Thursday laid out a busy MTT schedule, with the day’s flagships and Adda52’s DOPT series keeping the regs busy. The micro and low stakes players had the PokerBaazi Bankroll Builder Series (PBBS) for action.

One of the September The Millionaire runner-up finishers, Pravin Garle, topped the Thursday charts after spinning up a ₹600 satellite entry into a whopping ₹7.80 Lakhs payday in Adda52’s DOPT Thursday Feature.

PokerBaazi user ‘Ikka5’ championed The Summit for a site-best ₹4.16 Lakhs beating the Game Changer 1.0 winner Prashanth Sekar (2nd for ₹2.92 Lakhs) heads-up.

The former The Millionaire winner Ayush Garg came out on top in Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday to win ₹2.49 Lakhs, and he cut a four-way deal with Dhaval Bagaria (2nd for ₹2.41 Lakhs), ‘bluechipp’ (3rd for ₹2.34 Lakhs), and Debayan Das (4th for ₹2.11 Lakhs).

PokerStars India’s “Star of the Month” – March 2021 Harsh Dembla was the last player standing in the site’s Highroller last night and won ₹1,91,750. Sreekanth Narayan banked a better ₹1,92,016, courtesy of a heads-up deal.

The DOPT Wednesday Feature champion Siddhanth Kripalani kept the winning momentum for a second consecutive day as he took down Spartan Poker’s Deepstack title for ₹85,413. He also placed fifth in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹1.04 Lakhs, making away with ₹1.90 Lakhs cumulatively.

Aayush Arya bagged two titles last night for a ₹1.36 Lakhs bankroll boost. He took down Adda52’s DOPT Jaqk for ₹85,575 and PokerBaazi’s Holdem Boost for 50,474.

Dhaval Doshi, Vijendra Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Mohit Kumar Singh, Aditya Kulkarni, Bhavyajeet Singh Rathore, Karan Malhotra, Akansha Sehgal, and Mohsin Shaikh bagged the other marquee titles.

After over eight hours of play, The former The Millionaire winner Ayush ‘Tabono’ Garg walked away with the title for ₹2.49 Lakhs and was part of a four-way deal involving Dhaval ‘KINGofWISDOM’ Bagaria (2nd for ₹2.41 Lakhs), ‘bluechipp’ (3rd for ₹2.34 Lakhs), and Debayan ‘MonsterD’ Das (4th for ₹2.11 Lakhs).

Thursday was one of the most eventful days at Adda52’s DOPT, with eight events running, including Day 1A of the DOPT Main Event.

The biggest guaranteed event to play down to a winner on Adda52 yesterday, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD DOPT Thursday Feature, saw 517 participants joining the action, resulting in a glaring ₹2.86 Lakhs overlay shortfall. The top 55 spots got paid, and Pravin ‘spanks’ Garle was named the champion. The former The Millionaire runner-up finisher spun up a ₹600 satellite ticket into the hefty ₹7.80 Lakhs paycheque after he beat out ‘Oshuri‘ (2nd for ₹4.42 Lakhs) in heads-up play.

The series’ showstopper, the ₹1.50 Crore GTD DOPT Main Event, also got underway last evening, with the first of its six starting flights registering a 230-player field. After the stipulated 29 levels of play on Day 1A, only 30 players bagged a stack for Day 2. Divanshu ‘1diot’ Khurana (367,394) topped the day-end chip counts, with ‘ktr1973 (318,455), last night’s Deepstack winner Siddhanth ‘Sidstack’ Kripalani (262,190), Prashant ‘softyvanilla77’ Verma (249,787), and Akansha ‘akanshasehgal’ Sehgal (173,986), filling in the top five names on the survivor’s list.
