 Lakhs.

Vikram Mishra, Ankita Ajay, Sankalp Marwah, Aditya Kulkarni, and Shivam Shukla shipped the other marquee tourneys of the day.

Spartan Poker`s 1 Crore GTD The Millionaire continues to pull in the crowds for its last edition of April. Day 1B of the 5,500 entry buy-in tourney recorded 337 participants, and only 48 players advanced through to Day 2. Trending Thursday champion ‘Flahoolick’ (anonymity requested) (220,150), Rajiv ‘BHAI HO THO AISA’ Srivastava (215,783), and birthday boy Vatsalya ‘TooEasy’ Rao (180,243) bagged the top three stacks of the day.

The event has filled in 632 entries (Day 1A – 295 and Day 1B – 337) so far, with three flights to go before Day 2 on Sunday.

MTT players had two other headline tourneys to choose from on Spartan Poker last night. The day`s featured offering, the 30 Lakhs GTD The Elite, had 376 contenders signing for 11,000, creating a juicy 37.60 Lakhs prize pool (going 25% over its listed guarantee). The 9:30 PM tourney ended at 6:06 AM today, with PSL co-founder and CEO Pranav ‘Boller’ Bagai coming out on top to win 7.95 Lakhs. The four-time Destiny winner Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora finished runner-up for 5.35 Lakhs. The Elite score made Bagai the day`s top scorer, boosting his lifetime tally to 1.05 Crores.

The site`s Friday night value offering, the 10 Lakhs GTD Futuristic, broke even yet again after 1,363 participants bought in for 880. It took nine hours and thirty-four minutes of non-stop play before Vikram ‘MentalScience’ Mishra shipped the tourney for 2.05 Lakhs. Pranav ‘pranav40973’ Agrawal finished runner-up for 1.25 Lakhs. Mishra now has 1.20 Crores in lifetime online winnings, with 27.20 Lakhs in net profits.

PokerStars India’s 3,850 entry buy-in Friday headliner, the 7 Lakhs GTD Uppercut MAGIC Edition, logged in 213 entries, and 23 places got paid a share of the 7.21 Lakhs prize pool. ‘Raag-bhav’ shipped the tourney, netting a site-best 1.51 Lakhs (includes 88,730 in bounties), with ‘ForeverTJ’ placing runner-up for 95,764 (includes 33,387 in bounties). With this win, ‘Raag-bhav’s recorded winnings on PokerStars India have touched 11.15 Lakhs, bringing him in the green.

The 2 Lakhs GTD The Classic PKO saw ‘Prison M!ke’ (anonymity requested) outlasting the 118-entry field to win 45,734 (includes 25,875 in bounties). PokerStars India-reg Swapnil ‘pokpom1’ Patil (runner-up for 27,142) (includes 6,938 in bounties) and ‘hulk01234’ (3rd for 26,089) (includes 7,125 in bounties) cashed the other top payouts, courtesy of a three-way deal.

The biggest draw on PokerBaazi was Flight 1C of the “Value Bomb Extreme.” The 1,100 entry buy-in 50 Lakhs GTD tourney piled in another 865 entries (539 unique and 326 re-entries) on Friday, and 103 players bagged Day 2 stacks after the stipulated 27 levels of play. An anonymous user ‘sab55’ (591,000) bagged the end-of-day chip lead, also taking over the overall chip lead across the first three flights. ‘heartbroker’ (534,000) and Rakesh ‘spiboy314’ Gopal (413,000) rounded out the top three stacks of the day.

Running alongside the Value Bomb Extreme was the 12 Lakhs GTD The Weekly HighRoller. The 11,000 entry buy-in tourney clocked in 167 entrants, generating a guarantee-smashing 16.70 Lakhs prize pool. The IOPC Highroller and Super High Roller champion Sriharsha ‘ivey2’ Doddapaneni was the last player standing and won a site-best 4.15 Lakhs, denying two-time Weekly HighRoller champion, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood (runner-up for 2.91 Lakhs), the title.

The two-time Millionaire champion Sriharsha Doddapaneni now has 97.48 Lakhs in annual winnings, with over 66 Lakhs in annual profits. He currently ranked #4 among the most profitable players of 2021.

The Weekly HighRoller deep run happens to be the 2020 leaderboard topper Gaurav Sood`s second consecutive day placing runner-up in a flagship tourney. On Thursday, he took second place in Adda52’s Godfather for 3.82 Lakhs.

The Weekly HighRoller runner-up score and three other ITM finishes helped Sood jump two places to the #1 position on the 2021 leaderboard standings with ~1.46 Crores in recorded winnings. This is the second time this year Sood sits at the top of the yearly leaderboard. On April 2, Sood had landed himself the ‘numero uno’ position on the annual charts for a day.

Adda52`s Friday headliner, the 22.5 Lakhs GTD The Ballers, logged in 390 challengers to form a prize pool worth 26.72 Lakhs. The mystery crusher ‘pokraj’ came out trumps, winning the title for the second time for 6.63 Lakhs. The player had championed the event for the first time on January 1 for 5.63 Lakhs. ‘pokraj’ now has 96.67 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Adda52 (42.16 Lakhs in net profits).

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja placed runner-up in The Ballers for 4.01 Lakhs. Ahuja is currently ranked #4 on the annual charts with 1.30 Crores in annual winnings (49.30 Lakhs in net profits).
