The weekend got off to an exciting start for poker players. And Friday`s biggest winner was Ram Kakkar, who took down Adda52′ The Ballers for ₹5.63 Lakhs. Ayush Garg came second for ₹3.41 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire is back after a two-week-long hiatus and running along Day 1B of the weekend flagship last night was The Elite and a packed UVS schedule of events. Vinayak Bajaj was the top scorer on the site and took down The Elite for ₹4.93 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Haider Madraswala (2nd for ₹4.81 Lakhs).

PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller was taken down by the mystery user ‘swaroopvajrapu’ for ₹3.22 Lakhs. Suneeth Kalmady secured a second-place payout worth ₹2.25 Lakhs.

Anmol Agarwal came out on top in PokerStars India’s Super Highroller after agreeing to a heads-up chop with veteran pro Shravan Chhabria. Both players banked ₹3.06 Lakhs.

The other prominent Friday winners were Prateek Ajmani, Sunil Saraf, Sachin Sharma, Kritagya Sharma, Sushil Kumar, Mandar Madaye, Vinay B, Anita Gupta, and Sachin Gupta.

PokerBaazi`s Grinders Series is fast approaching the finish line, and the ₹6 Lakhs GTD Grinders #27 Highroller set the tone for a thrilling finale for the series.

The 7 PM event drew a smashing 414 runners, generating a whopping ₹8.28 Lakhs prize pool. The event wrapped up a little before 5 AM, with Prateek ‘Pm1123’ Ajmani walking away with the title and a ₹1.66 Lakhs payday, edging past Harsh ‘100crdream’ Dembla (2nd for ₹1.17 Lakhs) in heads-up play.

Harsh Dembla made quite the run in the Friday high rollers, as he also finished fifth in PokerStars India’s Super Highroller for ₹1.20 Lakhs, adding ₹2.36 Lakhs in Friday earnings.

Our very own Chota Machhi, AKA, Arpit ‘bilbo_baggins’ Jain, was also in the thick of the action. Jain, who regularly live-streams his online exploits, made an explosive run in the event and was among the chip leaders for the most part.
