The virtual poker action has been white-hot this April! PokerBaazi’s got players buzzing with its TDS-free offer, while Natural8 India is stoking the flames with its Bounty Hunters Series 2025. It’s created a high-energy vibe across the board, and with the National Poker Champion showdown heading to Goa this Sunday (April 13), the anticipation is only building.

Behind the scenes, Adda52 is stirring things up. Talk of a potential player pool integration with A23 Poker is floating around, a development that could seriously reshape the online poker hierarchy. With new big-ticket tournaments and boosted guarantees popping up, India’s original online poker platform looks like it’s prepping for a major push against PokerBaazi for tournament traffic dominance. Don’t forget Junglee Poker either; their mammoth ₹3.50+ Crores GTD Battle Ground Series means there’s zero downtime for serious grinders anywhere in the country.

But after a week where guarantees seemed like mere suggestions, Thursday night saw several high-profile tournaments across different sites failing to hit their targets, sprinkling juicy overlay value onto the tables!

And if there’s one name that’s been consistently setting the virtual felt ablaze, it’s Natural8 India’s ‘Shouryaanga.‘ This April has been their personal playground, and Thursday night was just another masterclass in dominance. Already boasting a Daily Hyper Special 88 title, a third-place finish in the Daily Hyper 50, and a recent runner-up spot in the Zodiac Goat High Roller just last Sunday, ‘Shouryaanga’ once again dove into the high-stakes deep end – and delivered the goods. Facing a field of 245 entries in that very same Zodiac Goat High Roller, ‘Shouryaanga’ incredibly finished runner-up again, pocketing a staggering ₹9.22 Lakhs – their third-largest score of 2025 and cementing their position as the day’s top earner! This latest score pushes ‘Shouryaanga’ over ₹30 Lakhs in April earnings alone and past ₹81 Lakhs for the year, keeping them firmly entrenched at the top of the monthly leaderboard standings!

Other notable performances on Natural8 India included:

> Pranay Chawla navigated a massive 2,579-entry field in the GG Masters Bounty 25 to finish second, adding ₹3.87 Lakhs to his bankroll and building on his PLO title from last month.

> Navin Bohania posted a commendable fifth-place finish in the 3,535-entry Bounty Blast Off 25, pocketing ₹3.01 Lakhs – his second major score in as many months on the platform.

> Aniket Waghmare kept his hot streak alive with a seventh-place finish in the Bounty Warm Up 88, adding ₹1.91 Lakhs to his April earnings.

Over on PokerBaazi’s The Summit, Themreirin Varah Ukhrul orchestrated a powerful return to the top. The player from Manipur conquered The Summit for the second time in his career, pulling in a hefty ₹7.50 Lakhs and claiming his first title of 2025. This significant win not only ended a four-month dry spell but also registered as his third-best career payout, injecting serious life back into his 2025 campaign. Facing him down was Prateek Sharma, still riding the momentum from a recent ((PLO-5) BOOST victory. Sharma pushed hard again, taking home the runner-up payday of ₹5.17 Lakhs – his second-best online result. Another small cash meant Sharma’s Thursday tally crossed ₹5.26 Lakhs.

Lavesh Meena simply refused to cool down, extending his blistering 2025 run with a spectacular cross-platform double. He first captured Adda52’s Thursday Thunder title for ₹1.47 Lakhs, then hours later, took down PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for another ₹2.14 Lakhs. Factoring in three more deep finishes, Meena’s Thursday rampage stuffed his pockets with nearly ₹4.32 Lakhs, lifting his 2025 title count to an impressive 11. Sharing the Big PLO-5 final table spotlight was the ever-present Advait Rajguru, the #5 finisher from the 2024 POY race who currently leads PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY board (#4 overall). The Bengaluru grinder, a dominant force during NPS India 2025, finished second to Meena in the PLO battle, earning ₹1.76 Lakhs. With four other cashes, Rajguru chalked up another profitable day, accumulating over ₹2.17 Lakhs.

Piyush Jain, a two-time The Endeavour champion, announced his return with authority on PokerBaazi by conquering the WTF. After ghosting the winner’s circle for a year and a half, a heads-up deal confirmed his comeback, awarding him the title and ₹3.12 Lakhs – a top-five score for him on the site. Meanwhile, ‘thekid‘ (anonymity requested), a proven winner with two The Millionaire titles, was forging their own comeback trail. Following a strong NPS India showing and a short lull, they came incredibly close to the WTF win. The final deal, however, saw them collect the larger monetary prize of ₹3.18 Lakhs – their second-best cash on PokerBaazi this year.

Ankit Bajaj, sitting high at #3 on the 2025 POY leaderboard with ₹1.40 Crores banked this year, kept his phenomenal run going. He seized the Adda52 Godfather crown for the second time, adding ₹3.08 Lakhs to his coffers – his best result on Adda52 in 2025. Nipping at his heels was the seasoned Delhi pro Abhimanyu Mittal, who just missed out on what would have been his fourth title this year. Mittal had to settle for the runner-up spot and ₹2.93 Lakhs. With four deep runs, he wrapped up the day with a total haul exceeding ₹3.12 Lakhs.

Aditya Kulkarni, the Mumbai-based veteran, carried his winning ways from last week’s Adda52 Friday Bounty over to Junglee Poker. He skillfully dismantled the field in the BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller, taking it down for ₹2.59 Lakhs, with a huge chunk (₹1.55 Lakhs) coming from bounties.

PokerBaazi also saw Daksh Kapoor triumph in the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.58 Lakhs, while Vishwas Khanna won the Summit Lite, collecting ₹1.55 Lakhs via a deal.

Shoutouts also go to Sharad Haridasan, Abhishek Pal (who snagged two titles!), Bhavit Jain, Sahil Verma, Shubham Upadhyay, Dayanand Prass, Jaikishan Jangid, and Rajat Jain for their victories in marquee events across the major platforms.

Here are the Thursday highlights!

Thursday nights are always PokerBaazi’s springboard into the explosive weekend action, and last night, the atmosphere was crackling. India’s online poker leader rolled out the big guns for its usual schedule, keeping the virtual tables overflowing well into Friday morning. Amping up the energy even more: players are getting that sweet TDS-free deal on early withdrawals this April, the buzz is building around game-changing new app features, and the much-talked-about National Poker Champion showdown lands in Goa starting Sunday!

Even with all this excitement swirling, the day’s main attraction, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit, finished just shy of its guarantee. It still pulled in more players than last week, and that little bit of overlay added an extra dash of spice, seemingly turning up the temperature on the fight for the crown. Emerging from the smoke of that intense contest was Themreirin ‘JCchon413’ Varah Ukhrul. A regular presence from Manipur since August 2022, already carrying weight from his December 2022 APT#40 Super HighRoller victory and last December’s PBC#1 MoneyMaker runner-up finish, Ukhrul put on a performance that made the virtual rail snap to attention.

The 8 PM headliner attracted a formidable field – 310 players swelled the entries to 534, creating a minefield of established pros and gritty grinders. Yet, over a marathon session stretching nearly nine hours, Ukhrul masterfully carved his way through the opposition. He outmanoeuvred every last rival to lock down his seventh major title overall and, significantly, got his first taste of championship glory for 2025. This win powerfully snapped a four-month title drought dating back to his (7-Max) Afternoon BOOST win last December and came with a staggering ₹7.50 Lakhs prize.

This was Ukhrul’s second time conquering The Summit (the first was October 2023), his third-best career score, and his biggest cash of 2025. His impressive haul was second only on the day’s leaderboard to Natural8 India crusher ‘Shouryaanga, who bagged a whopping ₹9.22 Lakhs for another runner-up finish in the Zodiac Goat HighRoller – making them the day’s top earner for the second time this week.

Themreirin Varah Ukhrul’s PokerBaazi stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.79 Crores | Lifetime Profit: ₹52.30 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

Almost writing the headline himself was Prateek ‘DABANGG2’ Sharma. Still warm from a small win in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) BOOST two weeks ago, Sharma seemed destined for another deep charge. But the poker gods seemed to have other plans, dealing him a familiar, frustrating hand. Still likely recalling the sting of two second-place finishes back in February (Big PLO-5, Blockbuster Lite), Sharma found himself just shy of the top spot again. After investing a couple of bullets and waging a fierce campaign, he ended the night in second place in The Summit, still walking away with a hefty ₹5.17 Lakhs – notably his second-best online score ever, right behind that #2 finish in The MoneyMaker last April. Another cash in the Big PLO-5 ensured his total earnings for the night crested the ₹5.26 Lakhs mark.

Prateek Sharma
Prateek Sharma

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹5,16,500

> 32nd in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹9,627

The Summit final table itself was loaded with proven talent. The lineup saw online phenom Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover grab third-place honours (₹3.85 Lakhs), NPS#98 Megadive Silver Medallist Avish ‘thehorse7’ Sharma take fourth (₹2.90 Lakhs), last night’s Summit Lite finalist ‘AilaGaya’ depart in sixth (₹2.01 Lakhs), and Tuesday‘s standout, the multi-talented Siddhanth ‘Bullzeye’ Kapoor keep his heater going by finishing seventh (₹1.59 Lakhs).

Despite the high-stakes drama, the ₹10,000 buy-in The Summit did close with that ₹3.56 Lakhs overlay. The silver lining was more value spread amongst the top 84 players. Cashing in this one meant walking away with a minimum of ₹21,000, translating to better than a double-up on the entry fee right from the start of the money bubble. With non-stop action, player-friendly promotions, and major events on the horizon, PokerBaazi is undeniably the hottest destination for MTT players!

Thursday night on PokerBaazi was humming, a real beehive of activity as the platform’s primetime tournaments lit up the screens. The action was relentless; the fields were jammed with regulars and up-and-comers, and savvy players could sniff out the value. Amidst the usual leaderboard jockeying and new names trying to make their mark, one name decisively sliced through the chatter—Piyush ‘aero’ Jain.

Piyush Jain
Piyush Jain

Jain, known for his stop-start presence on the virtual felt, had kept things low-key for over a year. But you could feel it last night – he was done lurking in the shadows. The two-time The Endeavour champion had picked his moment, and PokerBaazi’s WTF provided the ideal comeback stage.

Staring down a challenging field of 425 unique players (that grew to 793 total entries) in the 7:30 PM flagship, Jain delivered a textbook comeback performance. After a demanding seven-hour and 14-minute session, he skillfully manoeuvred his way to the finish line. A heads-up deal officially sealed his victory, funnelling ₹3.12 Lakhs into his bankroll – his fifth-best take on the platform. Even more significantly, this win emphatically snapped a lengthy year-and-a-half title-less streak. Bagging his first WTF title feels like a loud-and-clear statement: Jain’s competitive engine is fired up and running hot again.

Piyush Jain’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.53 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹5.49 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

While Jain was soaking in his long-overdue win, ‘thekid’ (anonymity requested) was crafting a powerful comeback story of their own in WTF.

Returning to the forefront after five weeks, ‘thekid,’ a decorated two-time The Millionaire champion, nearly took it all down. Their recent NPS India 2025 performance had already put them firmly on the radar (143 events played, 84 cashes, four final tables, plus Gold and Bronze Medals). That consistent high-volume play also cemented a third-place finish on the West Bengal State Leaderboard, right behind Goonjan Mall and Harsh Bubna.

Last night, that formidable form resurfaced in a nail-biting heads-up clash with Jain, pushing hard for their own first WTF title. Though the win ultimately slipped through their fingers, the deal ensured ‘thekid’ still walked away compensated handsomely, collecting ₹3.18 Lakhs – their second-biggest score on PokerBaazi this year.

The WTF final table was packed with serious talent. It featured recent Tuesday Takedown finalist Janish ‘janish1998’ Jain (3rd for ₹1.85 Lakhs), last week`s second-biggest scorer Sagar ‘BustedAA’ Raj (4th for ₹1.43 Lakhs), BG#17 Wednesday Superstack champion Aritra ‘morsmordre’ Hazra (5th for ₹1.17 Lakhs), Minkle Singh ‘BANBEER’ Parihar (7th for ₹75,000), and the consistently dangerous Rising Star Ritwik ‘Ritwikkhanna’ Khanna, fresh off BSS SuperStack and Big PLO-5 final tables (8th for ₹54,750).

Like the bigger The Summit, the WTF also finished below its guarantee, posting a ₹2.24 Lakhs overlay on the ₹25 Lakhs promise. For players jumping into the ₹3,300 buy-in event, this translated to outstanding value. The top 118 spots paid out, and even players just scraping into the money collected ₹7,500 – a sweet return for their grind! Delivering this kind of high-stakes drama and consistent player value is how PokerBaazi stays perched at the top of India’s online poker mountain.

Final Table Results

Buy-in – ₹3,000

Entries – 244

Re-entries – 210

Prize Pool – ₹11,84,486

Places Paid – 65

PokerBaazi’s ₹12 Lakhs GTD Summit Lite was another hotspot of action on Thursday night. While it didn’t quite hit the guarantee like some other events earlier in the week, it still pulled in a stacked field, with 244 players generating 454 entries!

After six hours and twenty minutes of intense play, emerging from this virtual scrum was long-time PokerBaazi regular Vishwas ‘quickmaths’ Khanna. A familiar face on the platform for six solid years, Khanna’s journey has been a bit of a seesaw, weathering some tough downswings but always finding his way back to the top. And after a three-month title drought since his Daily Night SPRINT takedown in January, Khanna came roaring back. Firing two well-aimed bullets, he conquered the Summit Lite, walking away with a hefty ₹1.55 Lakhs following a heads-up deal! This represented his first title of 2025, his biggest score of the year, and the fifth-largest cash of his career, giving his platform profits a serious shot in the arm.

Vishwas Khanna’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹56.79 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹1.98 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1

Hot on Khanna’s heels, pushing him right to the final hand, was M ‘Bluffmaster055’ Jimmy, who entered the Summit Lite with a clear mission. Still riding the high from a Bronze Medal finish in NPS#89 (6-Max) SPRINT, Jimmy came close to snagging his first major title of 2025. He put in the work (and the money), firing five bullets to power deep into the tournament. He made it all the way to the final two, setting up that heads-up deal. In a fascinating twist, Jimmy negotiated the lion’s share of the prize money from the deal despite eventually finishing runner-up, walking away with ₹1.63 Lakhs – his second-best score on PokerBaazi this year!

Jimmy’s dedication was clear during NPS India 2025 (playing 139 events, cashing 67 times, making three final tables), which also saw him finish a strong #2 on the Manipur State Leaderboard.

M Jimmy’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹1.23 Crores | Site Profits: ₹22.93 Lakhs

The Summit Lite final table featured its share of the usual suspects, including Gautam ‘Actaeon6079’ Bharadwaj (3rd for ₹98,400), last night`s The Summit finalist ‘AilaGaya’ (4th for ₹72,000), ‘dilbaghsingh’ (5th for ₹57,600), and last night’s WTF finalist and recent BG#17 Wednesday Superstack champion Aritra ‘morsmordre’ Hazra (7th for ₹36,720).

The ₹3,000 buy-in Summit Lite ended up falling just a hair short of its ₹12 Lakhs guarantee, missing by ₹15,514. This small overlay meant a little extra juice in the prize pool for the players involved. The generous pot was distributed among the top 65 finishers, with even a minimum cash worth ₹6,600, adding to what was already a high-energy Thursday on PokerBaazi.

Final Table Results

  1. Vishwas ‘quickmaths’ Khanna – ₹1,55,014*

The digital tables at PokerBaazi have been white-hot this April, no doubt fuelled by that player-friendly TDS-free offer on cashouts. The result has been a massive surge in players and action that feels like it’s crackling with electricity. With the National Poker Champion showdown set to hit Goa this Sunday (April 13), India’s poker giant isn’t just basking in the hype—it’s powering it.

After a week where PokerBaazi’s flagship tourneys seemed unstoppable, routinely smashing their guarantees, Thursday night threw a curveball. Across the online poker landscape, several big events stumbled, and overlays crept in– and even PokerBaazi felt the pinch. Only two of its banner events, the Daily Last Chance and the ever-popular Big PLO-5, managed to hold the line and surpass their prize pool targets.

Meanwhile, over at Adda52, change is in the air, with whispers of an upcoming player pool integration with A23 Poker. India’s oldest online poker platform is quietly raising the stakes. With new flagship tournaments and bigger guarantees appearing on their schedule, Adda52 seems ready to square up against PokerBaazi in the race for MTT dominance!

Cutting straight through the night’s surprising trends was one of the circuit’s most scorching players, Lavesh ‘upay4myweed98’ Meena. Already putting together a monster 2025, Meena delivered a stunning one-two punch on Thursday, taking down two major titles – PokerBaazi’s 10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5 and Adda52’s new 7.50 Lakhs GTD Thursday Thunder. His high-wire act keeps getting better!

Lavesh Meena
Lavesh Meena

Meena’s 2025 track record reads like a highlight reel. He kicked off the year with an incredible five-title blitz in January alone (across Spartan Poker, Junglee Poker). February saw two more wins in Junglee Poker’s LL#10, Sunday Special KO, and Spartan Poker’s Supreme, followed by another in March (Junglee Poker’s Tuesday Phoenix). His NPS India 2025 run was pure volume and persistence – playing 176 events, cashing in 95 for 16.67 Lakhs, and grabbing a Silver Medal in NPS#135 (7-Max) SPRINT along the way.

April has kept the heater alive. He picked up his ninth title of the year last week (Junglee Poker’s Thursday Mini Highroller) and narrowly missed another in PokerBaazi’s Blockbuster (runner-up). This week alone, he took fourth in Adda52’s Tuesday Takedown and second in their Wednesday Head Hunter.

But Thursday was something else. He started the evening by conquering Adda52’s brand-new 7 PM flagship, Thursday Thunder. Firing two bullets into the 229-entry field (124 unique), he claimed the top prize of 1.47 Lakhs – his second title on the platform this year.

Then, deep into the night at 3:22 AM, Meena did it again, this time on PokerBaazi. He navigated a 246-entry field (122 unique) in the Big PLO-5, needing two entries and over 6.5 hours to seal the deal. This victory earned him his first PokerBaazi title of 2025 and added 2.14 Lakhs to his growing fortune.

Toss in three more deep runs, and Meena’s total Thursday take ballooned to nearly 4.32 Lakhs. It’s just another strong reminder that he’s a major contender across all platforms this year. His PokerBaazi scores also gave him a nice bump, landing him at #71 in their 2025 Player of the Year standings.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for 2,13,922

> 1st in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for 1,46,666

> 11th in Junglee Poker’s BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller for 45,172 (29,000 in bounties)

> 26th in Adda52’s Godfather for 18,500

> 85th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for 7,500

Lavesh Meena’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker, PokerStars India and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: 4.70 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 1.38 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #11 (across all platforms) | Moves to #71 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

Never far from the high-stakes action was the definition of consistency, Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru. Finishing #5 in the epic 2024 POY race, his name is practically synonymous with top-tier grinding. Currently perched at #1 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard and holding strong at #4 in the overall 2025 POY chase, Rajguru’s relentless pace from last year hasn’t slowed one bit.

Advait Rajguru
Advait Rajguru

The Bengaluru-based phenom tore through NPS India 2025, bagging three Gold Medals, finishing second on the Karnataka State Leaderboard, and placing #6 overall on the NPS Series Leaderboard (good for an extra 6 Lakhs in prizes).

Rajguru almost added a ninth title for the year in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 last night. He needed three entries to get going in the five-card battle and ultimately landed in the runner-up spot, collecting a handsome 1.76 Lakhs. Four additional deep runs padded his stats, bringing his total earnings across his Thursday session north of 2.17 Lakhs – just another day at the office for one of India’s most dominant and consistent poker talents.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for 1,76,485

> 33rd in Adda52’s Godfather for 16,152

> 25th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for 12,000

> 27th in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for 7,183

> 75th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for 5,376

Advait Rajguru’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: 12.31 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 4.56 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #8 | Annual Winnings: 1.14 Crores | Ranked #4 in the 2025 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes) | Ranked #1 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The Big PLO-5 final table also featured Deepanshu ‘Themanager’ Dureja (3rd for 1.34 Lakhs) and NPC contender from Tamil Nadu, Aditya ‘gangajal’ Gangajal, who also made final tables in the Thursday Thunder and Godfather (5th for 53,480).

As always, the 5,000 buy-in Big PLO-5 demonstrated its appeal, easily smashing its guarantee to build a juicy 10.70 Lakhs prize pool. The top 33 finishers got paid, starting with 9,627 – more than double the buy-in. PokerBaazi seems to have nailed the formula for five-card excitement with this PLO flagship, and the players are clearly loving the action.

Junglee Poker

BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller – ₹10 Lakhs GTD

Buy-in – ₹9,200

Entries – 117

Total Prize Pool – ₹10,00,000

Ranked Prize Pool – ₹5,32,000

Bounty Prize Pool – ₹4,68,000

The action on Day 7 of Junglee Poker’s ₹3.50+ Crores GTD Battle Ground series (April 4–20) showed no signs of slowing, as Thursday night delivered yet another adrenaline-pumping session with three more BG tournaments firing across the site. The spotlight was firmly on the ₹10 Lakhs GTD BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller and Qualifier 11 of the ₹50 Lakhs GTD BG Main Event.

Returning to the forefront in commanding fashion was Mumbai’s seasoned pro Aditya ‘The Paper House’ Kulkarni (opted out of our tracking). Fresh off a Friday Bounty win on Adda52 last week, Kulkarni added another feather to his cap by taking down the BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller in signature style.

Aditya Kulkarni
Aditya Kulkarni

Kulkarni’s 2025 resume has already been impressive. He kicked off the year with a victory in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, followed by a runner-up finish in Pocket Jacks in January. February saw more momentum with wins in Pocket Bullets and PLO-6 Daily. The NPS India 2025 was relatively quiet for him, with only one Bronze Medal in NPS#56 Deepdive.

But Thursday’s win on Junglee Poker might just be his most thrilling yet. Battling through a fiercely competitive 117-entry field in the ₹9,200 buy-in 8:15 PM flagship, Kulkarni showcased masterful composure and killer instinct. After nearly six hours of high-pressure poker, he emerged victorious, banking ₹2.59 Lakhs, including a whopping ₹1.55 Lakhs in bounties—proof of his aggressive and precise gameplay.

But it wasn’t a solo show. The mysterious grinder ‘mightyaj’ gave Kulkarni a real run for his money in a nail-biting heads-up finale, eventually finishing runner-up for a site-best ₹1.50 Lakhs including ₹46,125 in bounties.

Also making his presence felt on the BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller was Sunday Head Hunter podium finisher Raghav ‘misterbean’ Anand, who clinched fourth place for ₹66,173, including ₹11,750 in bounties.

The ₹9,200 buy-in BG#20 Thursday Mini Highroller saw solid participation, though it ended with a minor ₹64,000 overlay on its ₹10 Lakhs guarantee. Still, the event packed a punch, with the top 13 finishers making it to the money, each securing at least ₹12,980 from the ₹5.32 Lakhs cash prize pool.

With an additional ₹4.68 Lakhs up for grabs in the bounty pool, the action was relentless. Every elimination meant another bounty scored, fuelling an adrenaline-charged grind that kept players on their toes deep into the night.

Adda52 isn’t letting up; continuing its full-court press with revamped tournament offerings has had the virtual felt positively humming all week long. Thursday kept that rhythm going, led by the heavyweight ₹20 Lakhs GTD Godfather and the fresh-on-the-scene ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD Thursday Thunder. It’s clear India’s original online poker giant is pulling out all the stops, aiming straight for the top spot currently held by PokerBaazi, even as its integration with Head Digital Works’ A23 Poker continues behind the scenes.

The main attraction, the time-honoured Godfather, drew the spotlight from 8 PM onwards. While the final prize pool didn’t quite stretch to meet the guarantee, the action was thick, with 322 entries generated by 150 players – a real gallery of seasoned Indian poker pros ready to rumble.

But when the final card was dealt and the digital chips settled, Ankit ‘imluckbox’ Bajaj stood alone in the winner’s circle. Continuing a blazing run of form that ignited in March and is still burning bright in April, Bajaj snagged the Godfather title for the second time. This victory sent a hefty ₹3.08 Lakhs flying into his already loaded poker account – his most lucrative score on Adda52 this year and the second-biggest single prize he’s grabbed anywhere in 2025, adding serious firepower to his Player of the Year (POY) campaign!

Bajaj’s current hot streak famously kicked into high gear with that show-stopping mystery bounty snag in Natural8 India’s Mystery Bounty Kick-Off 108. Pulling the lone ₹1 Crore bounty envelope ballooned his winnings from that single event to ₹1.02 Crores, rocketing him into the history books as only the sixth Indian player to bank eight figures from one online tournament. That monumental score instantly vaulted him into the POY top three for 2025 and cemented his #3 finish on the March leaderboard.

And he’s barely paused for breath since. He followed up that career-altering win by collecting his third Gold Medal in PokerBaazi’s NPS#119 Deepdive, fighting to a fifth-place finish in the Adda52 Millions, and conquering Adda52’s Mystery Bounty. Just last week saw him at the Maverick final table, and only a day later, he again landed on the podium in the Mystery Bounty. This latest Godfather win is the latest sparkling addition to what’s undeniably a breakout year for the Gujarat pro, giving his POY climb even more velocity as he looks to chase down the current pacesetters, Tarun Goyal and Anant Purohit.

Dogging Bajaj’s steps to the finish line in Godfather was Abhimanyu ‘PsychoDrama’ Mittal, a proven grinder who was fiercely chasing his fourth title of 2025. This Delhi-based online dynamo has a fearsome track record, including those back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s WTF and The Quest Lite in February, plus an Adda52’s Iron Man title from early March.

Mittal got oh-so-close to adding the missing Godfather title to his stacked poker CV but had to make peace with the runner-up check worth ₹2.93 Lakhs. In what must feel like déjà vu, this was his third second-place finish in this Thursday showdown, echoing similar near-wins last year. Still, despite that particular sting, Mittal crafted a highly successful Thursday, weaving together four deep runs for a day’s takings landing just north of ₹3.12 Lakhs.

> 2nd in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹2,93,287

> 19th in Adda52’s Thursday Thunder for ₹8,354

> 107th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹7,500

> 20th in Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO for ₹2,972

Abhimanyu Mittal’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.25 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹3.39 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3

Predictably, the Godfather final table wasn’t just tough; it was a murderer’s row of accomplished players! This included Sunday’s Big Whale near-winner and three-time Godfather king Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo (4th for ₹1,49,743), last week’s The Summit podium finisher Kovid ‘fzzfzz’ Saraswat (5th for ₹1.10 Lakhs), last night’s Thursday Thunder finalist JaiKiran ‘jeditriv’ Kumar (7th for ₹58,973), and the NPC finalist from Tamil Nadu, WSOP bracelet winner Aditya ‘a_sushant’ Sushant, who also made the final tables of Thursday Thunder and Big PLO-5 (8th for ₹43,227).

Even with the fireworks at the final table, the ₹5,750 buy-in Godfather ended up with a steep ₹3.90 Lakhs overlay. This continues a recent trend of shortfalls on Adda52, but the upside for players was undeniable. The top 47 finishers multiplied their investment, walking away with at least ₹14,103—over two-and-a-half times the entry cost. All told it was another night delivering high-octane poker action and sweet value on India’s most enduring online poker stage.
