Another bumper Friday is now in the rear-view mirror. Keeping the MTT players busy was Day 1C of PokerBaazi’s Game Changer 4.0, PokerStars India’s INCOOP alongside the Friday flagships at Spartan Poker, Adda52, and Pocket52.
Let`s take a look at the biggest mover`s and shaker`s from Friday.
Friday marked the start of the flagship UVS tourney, the ₹35 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Lite. Day 1A of the three-flight tourney logged in 561 entries, and only 66 players survived the onslaught. ‘Sumimohi2’ (272,463), ‘rejamkid’ (238,250) and ‘D. Carwin1’ (199,101) bagged the top three stacks of the day.
The other headliner, the ₹11,000 entry buy-in ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Elite, sold 364 entry slips to collect a guarantee-smashing ₹36.40 Lakhs prize pool, and the top 31 places got paid. The mystery user ‘NoConnection’ championed the tourney to win ₹7.69 Lakhs after besting ‘HerMess’ (runner-up for ₹5.18 Lakhs) in heads-up play!
On Friday, the biggest crowd-puller turned out to be the ₹12 Lakhs GTD TGIF, but even a crowded 729-entry field couldn’t avoid an overlay worth ₹1.06 Lakhs in the tourney. Jyoti ‘joey114114’ Ranjan Nayak outlasted the competition to win ₹1.51 Lakhs after striking a four-way deal with former SSS Millionaire champion Saurabh ‘darksider’ Rohila (runner-up for ₹1.40 Lakhs), Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma RS (3rd for ₹1.40 Lakhs), and ‘ZaRosh’ (4th for ₹1.33 Lakhs).
PokerBaazi`s ₹2 Crores GTD Game Changer ran Day 1C last night, where 846 entrants ponied up the ₹5,500 entry buy-in, and 114 players made it through to Day 2. Bagging the end of day chip lead was none other than Advait ‘Ronaldinho18’ Rajguru (350,000) with ‘SENTHIL76’ (344,000) and Pulkit ‘Ifoldfullhouses’ Goyal (305,000) rounding out the top three stacks of the day.
The event features four starting days and requires 4,000 entries to break even on its whopping ₹2 Crores prize pool guarantee. With 2,515 entries after the first three starting flights, there will likely be some juicy overlay value in the tourney.
The Friday night special at Adda52, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD The Ballers, witnessed 315 sign-ups to leave an overlay of ₹3.42 Lakhs. Outlasting them all was Rudramani ‘rud1478’ Pokhrel, who banked the up-top cash prize worth ₹5.02 Lakhs following a heads-up chop with Vinay ‘vinay0902’ Rajpal (runner-up for ₹5.01 Lakhs). Incidentally, Rajpal’s top seven MTT scores have all come through runner-up finishes!

PokerStars India`s Friday flagship ₹15 Lakhs GTD INSCOOP – 168 Uppercut clocked in 312 entries to leave an overlay of ₹2.52 Lakhs, and the top 59 places got paid. After almost seven hours of grueling action, former Spartan Poker Millionaire champion Ayush ‘Kyanaamrakhu’ Garg cut a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘B00MTilt23’ Pal Singh (runner-up for ₹1.86 Lakhs) to win ₹2.71 Lakhs and the title.
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale Mini was championed by an unknown user ‘gangnam_gangi’ for ₹86,225 following a heads-up deal with ‘noviceanari’ (runner-up for ₹77,151).
Pocket52`s ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Pocket Kings attracted 276 runners who ponied up the ₹2,200 entry buy-in to leave a significant 1.50 Lakhs shortfall. Claiming the title for the second consecutive week was upcoming talent Himanshu ‘hdwivedi3’ Dwivedi, who pocketed ₹1.50 Lakhs after defeating ‘goldencroc’ (runner-up for ₹1.12 Lakhs) heads-up.
