2024 is sprinting towards the finish line, but the poker world is still in overdrive. From the sunny beaches of the WSOP Paradise to the vibrant card rooms of EPT Prague and the WPT Championship Las Vegas, the live tournament scene is as vibrant as ever. And for those who prefer the cosy confines of our homes, the online action is just as thrilling.
But there’s another battle unfolding that has the entire nation captivated. Gukesh D, the chess prodigy who seems to defy age, is in a deadlock with reigning champion Ding Liren at the World Chess Championship in Singapore. Will this 18-year-old sensation make history and become the youngest world chess champion ever? The final match tomorrow holds the answer.
Speaking of champions, PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online crowned five winners on Wednesday, including a player who achieved a remarkable feat – becoming the first repeat champion in this series! With guarantees shattered across the board, it was another day of intense action on the virtual felts. Over at Natural8 India, a seasoned veteran once again proved that experience is king, while the usual Wednesday flagships on Adda52 and Pocket52 provided plenty of excitement for mid-week grinders.
And for those who crave the rush of cash games, MPL Poker is offering incredible value with its Cash Bash promotions and daily & weekly leaderboards. With a massive ₹10 Crores in winnings up for grabs, along with up to 70% rakeback and cash prizes ranging from ₹20 to a staggering ₹7 Lakhs, there’s something for everyone!
Now, let’s dive into Wednesday’s action, where Priyank Kothari pulled off a comeback for the ages to become the day’s top performer. This inaugural EndBoss finalist and former PMVS Main Event champion, who had stepped back from the MTT grind in 2023 and had some early success this year, made a roaring comeback for PokerBaazi’s WPT India Online series after a six-week break. After seven cashes in the first three days, he finally hit the bullseye in the WPT#20 Superstack last night, earning a massive ₹8.09 Lakhs—his biggest score of the year and second-best overall. He didn’t stop there though! With an additional deep run, Kothari’s Wednesday winnings reached a whopping ₹8.39 Lakhs, making him the day’s undisputed champion.
Trailing closely behind was the formidable ‘Tiltplay,’ who had previously reached the podium in Sunday’s WPT#4 Milestone. He claimed the runner-up spot in the Superstack, adding ₹4.92 Lakhs to his bankroll. Adding two more deep runs to his tally, his total Wednesday winnings topped ₹5.01 Lakhs, catapulting him to #3 on the WPT India Online Leaderboard. Kashish Gupta, the previous night’s WPT#14 Mini Championship podium finisher, also delivered another strong performance, finishing third in the Superstack for ₹3.72 Lakhs and accumulating over ₹3.76 Lakhs from two deep runs.
Varun Sareen was another player who had a Wednesday to remember. This high-roller specialist and back-to-back The MoneyMaker champion added another high roller crown to his name, winning PokerBaazi’s WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller for ₹7.15 Lakhs. The best part? He entered the event through a ₹1,725 satellite, scoring an incredible 414 times return on his investment. Devbrat Rout, aiming to end a long 2.5-year title drought, came close but finished as the runner-up, taking home a career-best ₹5.18 Lakhs—more than double his previous top score and enough to bring him back into online profitability.
Young Gun Gaurav Sood, a three-time POY, added another achievement to his already illustrious career by winning PokerBaazi’s WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo for ₹3.75 Lakhs. This was his third WPT Online title overall and his second in as many days, following his triumph in the WPTO#11 Megastack on Tuesday. With four additional deep runs, Sood’s Wednesday winnings topped ₹4.16 Lakhs, pushing him to #7 on the WPT India Online Leaderboard. Tanmay Benara finished second in the Hyper Turbo, earning ₹2.50 Lakhs. With four more deep runs, he raked in over ₹3.56 Lakhs.
Debapriya Manna, known for his big wins in 2022, ended a 6.5-month title drought by taking the top spot in PokerBaazi’s WPT#17 Megastack. He earned his first-ever WPT Online title and ₹3.38 Lakhs—his second-largest score this year. The MoneyMaker 30.0 champion ‘smr1g10,‘ a recent Spartan Poker’s Supreme runner-up, came in second for ₹2.03 Lakhs and racked up almost ₹2.17 Lakhs from four deep runs.
Surbhit Grover, The MoneyMaker 90.0 champion coming off a hattrick of wins last week, kept his heater going by winning Pocket52`s Pocket Rockets for a platform-best ₹1.77 Lakhs. His momentum was undeniable as he almost made a clean sweep on Pocket52, finishing runner-up in the (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo and storming the final table in Adda52’s Bounty Madness, pushing his total winnings to ₹2.80 Lakhs across six deep runs. Newcomer ‘goldcoast’ made an incredible debut, finishing as the runner-up in the Pocket Rockets for ₹1.24 Lakhs in their very first tournament on the platform!
Back on PokerBaazi, site veteran ‘pyaar,’ fresh off winning the Daily Last Chance last week, took down the WPT#16 (6-Max) Turbo for a personal-best ₹2.46 Lakhs and accumulated over ₹2.59 Lakhs across three deep runs.
On Natural8 India, Anant Purohit added another deep run to his incredible year, finishing 20th in the Bounty Hunters HR Deepstack 525 and earning ₹2.26 Lakhs. Combined with another deep run in PokerBaazi’s WPT#17 Megastack, he raked in ₹2.30 Lakhs for the day. With ₹5.10 Crores in annual earnings, including ₹3.95 Crores on Natural8 India alone, Purohit now sits at #4 in the POY standings, narrowing the gap with Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram, the current #3 contender, just ₹41 Lakhs ahead.
Over on Adda52, Anmol Narang, former The Millionaire champion, continued his streak of success by winning the Maverick for the first time, earning ₹2.07 Lakhs through a heads-up deal. This was his third-best score on the platform and fifth-best overall this year. Platform grinder ‘anjali_129,’ last Saturday’s MMA Monster Stack winner, finished second for a site-best ₹1.89 Lakhs from the deal, recovering nearly two-thirds of their past losses in one go!
The day featured impressive performances from notables such as Piyush Nanda, Natansh Basandra, Parth Shah, Jaikishan Jangid, and Nishant Chowdhury, each taking down their respective Wednesday marquee events!
Here are the Wednesday highlights!

PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online is turning the end of the year into an all-out poker party! This amazing series, a team-up between WPT and India’s leading online poker platform, has been a non-stop thrill ride, and Wednesday definitely kept the momentum going. The mid-week action was electric, with five tournaments boasting a combined ₹1.40 Crores in guarantees!
While the ₹40 Lakhs GTD WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller stole the show at 7:30 PM, the action didn’t stop there. Just 90 minutes later, at 9 PM, the ₹40 Lakhs GTD WPT#20 Superstack kicked off, drawing a staggering 1,241 entries (591 unique) and crushing its guarantee.
One name that stood out from the crowd was Priyank ‘Piko1432’ Kothari. This inaugural EndBoss finalist and former PMVS Main Event champ had been noticeably absent from the MTT grind in 2023, but he came back swinging in early 2024 with a few titles on Adda52 and some final table appearances. But a truly big win had eluded him – until last night, that is!
After a good six-week break, Kothari returned to the WPT India Online series with a fire in his belly, making deep runs in seven events. It was like he was building towards something huge, and that something huge was the WPT#20 Superstack. Over eight hours and 25 minutes, he battled his way through a tough crowd that had already blown past the ₹40 Lakhs guarantee, creating a whopping ₹53.96 Lakhs prize pool.
Finally, Kothari seized his first WPT Online title and a scorching ₹8.09 Lakhs payday – his biggest score of the year and second-best overall. Add to that a 39th place finish in the WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller for another ₹29,499, and Kothari walked away with a total of about ₹8.39 Lakhs, launching him to 15th place on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard. Kothari reigned supreme as Wednesday’s top performer!
Priyank Kothari’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.62 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹66.97 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #3 | Annual Winnings: ₹29.28 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹11.32 Lakhs | Moves to #15 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard
While Kothari was basking in his long-awaited triumph, another name was making waves. The formidable ‘Tiltplay’ (anonymity requested) has been no stranger to prestigious finishes—think back to the NPS India 2023 Golden Rush and the #5 The MoneyMaker title. ‘Tiltplay’ narrowly missed a WPT Online title with a podium finish in Sunday’s WPT#4 Milestone, but they came even closer last night.
After firing two bullets in the WPT#20 Superstack, ‘Tiltplay’ finished as the runner-up, adding ₹4.92 Lakhs to their bankroll. Combine that with two other deep runs, and their Wednesday winnings soared to over ₹5.01 Lakhs! This incredible performance launched ‘Tiltplay’ to #3 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard, putting them in a fantastic position for continued success.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#20 Superstack for ₹4,91,564
> 50th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#16 (6-Max) Turbo for ₹6,230
> 129th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#17 Megastack for ₹3,600
Kashish ‘BeeTa03’ Gupta (opted out of our tracking) is another player who’s been crushing it. Just the day before, he had grabbed third place in PokerBaazi’s WPT#14 Mini Championship and sixth place in Pocket52’s Pocket Bullets. Gupta replicated his third-place success in the WPT#20 Superstack, adding ₹3.72 Lakhs to his bankroll. He further padded his winnings with a 59th place finish in the WPT#16 (6-Max) Turbo for ₹4,100, bringing his total for the day to over ₹3.76 Lakh. This strong performance keeps him firmly in the running at #17 on the WPT India Online Leaderboard, where he remains a persistent force.
The WPT#20 Superstack final table didn’t lack other recognizable names, either. Sunday’s Ignite champion, Bharat ‘Thinkfloyd’ Vasan, placed seventh for ₹1.32 Lakhs, and WPT#1 Deepstack Opener runner-up Arush ‘arush20000’ Pratap came in eighth for ₹98,205.
The WPT#20 Superstack had initially promised ₹40 Lakhs in prize money, but it awarded a whopping ₹53.96 Lakhs among the top 184 finishers. Every player who cashed earned at least ₹8,633, a 1.7x return on their ₹5,000 buy-in, keeping the WPT India Online series fire burning bright!

It’s been an absolutely electric start to the week on PokerBaazi, fueled by the adrenaline-pumping action of the ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online. And there has been no letting up in action. Day 4 saw five thrilling events unfold, serving up a combined ₹1.40 Crores in guaranteed prizes. But amidst the chaos, one player was quietly making his move: Varun ‘Sareenv17021959’ Sareen.
Now, Sareen isn’t some random player who got lucky. This guy has a serious track record. He’s only the second player to win The MoneyMaker back-to-back and the fourth to win it twice, period. He’s also crushed high-roller events like the NPS India 2024 Super HighRoller and the India Poker Masters (PLO-6) HighRoller. Basically, he’s a High Roller beast.
Wednesday night was Sareen’s night. He took down the ₹40 Lakhs GTD WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller, one of the biggest PLO events on the entire WPT India Online schedule.
Picture this: 114 PLO sharks, 257 total entries, all gunning for the 7:30 PM headliner title. After an intense 8 hours and 20 minutes of play, Sareen emerged from the wreckage with his first WPT Online title and a massive ₹7.15 Lakhs payday. This put him just behind Priyank Kothari, who championed the WPT#20 Superstack, in the day’s rankings.
But here’s the kicker: Sareen didn’t even buy in directly to this ₹20,000 buy-in event. He satellited in through a ₹1,725 qualifier! That’s right; he turned a tiny investment into an absolute fortune, over 414 times his initial buy-in!
Sareen’s rise in the poker world has been nothing short of incredible. In just 17 months, he’s gone from a relative unknown to a dominant force. Get this: 98% of his total winnings on PokerBaazi have come this year alone. This latest win is his sixth title of 2024 and his fifth-biggest score. And all his top ten online scores have come this year too!
Varun Sareen’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹89.83 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹67.47 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #6 | Annual Winnings: ₹88.76 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹64.40 Lakhs
But it wasn’t an easy victory. Devbrat ‘GarethBale’ Rout, known for his sporadic yet powerful performances, was determined to end a long 2.5-year title drought. The heads-up battle between Sareen and Rout was epic, but in the end, Sareen denied Rout the long-overdue win. However, Rout still walked away with a career-best ₹5.18 Lakhs – more than double his previous best score, pushing him back into online profitability!
Devbrat Rout’s online stats (PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹34.30 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹89,823
The WPT#19 (PLO-4) Highroller final table was a constellation of poker stars, including the legendary first-ever IOPC The Crown champion Harshit ‘Harshit114’ Sanghi (3rd for ₹4.14 Lakhs), ‘dilbaghsingh’ (anonymity requested) (4th for ₹3.13 Lakhs), Goa-based crusher Myron ‘priyankAAchoprAA’ Pereira (5th for ₹2.23 Lakhs), lawyer-turned-poker pro Armaan ‘TheHoodedClaw’ Kochhar (6th for ₹1.79 Lakhs), POY #13 JaiKiran ‘testify’ Kumar (7th for ₹1.50 Lakhs), and mid-stakes beast currently ranked #2 on the annual TLB leaderboard Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur (8th for ₹1.22 Lakhs).
With a buy-in of ₹20,000, WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller more than delivered, smashing its guarantee with a prize pool that exploded to ₹44.69 Lakhs. The top 49 players shared the wealth, with even a min-cash awarding a respectable ₹29,499. This event truly captured the thrill and high-stakes action that WPT India Online is all about, proving that the series offers something for everyone, including PLO enthusiasts!

They say form is temporary, but class is permanent. And when it comes to class in the Indian online poker scene, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gau17’ Sood stands head and shoulders above the rest. This Gurugram prodigy is a legend in every sense of the word. A trained dentist who turned to poker, he’s undoubtedly India’s biggest poker success story. A self-taught phenomenon, Sood is a generational talent the likes of which we haven’t seen before, with three Player of the Year titles to his name.
Despite his illustrious online MTT credentials, Sood hasn’t been playing with the same volume or intensity as in the past. Regular travel breaks for live poker trips and shoots like PokerBaazi’s “The Circuit,” and his absence from Natural8 India have seemingly hampered his chances at a record-extending fourth POY crown. But for a player who has already achieved so much in such a short span, it probably doesn’t keep him up at night.
And now, he’s reminded everyone there’s no stopping him when he sets his mind to it. Fresh off his victory in the WPT#11 Megastack the night before, Sood stormed back to claim the title in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo. This win not only makes him the first player to win two WPT Online events in the ongoing series but also marks his tenth victory of the year on the platform and his 21st overall in 2024. This incredible feat has catapulted him to #7 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online leaderboard.
The 6:30 PM Hyper Turbo was a lightning-fast showdown that saw 717 hopefuls (341 unique) battling it out in a supercharged slugfest. Fortunes shifted drastically, and epic comebacks were the norm in this quick-paced, gripping battle that lasted just over four hours. Sood, a recent Spartan Poker Tuesday Twister runner-up, proved his mastery of the fast-paced format, taking home a handsome ₹3.75 Lakhs and his third-ever WPT Online title.
But the former NPS#92 HighRoller gold medalist and 1000X#30 (7-Max) Friday Prime champion wasn’t done yet. Sood went on to cash in four additional tournaments last night, racking up over ₹4.16 Lakhs in total winnings.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo for ₹3,75,000
> 43rd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller for ₹29,499
> 24th in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹9,294
> 104th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#20 Superstack for ₹8,633
> 157th in PokerBaazi`s WPT#16 (6-Max) Turbo for ₹2,623
Gaurav Sood’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹22.33 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.45 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #21 | Annual Winnings: ₹2.66 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹1.12 Crores | Ranked #20 in the 2024 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes) | Moves to #7 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard
Meanwhile, Agra’s poker machine Tanmay ‘truman’ Benara, with titles like the NPS#90 Value Mine Gold and Millionaire VII under his belt, was looking to break a six-week dry spell since taking down the BSS SuperStack on October 27. Benara came agonizingly close to winning the WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo but had to settle for a second-place finish and a cool ₹2.50 Lakhs after firing three bullets. Undeterred, he added four more deep runs to his profitable Wednesday grind, bringing his total winnings for the night to over ₹3.56 Lakhs.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo for ₹2,50,000
> 15th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#19 (PLO-4) HighRoller for ₹71,065
> 48th in PokerBaazi’s GTD WPT#20 Superstack for ₹20,504
> 38th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#17 Megastack for ₹8,107
Tanmay Benara’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹8.40 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.86 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #12
Other notable finalists in the WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo included Ridhav ‘Rids’ Chawla (3rd for ₹1.85 Lakhs) and M ‘Bluffmaster055’ Jimmy (5th for ₹1,18,750).
With a ₹3.18 Lakhs overlay, the ₹3,500 buy-in WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper Turbo offered incredible value to the players. The top 108 made it into the money, each taking home at least ₹7,500—doubling their investment and adding another successful chapter to the ongoing WPT India Online saga.

Debapriya ‘detulelungikhul’ Manna has a reputation for making big splashes. His resume boasts a runner-up finish in Adda52’s BigMillions and victories in PokerBaazi’s 2022 APT India Online Series Main Event and Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire, all back in 2022. He even took down PokerBaazi’s WTF this past May. But since then, a major win had been proving elusive.
Manna didn’t disappear from the scene entirely, but the wins dried up. He still managed deep runs and at least five final-table appearances, but that coveted first-place finish remained frustratingly out of reach. It was as if his magic touch had vanished.
Last night, however, the spell was broken. Manna entered PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD WPT#17 Megastack with a burning desire to reclaim his place at the top. Facing a daunting field of 1,295 entries (700 unique), he fired two bullets in the 5:30 PM flagship event. What ensued was a gruelling eight hours and 52 minutes of intense poker action. He had to dissect his opponents’ strategies, make bold moves, and navigate every stage with the utmost precision. Ultimately, he did it, claiming his first-ever WPT Online title and a hefty ₹3.38 Lakhs. This win wasn’t just his second-biggest score of 2024; it was a resounding declaration that Debapriya Manna was back in top form after a 6.5-month hiatus from the winner’s circle.
Debapriya Manna’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.35 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹64.03 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #3 | Annual Winnings: ₹73.50 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹14.86 Lakhs
Manna wasn’t the only one with a compelling story last night. The MoneyMaker 30.0 champion ‘smr1g10’ (anonymity requested) came into the event with serious momentum. They had just finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s Supreme on Tuesday and were hungry for their second title of December. But their story goes deeper than that. ‘smr1g10’ had a history with WPT Online events – six final table finishes, including two runner-up spots going all the way back to August 2021 (on Adda52). This was their chance to break the cycle and finally claim a long-awaited WPT Online title.
They battled fiercely through the Megastack field, reaching the final stages with a determination to rewrite their WPT Online story. But as the final hand played out, history seemed to repeat itself. ‘smr1g10’ once again finished as the runner-up, taking home ₹2.03 Lakhs – still their second-biggest score of the year and sixth-biggest overall. Adding in three more in-the-money finishes, their Wednesday winnings swelled to almost ₹2.17 Lakhs.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#17 Megastack for ₹2,02,680
> 36th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#16 (6-Max) Turbo for ₹6,229
> 7th in Spartan Poker’s Monster Turbo for ₹5,600
> 8th in Spartan Poker’s Holdem for ₹2,200
The WPT#17 Megastack final table also featured known regs like Ankush ‘ank4u’ Narang (3rd for ₹1.52 Lakhs), POY#12 Sashank ‘TheTamizhDurrr’ Chakravarthy (4th for ₹1.15 Lakhs), Abhineet ‘abbubro’ Singla (5th for ₹90,080), and Milan ‘milanbiwas’ Biswas (7th for ₹53,598).
The WPT#17 Megastack itself was a runaway success. The ₹2,000-buy-in event smashed its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee, generating a ₹22.52 Lakhs prize pool. A total of 196 players cashed, each taking home at least ₹3,603—almost double their initial buy-in, contributing to the ongoing success story of the WPT India Online series.

The mid-week action on Adda52 was red-hot this Wednesday, and right in the middle of the inferno, you could find Anmol ‘ace10’ Narang, a player who needs no introduction. This former The Millionaire champion and the face of those catchy Junglee Poker ads was on fire. He just added another prestigious title to his collection, conquering the ₹12.50 Lakhs GTD Maverick and grabbing a cool ₹2.07 Lakhs after a heads-up deal!
It seems like Narang has found the winning groove. Back in September, he was on a tear, racking up wins in PokerBaazi’s 1000X#6 and Daily Super Value like it was nothing. He then went through a bit of a dry spell, with some deep runs and near misses but no victories. But that all changed last Thursday when he finally broke through with a win in the Summit Lite, ending a two-and-a-half-month title drought. Less than a week later, he’s added a fifth shiny trophy to his case with his first-ever Maverick victory.
Narang isn’t a complete stranger to the Maverick. He’d already made two final tables and even grabbed a podium finish in the event earlier this year. But this time, he was determined to go all the way, and boy, did he deliver!
The 8 PM flagship drew a tough crowd of 404 entries (198 unique) – with some of the biggest names in Indian poker all vying for the top spot. For over eight hours, the battle raged on. Bluffs were called, fortunes shifted, and the tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. But when the smoke cleared, Narang emerged as the champion, claiming the top prize and boosting his 2024 winnings – this score now ranks as his third-best on Adda52 and fifth-best overall this year.
Anmol Narang’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.38 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹54.59 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #5
But the Maverick wasn’t just the Anmol Narang show. ‘anjali_129,‘ a grinder who’s been a fixture on Adda52 since March 2018, also put on a clinic. Fresh off a victory in the MMA Monster Stack last Saturday, they were hungry for another title. They fought tooth and nail but, in the end, fell just short of the win. Still, their second-place finish earned them a site-best ₹1.89 Lakhs from the deal, enough to erase nearly two-thirds of their past losses in a single tournament!
anjali_129’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹9.81 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #2
The Maverick final table was packed with heavy hitters, including recent Sunday Head Hunter podium finisher Hitesh ‘buntai’ Batra (4th for ₹89,944), last week’s The Pride Lite finalist, the formidable Debneil ‘noobneil’ Mukherjee (6th for ₹48,325), and recent Blockbuster Highroller finalist Young Gun Arsh ‘bigggtymer’ Grover (8th for ₹25,964).
Despite the star power, the ₹3,350 buy-in Maverick overlaid for ₹78,400, turning it into a goldmine for the players. The top 62 finishers walked away with at least ₹6,740, more than doubling their investment. All said it was another night of incredible value and high-octane action on Adda52.

After his incredible hat trick last week, which included wins in Adda52’s Maverick and PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, he’s back to his winning ways. This time, he turned his attention to Pocket52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Rockets, and, well, let’s just say he didn’t disappoint.
In a performance that can only be described as masterful, Grover battled for 7.5 hours against a field of 149 players (272 entries). This wasn’t just any win; it was his first-ever victory on Pocket52. After firing two bullets in the 8 PM showdown, he emerged victorious, claiming a platform-best ₹1.77 Lakhs payday and etching his name in the Pocket52 winner’s circle.
But Grover, it seems, has an insatiable appetite for victory. He nearly pulled off a clean sweep of Pocket52’s marquees, finishing runner-up in the (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo for another ₹77,500. And just for good measure, he also stormed the final table of Adda52’s Bounty Madness and cashed in three other tournaments, bringing his Wednesday winnings to an admirable ₹2.80 Lakhs!
> 1st in Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets for ₹1,76,720* (site-best)

> 5th in Adda52’s Bounty Madness for ₹11,767

While Grover was undoubtedly the star of the show, we can’t overlook the incredible performance of ‘goldcoast.‘ This player, making their debut on Pocket52, almost pulled off a massive upset. They came within a whisker of winning it all, ultimately finishing runner-up for ₹1.24 Lakhs—an incredible start to their Pocket52 journey.
goldcoast’s Pocket52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹1.24 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹1.13 Lakhs
The Pocket Rockets final table was jam-packed with heavy-hitters like poker veteran Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani (3rd for ₹79,760), streamers Animesh ‘animeshth20’ Thakur (4th for ₹59,040) and Aniruddha ‘Pocketaces_’ Joshi (5th for ₹44,320) and last night’s Bounty Adda champion Nishant ‘robotiam’ Chowdhury (7th for ₹23,600).
Despite a slight overlay of ₹19,360, the ₹2,750 buy-in Pocket Rockets ensured that the top 20 finishers got a piece of the ₹8 Lakhs prize pool. Each player who cashed earned at least ₹7,920 – nearly three times their buy-in! With value like that, it’s no surprise that Pocket52 is quickly becoming a favourite among serious poker players.
