It was a high-octane Friday with three high roller tourneys running simultaneously across different sites. PokerGuru Ambassadors continuing their domination on the virtual felts, bagged an incredible three titles.

Even the inaugural WPT Online India series booked another guarantee-smashing day, registering 3,201 entries across nine side events, disbursing a massive ₹75.67 Lakhs in prize money.

Let’s take a quick look at the day`s featured tourneys.

Spartan Poker

The day`s biggest guaranteed tourney at Spartan Poker, the ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Elite, clocked in 324 entries (149 unique, 67 re-entries, and 108 rebuys) to leave an overlay of ₹2.60 Lakhs, and the top 31 places got paid. Coming out on top to win the tourney for the second time in three weeks was PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul ‘Super King’s Raj. The former Millionaire champion has been in phenomenal form on Spartan Poker, and last night he chopped the top prize with Anant ‘Pro’ Purohit (runner-up for ₹5.88 Lakhs) to add ₹6.49 Lakhs to his bankroll.

Gokul Raj

Raj has a shining resume on Spartan Poker that includes winning The Elite an impressive four times already. He had previously won this tourney on October 23. It is also the second consecutive day that Raj has won a flagship title on the site. He had championed the Ultron on Thursday for 3.60 Lakhs, and last night`s score has sent his online tally soaring to 3.86 Crores.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh (5th for 2.25 Lakhs), Sanat ‘avneed’ Mehrotra (6th for 1.71 Lakhs), Vaibhav ‘Nikka Zaildar’ Sharma (7th for 1.24 Lakhs), and Guruprasad ‘DONKAKING’ Gupta (8th for 91,350) were others who FT-ed The Elite.

PokerStars India`s weekly ₹7,700 entry buy-in ₹12 Lakhs GTD Highroller brought together 142 poker regs to leave an overlay of ₹2.06 Lakhs, and the top 23 finishers walked past the money line. Dominating them all was PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja, who padded his burgeoning bankroll by ₹2.49 Lakhs after defeating ‘GudThimma’ (runner-up for ₹1.88 Lakhs) in the heads-up finale. This is Ahuja’s second time winning the Friday Highroller title on PokerStars India.
