While Thursday delivered plenty of heat online, all eyes were on Goa, where a major chapter in Indian poker history was written. The buzz was immense as the country’s top talents gathered for the grand finale of the National Poker Champion (NPC) showdown – a fantastic finish to the record-setting NPS India 2025!
This wasn’t just any tournament. The NPC showdown was the high-stakes finish line of a weeks-long journey, pitting 12 state champions against each other in a unique match-play format. Hosted at the Novotel Resort & Spa in Goa, the event played out over three tense days and six tough matches. On Thursday, the final six faced off for the ultimate prize, with the spotlight shining brightly on 26-year-old Mohit Bohra from Gujarat!
In a finale streamed live on JioHotstar (with real-time updates from PokerGuru), Bohra delivered a composed and commanding performance to win the sought-after NPC title. His victory brought not only the gleaming trophy but a jaw-dropping ₹1 Crore payday – officially writing his name into the Indian poker record books as the first National Poker Champion!
But Bohra’s win had wider implications. His victory also triggered a special ₹1 Crore NPC State Freeroll for players from Gujarat who participated in NPS India 2025. Set for April 26, this freeroll gives Gujarat’s poker community a massive reason to celebrate their new champion.
The NPC spotlight definitely drew attention away from the online tables. With the community watching the Goa finale, Thursday’s virtual grind saw lighter-than-usual fields for the second day running, creating an ideal setup for opportunistic players. Overlays appeared across several major events!
That didn’t mean the online action was slow. Several series kept the action going: PokerDangal’s ₹60 Lakhs GTD Dangal Value Series moved closer to its final stretch, Junglee Poker’s Battle Ground series lineup offered more knockout action, and Adda52’s updated MTT schedule—including the second starting flight of the ₹1 Crore GTD Burstfire—gave players plenty of reasons to stay locked in.
Amidst all this, Kunal Kain stepped up as the hero of the day. The Delhi-based player delivered a breakout performance in PokerBaazi’s The Summit, winning the title for a career-best ₹7.50 Lakhs. Coming off a personal-best third-place finish in The Endeavour just two days earlier, Kain clearly used that momentum, winning his fourth flagship title on the platform and ninth title of the year — his third this month alone! Kain added three more cashes on the platform, boosting his Thursday earnings to nearly ₹7.64 Lakhs and landing him atop the day’s online charts. Rajvardhan Kavi almost stole the show, continuing his great form from an NPS Gold Medal win last month, finishing second for ₹5.17 Lakhs — his second-best online score ever.
Arpan Majhi signalled his return to top form on PokerBaazi with a strong performance in the Summit Lite, where a heads-up deal earned him ₹1.61 Lakhs and his fourth title of 2025. The former The MoneyMaker champion nearly made it an incredible double-win night with a superb run in The Summit, finishing third for ₹3.85 Lakhs (his biggest score of the year). Majhi banked over ₹5.46 Lakhs across both impressive results, finishing second on the day`s top earners list. Joining him in the spotlight was Jaikishan Jangid, who grabbed ₹1.71 Lakhs in the Summit Lite deal for his runner-up finish, adding to a growing list of strong finishes in 2025. With two additional cashes, Jangid finished his Thursday with over ₹1.75 Lakhs in total winnings.
Over at Adda52, Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra showed everyone why he’s one of the steadiest performers on the platform, capturing the Godfather title for an amazing sixth time and collecting ₹3.75 Lakhs—his third-best score on the site this year. The Gurgaon-based IIT-IIM alum added two more cashes on PokerBaazi; his combined Thursday results totalled nearly ₹4.14 Lakhs. Chasing him all the way was Pranay Chawla, who came painfully close to his first title of the year after several close calls. His runner-up finish in the Godfather earned him a personal-best ₹2.75 Lakhs on Adda52, continuing his recent string of deep runs.
Vinay Rajpal put together a strong performance on PokerBaazi, taking down the Big PLO-5 for ₹2.09 Lakhs—his second title of the year on the platform. Still carrying momentum from his great NPS India 2025 run, Rajpal added a seventh-place finish in The Summit for another ₹1.58 Lakhs. His total Thursday take topped ₹3.68 Lakhs, pushing his annual earnings over the ₹50 Lakhs mark. Close behind him was Amit Kaushik, who continued his own great form with a runner-up finish in the same PLO event for ₹1.72 Lakhs. The Kurukshetra pro, already with major wins this year and a huge score at the VPT Championship Main Event final table, added a couple more deep runs to finish the night with close to ₹2 Lakhs collected.
Pratik Manjrekar kept his stunning 2025 campaign rolling, winning PokerBaazi’s WTF after a heads-up deal for ₹3.17 Lakhs – his third career win in the event and second of the year. The Mumbai pro has had a fantastic run all season, highlighted by a Bronze Medal finish in the NPS#191 Main Event. With this latest win—his fifth-best score of the year— and a total Thursday score of ₹3.20 Lakhs, he remains firmly in the hunt on the 2025 POY leaderboard, where he currently ranks #4. In the runner-up spot was fellow Maharashtrian Karan Kanani, who came close to a big breakthrough. The deal gave him a career-best ₹3.13 Lakhs, and along with a pair of small cashes, his Thursday earnings reached ₹3.16 Lakhs—a good showing from the former 2024 NPS#110 Slamdunk Gold Medallist.
‘amit1258’ won Junglee Poker’s BG#41 Thursday Mini Highroller, collecting ₹1.92 Lakhs, while Amit Kumar Jha added another win to his name with a ₹1.56 Lakhs score in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance (his third time winning this late-night event)—both posting strong results.
Over on Natural8 India, Nitin Gupta made a good showing with a deep run in the Zodiac Goat High Roller. Getting through a tough 285-player field, Gupta claimed an eighth-place finish worth ₹1.85 Lakhs. The result boosted his 2025 earnings on the site past ₹14 Lakhs.
Also doing well was Anshul Rajput, who put in volume and got two notable finishes. He started with an eighth-place run in the Daily Deepstack Special 125, collecting ₹74,421. Not long after, he won the Daily Turbo 80, taking down the 16-player field for ₹66,253. The scores added ₹1.41 Lakhs to his bankroll and boosted his annual Natural8 India earnings past ₹39 Lakhs.
Also making their presence felt across major platforms were Young Gun Abhishek Sonu, Shubham Agarwal, Pawan Dineshkeni, Prince Kumar, and Neeraj Kumar, each winning marquee events and adding to an action-filled night on the virtual felts.
Here are the Thursday highlights!

Thursday nights on PokerBaazi always feel like the warm-up lap for the big weekend grind, but the energy was sky-high last night. While the virtual felt kept buzzing, history was being written in Goa. The entire Indian poker community was tuned in as the first-ever National Poker Champion was about to be crowned.
The showdown stealing the spotlight was, of course, the National Poker Champion Finale. This wasn’t just another tournament but the thrilling climax of the record-breaking NPS India 2025, bringing together the top 12 State Leaderboard champions for a unique showdown. After three gruelling days and six intense match-play rounds at the Novotel Resort & Spa, it all came down to a final six battling under the bright lights. Gujarat’s Mohit Bohra played brilliantly in a tense, winner-takes-all finale streamed live on JioHotstar (with PokerGuru providing updates). The 26-year-old outlasted the five other state champions to claim the sought-after NPC trophy and a life-changing ₹1 Crore top prize, literally carving his name into Indian poker history.
And the celebration doesn’t end there! Bohra’s incredible victory unlocked a massive ₹1 Crore NPC State Freeroll exclusively for players from Gujarat who participated in NPS India 2025. Mark your calendars for April 26 – Bohra didn’t just win for himself; he brought a huge opportunity back home to his state’s players.
With so much attention focused on that nail-biting NPC finale in Goa, it’s no surprise the online action saw slightly smaller fields again last night. That created a fantastic scenario for grinders hitting the virtual tables – overlays were noticeable across several majors, even with PokerBaazi’s tempting TDS-free withdrawal offer running! While popular events like the Daily Last Chance and Big PLO-5 still comfortably hit their guarantees, the overlay trend continued elsewhere.
Even the big one, the night’s crown jewel, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit, landed well shy of its guarantee, like last week. That overlay added a dose of value — and plenty of drama — to what turned out to be a tough fight. Coming out on top was Kunal ‘Khanarana’ Kain, a familiar name from Delhi who has quietly been building serious momentum on PokerBaazi over the last six months.
Kain was clearly carrying good form into the night, coming off a personal-best third-place finish in Tuesday’s The Endeavour (for ₹3.69 Lakhs). Last night, he converted that momentum into the biggest win of his career. He went all the way in The Summit, taking down the title for a huge ₹7.50 Lakhs! This score smashed his previous best from just two days ago and gave him his fourth flagship title on PokerBaazi, his ninth tournament win overall in 2025, and his third victory in April alone.
The 8 PM showstopper pulled in 287 players, reaching 509 entries with re-entries. Kain himself needed that second bullet after busting early. Still, he regrouped and put in a stellar performance across the 8.5-hour grind, outlasting a challenging field packed with pros and persistent regulars to take the title.
And he didn’t stop there. Kain cashed in three other smaller events on the platform, putting together a Thursday haul of nearly ₹7.64 Lakhs, making him the biggest online winner of the day!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹7,50,000
> 4th in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹9,426
> 11th in PokerBaazi’s Evening SPRINT for ₹2,783
> 22nd in PokerBaazi’s (5-Max) Hyper for ₹1,695
Kunal Kumar Kain’s PokerBaazi stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹41.97 Lakhs| Lifetime Profit: ₹24.22 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #9 | Annual Winnings: ₹31.79 Lakhs
Almost writing the headline himself was Rajvardhan ‘mrmeeseeks0405’ Kavi, who came within touching distance of what could have been another golden chapter in his breakout year. Still riding high from grabbing the Gold Medal in the NPS#122 Slamdunk last month, Kavi looked poised for back-to-back stardom in The Summit — but the win slipped away this time.
After firing three bullets in The Summit and working through the tough field, Kavi’s run ended just short of the finish line. He still walked away with plenty – the runner-up finish earned him ₹5.17 Lakhs, his second-biggest online score ever (only behind his deep run in the NPS#191 Main Event last month, where he collected ₹6 Lakhs). Another big run, another deep reminder of the talent he’s bringing to the table in 2025.
Rajvardhan Kavi’s PokerBaazi stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹16.76 Lakhs| Lifetime Profit: ₹3.91 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The Summit final table was loaded with strong players. Arpan ‘Novus’ Majhi, who had just won the Summit Lite earlier, finished third here for ₹3.85 Lakhs, capping off an incredible double FT showing. Also making deep runs were Aayush ‘quads2810’ Pande (4th for ₹2.90 Lakhs), Sanjay ‘sanjaykotak’ Khanna, who also FT’d the WTF last night (5th for ₹2.44 Lakhs), Siddhartha ‘philivey2694’ Khanna (6th for ₹2.01 Lakhs), and Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal, yesterday’s Big PLO-5 champion and the #3 finisher on the NPS India 2025 Series Leaderboard (7th for ₹1.59 Lakhs).
Despite the top-tier lineup, the ₹10,000 buy-in The Summit didn’t quite reach its ambitious guarantee, resulting in a ₹5.74 Lakhs overlay—even larger than last week. This meant significant added value flowed back to the players, especially the top 84 finishers, who all walked away with at least ₹21,000, more than doubling their investment.
With non-stop tournament action, great promotions like TDS-free withdrawals fuelling the grind, daily fireworks lighting up the tables, and the post-NPS momentum still buzzing, there’s no question PokerBaazi remains a top spot for MTT players this summer. You can bet more big things are coming from the industry leader.

Pratik ‘zpAAced’ Manjrekar isn’t just having a good year—he’s building a legacy. Coming right off a runner-up finish in Adda52’s The Mint on Tuesday, the Mumbai poker pro put on another strong display in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD WTF last night. After just over eight hours of focused play, Manjrekar closed the books following a heads-up deal, pocketing ₹3.17 Lakhs for the victory. This win delivered him his third career WTF title and his second one already this year (he last took it down in January).
Manjrekar kicked off his 2025 campaign in blazing form, hitting a monster ₹11.34 Lakhs score on Natural8 India early in January, which set the tone for a year defined by sharp, consistent results. His run at NPS India 2025 was equally impressive – he captured Gold in the NPS#180 Knockout (PKO) and finished the series strong, powering his way to a Bronze Medal in the record-setting NPS#191 Main Event for a colossal ₹60.64 Lakhs. His total series haul reached ₹73.24 Lakhs across an incredible 71 cashes (from 151 events played). He hasn’t let up since, adding wins in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show and Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo. This relentless consistency keeps him at #4 on the 2025 Player of the Year leaderboard.
Last night’s WTF victory saw Manjrekar expertly navigate a field of 763 entries (421 unique) in the 7:30 PM flagship. It was a demanding grind, but he persevered, clinching his fifth-best score of the year. A small additional cash of ₹2,625 in Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO (23rd) meant his total Thursday take reached ₹3.20 Lakhs, adding more fuel to his quest for the coveted POY crown.
Pratik Manjrekar’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.39 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.18 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.22 Crores (across all platforms) | Annual Profits: ₹87.25 Lakhs (across all platforms) | Ranked #4 in the 2025 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes)
The WTF heads-up clash turned into an all-Maharashtra affair, with Karan ‘Kaio575’ Kanani putting up a spirited fight. Kanani, perhaps less recognized on the scene but a regular fixture on PokerBaazi and a former NPS Gold Medallist (NPS#110 Slamdunk champion last year), had been searching for that next breakthrough win. He came close last night, ultimately agreeing to a heads-up deal before finishing second. That deal still resulted in a handsome ₹3.13 Lakhs payday – a new personal-best score for Kanani!
Adding small cashes from PokerBaazi’s Evening SPRINT (25th for ₹1,897) and Daily Morning SPRINT (47th for ₹1,530), Kanani wrapped up a highly productive Thursday session with ₹3.16 Lakhs credited to his account.
Karan Kanani’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹54.08 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹12.89 Lakhs
Also deep in the mix, as is often the case, was Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur. This volume machine continues his tireless grind across platforms. Having already won Wednesday’s Bounty Madness and final-tabled The Pride, Thakur kept the momentum going Thursday. He logged five more deep runs, including his third-place finish in the WTF for ₹1.85 Lakhs. He also appeared at the final tables of Adda52’s Godfather (5th for ₹1.08 Lakhs* – qualified via ₹575 satellite) and PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance (6th for ₹48,973), collecting over ₹3.52 Lakhs across another eventful session!
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹1,85,000
> 5th in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹1,08,450
> 6th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹48,973
> 12th in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost for ₹7,775
> 25th in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) BOOST for ₹1,845
The WTF final table was certainly no picnic, featuring several well-known online grinders. Archit ‘flyingmuck’ Khandelwal, who final-tabled The Quest earlier this month, placed fourth for ₹1.43 Lakhs. Sanjay ‘sanjaykotak’ Khanna, who made the WTF final table in January, finished fifth this time for ₹1.17 Lakhs. The ever-present Shagun ‘sogani22’ Jain, who also made a third-place finish in the Summit Lite last night and bagged the chip lead on Day 1B of Adda52`s new Burstfire, added another ₹75,000 to his tally with a seventh-place finish. Ayush ‘goosemaverick’ Khandelwal rounded out the final table in eighth place, earning ₹54,750.
With attention drawn to the NPC finale, most primetime flagships felt the overlay heat, and the same applied to the ₹3,300 buy-in WTF, which had an overlay shortfall of ₹3.10 Lakhs. But for the 118 players who cashed, even a min-cash of ₹7,500 meant more than doubling their initial buy-in. This online grind provided its excitement, adding another layer to what was truly a historic day for Indian poker, with Mohit Bohra becoming the first National Poker Champion!

Thursday was a historic day for Indian poker, with the whole community glued to the action as Gujarat’s Mohit Bohra became the first National Poker Champion in a down-to-the-wire finale in Goa! With so much focus on the live showdown, the online felt was noticeably lighter again. However, proving its dedicated following, PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5 completely bucked the overlay trend yet again.
The PLO flagship comfortably crushed its guarantee last night, dishing out six hours and 18 minutes of five-card chaos as top players went at it in the 9 PM event. Coming out on top was a deserving winner: Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal, who put on a strong show to grab his second title of the year on the platform.
The Delhi-based pro has a grinder’s heart! He’s still riding high from an epic NPS India 2025 run, where he incredibly played all 191 events, collected four medals, and banked ₹15 Lakhs for finishing #3 on the Series Leaderboard. That kind of form doesn’t fade easily. He came close to another title earlier this month with a runner-up finish in Junglee Poker’s BG#8 Sunday Special KO, and last night, he finally snapped a two-month winless streak.
Taking on a field of 241 entries (115 unique) in the Big PLO-5, Rajpal cranked up the heat and shipped the event for a cool ₹2.10 Lakhs. But his work wasn’t over; he also went deep in The Summit, finishing seventh for another ₹1.59 Lakhs. With these scores combined, his Thursday haul pushed past the ₹3.68 Lakhs mark, pushing his annual earnings over the ₹50 Lakhs mark (not even counting those leaderboard prizes)!
Vinay Rajpal’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.99 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.98 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Annual Winnings: ₹50.29 Lakhs
Also throwing heavy punches last night was Kurukshetra’s poker beast, Amit ‘quark’ Kaushik, who has been running hot across the circuit recently. After a strong February—winning the Godfather and taking Bronze in NPS#32 (PLO-5) Megadive—and a good March that included wins in Adda52’s The Mint and a runner-up in Iron Man, plus coming off that impressive sixth-place finish in the first-ever VPT Championship Main Event in Phu Quoc (worth ₹19.57 Lakhs!), Kaushik was back on the online grind, hungry for his first online title in April.
True to his reputation as a multi-format threat, the two-time Adda52 Millions champ dove into the Big PLO-5 with intent. Although the win remained elusive, Kaushik battled his way to a second-place finish, adding ₹1.73 Lakhs to his bankroll. With deep runs in two other flagships, his Thursday tally climbed to almost ₹2 Lakhs.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹1,72,898
> 14th in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹19,183
> 101th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹7,500
Amit Kaushik’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.05 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹3.21 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Annual Winnings: ₹50.29 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹11.04 Lakhs
The Big PLO-5 final table didn’t lack firepower, featuring several well-known regulars. Sunday’s (6-Max) BSS SPRINT runner-up Dhirendra ‘dhiru91’ Kumar finished third for ₹1.31 Lakhs. The dangerous ‘Daddu26’ took fourth for ₹86,973, followed by Ashutosh ‘predictkar’ Paibhale in fifth for ₹52,393, and last week’s The Ballers winner Sahil ‘ImHighIshove’ Mahboobani in sixth for ₹41,915.
As one of PokerBaazi’s most popular events, the ₹5,000 buy-in Big PLO-5 proved its mettle again, generating a rewarding ₹10.48 Lakhs prize pool that comfortably exceeded the guarantee. The top 33 players received a piece of the action, with payouts starting at ₹9,431. It was another successful outing for this PLO flagship, delivering a feast of excitement and payouts for the five-card Omaha fans.

Thursday was certainly a day for the history books in Indian poker, as Gujarat’s Mohit Bohra claimed the first-ever National Poker Champion title down in Goa, scooping that incredible ₹1 Crore prize! With the whole community buzzing about the NPC finale (streamed live on JioHotstar with PokerGuru updates!) and everyone rooting for their state champs, the online poker scene felt the effects. Traffic was noticeably lighter for the second night running, but that just meant value hunters had a field day – overlays were popping up left and right, even hitting several PokerBaazi majors despite their tempting TDS-free cashout offer!
While the crowd favourites like the Daily Last Chance and Big PLO-5 still managed to cruise past their guarantees, the overlay trend hit elsewhere. As usual, the primetime Thursday action on PokerBaazi got underway with the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Summit Lite at 7:30 PM. Even though this tournament saw a significant overlay, it still pulled in a solid 212 players (366 total entries) for an action-packed grind that stretched past 1 AM Friday morning.
The last player standing when the dust settled was Arpan ‘Novus’ Majhi. The West Bengal-based player, a former The MoneyMaker champion, had been flying somewhat under the radar over the past couple of weeks. Well, that changed decisively last night.
Majhi, who already had wins in the BSS SPRINT, The Ballers, and Pocket Queens in January (plus some close calls on Pocket52 in February), fired two bullets in the Summit Lite. After just under six hours of play, he finished the job, taking down the title at 1:23 AM. The victory, sealed via a heads-up deal, added ₹1.61 Lakhs to his bankroll, gave him his fourth title of 2025, and signalled a return to top form just in time for the summer grind.
But Arpan Majhi wasn’t finished making noise. About three hours later, he was deep in the bigger sibling tournament, The Summit. He put himself in serious contention for a fantastic double victory, eventually finishing in third place for a huge ₹3.85 Lakhs – his biggest score of the year and fourth-best online cash ever! Between these two fantastic results, Majhi banked over ₹5.46 Lakhs for the night, landing him second on the Thursday charts and putting everyone on notice that he’s back in peak form.
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹3,85,000
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹1,61,108* (heads-up deal)
The player Majhi hammered out the Summit Lite deal with was Jaikishan ‘royalking7424’ Jangid. Coming off a strong NPS India 2025 showing (a Bronze in NPS#97 Sunday Kickoff and Silver in NPS#184 (7-Max) SPRINT), Jangid came ready to play. He also fired two bullets and fought hard all the way to the end.
The heads-up deal saw Jangid, who held the chip lead at that point, lock up the larger share of the prize money – ₹1.71 Lakhs – despite officially taking the runner-up spot. It adds another strong result to his 2025 record (which includes a BSS Super Value win in January). Cashing in two other events meant his Thursday earnings came in at just over ₹1.75 Lakhs.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹1,71,052* (heads-up deal)
> 37th in PokerBaazi’s Daily BOOST for ₹2,370
> 31st in PokerBaazi’s Evening SPRINT for ₹1,644
And where there’s a major final table, you can usually find Young Gun Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood. The three-time POY is practically poker royalty in India, known for one of the most explosive rises the scene has ever witnessed. As the winningest player on our tracked database, Sood is always a threat when he hits form, and he’s certainly been active this week, winning his eleventh Adda52 Millions title on Sunday and final tabling the Wednesday Wonder.
He kept rolling last night with a sixth-place finish in Summit Lite for ₹45,600 and nearly went all the way in Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO, finishing runner-up there for ₹34,107. Adding cashes in three other PokerBaazi flagships, Sood’s multi-table session yielded over ₹1.38 Lakhs on Thursday, keeping his grind as consistent as ever.
> 6th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹45,600
> 2nd in Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO for ₹34,107
> 8th in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹26,197
> 58th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹21,000
> 47th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹11,250
Gaurav Sood’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹23.58 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹12.25 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #8
The Summit Lite final table also featured other tough regulars like last night`s WTF finalist Shagun ‘sogani22’ Jain (3rd for ₹1.10 Lakhs), 2024 POY#6 Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma (4th for ₹84,000), and Sunday’s BSS SuperStack runner-up Siddhant ‘aajnahiaana’ Singh (8th for ₹31,800), who seems to be running very well lately.
Like many other flagships last night, the ₹3,000 buy-in Summit Lite came up significantly short of its ₹12 Lakhs guarantee, missing by ₹2.45 Lakhs (almost 25%). This overlay meant insane extra value for the field. The prize pool was shared among the top 51 finishers, with a min-cash worth ₹7,200 – a welcome bonus on top of the already high-energy Thursday grind on PokerBaazi.

Thursday was a day etched in Indian poker history, with everyone watching Gujarat’s Mohit Bohra become the country’s first National Poker Champion in Goa! But the poker grind waits for no one. As the confetti settled from the NPC finale and the eyeballs shifted from the JioHotstar live stream back to the online tables, where PokerBaazi’s late-night special, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance, delivered its dose of excitement.
While many other tournaments felt the effects of the NPC buzz with lighter fields, the Daily Last Chance proved its popularity again, easily sailing past its guarantee – a welcome sight amidst the overlays elsewhere!
The star of this late shift was Amit ‘philivey007’ Kumar Jha. The online regular from Darbhanga put on a show in the Daily Last Chance. Jha worked through the 10:30 PM flagship field with precision, taking down the title for the third time in his career (and his second time winning it this year!). He sealed the victory in style after a heads-up deal, locking in a ₹1.56 Lakhs payday – another great highlight for his list of wins.
The Daily Last Chance is a regular feature on PokerBaazi’s schedule, and Thursday night drew a strong crowd. A total of 566 entries (319 unique) jumped in, creating a prize pool worth fighting for. Jha, who snagged Bronze in the NPS#147 Mini Main Event last month, was back on familiar ground. Having won this same event on March 28, he climbed to the top again after a quick but intense six-hour run, clinching his fifth title on the platform this year! Jha also made money in three other events; his total Thursday take landed just under ₹1.60 Lakhs.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹1,56,246* (heads-up deal)
> 24th in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) Boost for ₹2,296

> 26th in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) PKO for ₹137
Amit Kumar Jha’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹90.27 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹35.71 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #5
Also making a serious run was Parimal ‘casadeseo’ Maheshwari. The NPS#150 (7-Max) SPRINT Silver Medallist and former Blockbuster Lite champion was aiming for his first title in over a year and looked set to win it all in the Daily Last Chance—but the deck had other plans. Still, his performance was well rewarded. Maheshwari collected an equally nice ₹1.55 Lakhs for his runner-up finish following the deal – his second-best score of 2025 (and third-best ever on PokerBaazi), providing a nice boost from his ongoing downswing.
The Daily Last Chance final table featured plenty of familiar firepower. Taking the final podium spot was Sarthak ‘legalaction’ Sharma, the NPS#56 Deepdive Gold Medallist, who finished third for ₹92,409, adding another solid score to his name. Wednesday’s top earner, the multi-talented Siddhanth ‘Bullzeye’ Kapoor, finished fourth for ₹70,138. Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur, who made the WTF podium and Godfather final table earlier in the night, took fifth for ₹48,973 (his third FT appearance!). The consistently performing Janish ‘janish1998’ Jain, Wednesday`s WTF finalist, rounded out the notable names with an eighth-place finish worth ₹28,670.
A clear fan-favourite on PokerBaazi, the ₹2,500 buy-in Daily Last Chance delivered again. Attracting that large field, the event easily beat its guarantee, creating a tempting ₹12.30 Lakhs prize pool. The top 87 players cashed, each taking home at least ₹5,414. This late-night tournament continues to boost its reputation as a go-to spot for players grinding into the early hours.

Adda52 is definitely turning up the heat this summer! Their updated and richer MTT schedule isn’t just temporary – it feels like a permanent shift, making it plain this long-standing platform isn’t content to sit back anymore. They’re making serious moves to close the gap with the current market leader, PokerBaazi!
That fresh, determined energy was easy to see last night. The mid-week action yet again rolled out the key majors: the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Godfather took its usual prime spot, while the ₹4.50 Lakhs GTD Monster Turbo KO added some knockout fun. Plus, the second starting flight for their brand new ₹1 Crore GTD Burstfire multi-flight tournament kicked off, making it a busy Thursday on India’s longest-serving online poker site!
Taking down the biggest prize of the night on the platform was a familiar face often found deep in Adda52’s majors: Young Gun Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra. Displaying a potent mix of patience, precision, and his characteristic flair, Mehrotra conquered the Godfather field for an incredible sixth time in his career! This also gave him his second major victory of the year, following his Adda52 Millions win in March.
While Mehrotra might not grab the headlines every week, don’t let that fool you – his consistency is remarkable. Just look at his profit graph, which has climbed steadily upwards over the last five years! A regular presence at final tables, this IIT and IIM alum from Gurgaon stacked up a bunch of deep runs in the Sunday Big Slick, Mystery Bounty, and Adda52 Millions this month alone!
He seemed overdue for another top finish and delivered precisely that last night. The 8 PM Godfather provided another value-packed battle; although it missed its guarantee, it drew a larger field than last week with 155 players (355 total entries) diving into the action. The competition was predictably fierce, but Mehrotra calmly navigated the challenges, picked his spots effectively, and closed out the tournament after a focused final push. The win earned him ₹3.76 Lakhs – his third-best result on Adda52 this year.
Mehrotra also put in some volume on PokerBaazi, adding two small cashes there. His combined Thursday earnings tipped just under ₹4.14 Lakhs, adding more to a stacked poker resume already boasting over ₹16 Crores in online earnings and north of ₹6 Crores in profits. He might have been quieter on the win front lately, but this top competitor is always dangerous!

Sanat Mehrotra’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹16.25 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹6.04 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2
While Mehrotra took the Godfather crown, another long-time regular, Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla, made serious waves himself. Chawla has been putting together a string of strong results recently, including a fifth-place finish in PokerBaazi`s Daily Last Chance just last week. Playing focused poker, Chawla came painfully close to grabbing his first win of 2025, finishing as the runner-up in the Adda52 flagship. Still, the deep run resulted in a very nice ₹2.75 Lakhs payday – his biggest score on the platform this year.
Pranay Chawla’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.77 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.69 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The Godfather final table was arguably the toughest lineup seen anywhere online last night, packed with sharks. Check out this list: Lavesh ‘UPay4MyWeed98’ Meena, who seems to be on a permanent heater (and finished runner-up in Tuesday’s Big PLO-5), took third for ₹2.02 Lakhs. Myron ‘zzzzz369’ Pereira, winner of Tuesday’s Supreme, finished fourth for ₹1.48 Lakhs. Rajneesh ‘rajneesh620’ Thakur, the high-volume grinder who won Wednesday’s Bounty Madness and podiumed WTF last night, grabbed fifth for ₹1.08 Lakhs. Dhinesh ‘dinzy009’ Kumar, who took third in Tuesday’s The Endeavour Lite, finished sixth for ₹79,493. And last week’s Godfather finalist Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo rounded out the serious contenders in seventh for ₹58,268.
With a ₹2.25 Lakhs overlay, the ₹5,750 buy-in Godfather turned into a fantastic value proposition for the players, practically a bargain! Payouts started at ₹12,706 (more than double the entry fee), meaning the top 53 finishers locked up a tidy profit. Between the revamped schedule and frequent overlays adding serious juice to the prize pools, Adda52 is making a strong case for being a prime destination for tournament players right now.
